    Hi all!
    Can anyone tell me if there is a way to control the possibility of changing a sales order through the status?
    I wanted that when a sales order reaches a certain user status, for it to be blocked to modifications, as if it was display only...

    Requirement is strange, but still may be possible,.
    Can you give some more info like..
    1. all the users have to be blocked or only particular user?
    2. what wud be the next flow processing of tht order ? like after blocking what you wanna do ? want to raise a message or ?
    Some Work arounds for the above 2 scenarios wud be.....
    1. if a set of users have to be blocked, its very much possible thru customization like, you can define status Authorization keys in Status Management in SPRO where u will be setting the auth key for the user profile
    2. if you want to just block the user not to go ahead i e atleast he shudnt save the order, you can implement CRM_ORDER_STATUS Badi in which you have to raise a error message on the application log saying tht it cannot be saved for so and so reason
    if this solves..coool ....if not tell me the exact scenario ..

  • Extracting User Status for Sales Orders

    I am trying to extract user status transactional data for sales orders (at both the header and item level).  I have been following SAP note 300300 to configure the status extractors and map the BW objects to sales order status data sources (2LIS_11_VASTH & 2LIS_11_VASTI).  I think I have set up both R/3 and BW correctly according to note 300300 and the IMG documentation, but I am not getting any values in the info source for the new user status info objects, when I run the extract.
    Has anyone successfully done this?  If so, do you have any documentation or pointers on how I can get this to work?  Or, am I better off creating a generic extractor?  Thanks for your consideration.

    well yes, I can derive the status for that order in the update rules if i show the status as an attribute of the 0pm_order; but basically there will be only the last status shown.
    My problem:
    a. i report on day 1, the status of the order is REL
    b. on day 2 i load the master data for the orders, new status is TECO
    c. on day three i want to report in the past and see the status of day 1; that's not possible in this scenario because i'll see the current status (TECO).
    So that's why I want to have the statuses in the cube...
    The 2lis_17_i3hdr extractor is only sensitive to CRT and TECO statuses, but not to the others (like REL / BLC and so on... :_(( )
    I could read the statuses from the JEST and TJ02T tables...but still, if a document status is changed, no delta record is written in the queue...

  • Detect change user status on sales order

    Hi,
    I have a requirement that a custom program must start when a user puts a certain user status on a sales order.
    Problem is that I cannot detect on which event I can trigger this custom when the user status is changed. There seems not to be an entry in the change documents table, or an event triggered,...
    Does someone has already encountered such an issue ?

    thank you for your fast reply!
    I guess I will give it a try to do this with functions if I just can get it running with the cl_crm_mktpl_appl_base-class.
    As you suggested Shiromani the Save_and_commit gets an error in the assignment checks in the check_attributes-method.
    So I probably have to take a closer look why this method is returning an error-flag. Unfortunately I am not getting an error message - only an error flag is set.
    I will take a closer look at it today and keep you informed if I find out anything useful.

  • Updating the User Status in Sales Order Item

    Dear Gurus,
    Iam trying to update the User Status on the SO item using STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN function module and the status is successfully getting updated.
    But the problem is if Iam updating the status it has to delete the Purchase Requisition assgined to it, which is not happening.. whereas when Iam manually changing the Status, the PR is getting deleted.. Can anyone suggest some other function module or some other way of doing it other than BDC?

  • The status of sales order is being in processed

    Dear All,
    The delivery quantity is fully delivered and it is order related billing, this is a Sales Bom, the header is delivered and the line items are billed, the status of sales order is being in processed after the completion of the subsequent documents,
    In the document flow the system is showing that the order is being processed, we have checked the copy control and the relevant assignments. As we are facing the problem while creating sales order system giving an error message that there are open items for the customer. Please tell me if there is any customization is there or is there any other way to achieve.
    The other requirement is, if the customer credit limit get exceeds then the system should not save the sales order, if the credit lies within the limit and if the stock is not available in that particular plant, it is a dynamic credit limit.

    1. For your first issue u201Cstatus of sales order is being in processedu201D
    Please check the below settings:
    Copy control From Sales order (OR) to Delivery (LF) u2013 T.code: VTLA.
    In Item level (TAN)  whether u201CUpdate document flowu201D is activated or not.
    You should also check in the Item category (VOV7):
    Completion Rule: Which one did you maintain?
    2. Error message: Open items:
    This is related with Credit management. Check whether you maintain any open item days or percentage, please check in OVA8. If you maintain you should get the payment from your customer . This is related with FI ( T.code : F-28 )
    Dynamic credit check :
    The setting is available in OVA8. Choose your credit control area, Risk category and Credit groups ( Should be Sales order group ). Then select the indicator u201C Dynamic u201C In Reaction you should give B ( Error ). Then the system will not allow to save the sales order if credit limit is exceeded .
    3. If the stock is not available in that particular plant, it is a dynamic credit limit.
    I think it is not possible . You may use the User exit in OVA8.

  • Order and item status in sales order

    We had multiple items in the sales order
    for one of the item, the quantity was 5, but user cretaed a delivery of 8. but she only post goods issue for 5.
    the delivery and order was open
    at this stage the archival of delivery took place.
    we changed the status in tables vbuk and vbup to complete.
    but in the display of status in sales order, it still shows being processed.
    What can we do now to set the order status and item status to COMPLETE.

    This order status will not be complete unless the delivered quantity is equal to the order quantity. You have 2 options. 1. Change the order quantity to 8 and delliver the rest 3 and the order status will be set to COMPLETE. 2. Otherwise, reverse the PGI in VL09n and delete the delivery and create the delivery again for 5 qty. This will set the order status as COMPLETE.

    Involved program components
    System modifications for sales document processing affect different areas. Depending on the modification, you make the changes in the program components provided:
    MV45ATZZ
    For entering metadata for sales document processing. User-specific metadata must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AOZZ
    For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing which are called up by the screen and run under PBO (Process Before Output) prior to output of the screen. The modules must start with "ZZ".
    MV45AIZZ
    For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing. These are called up by the screen and run under PAI (Process After Input) after data input (for example, data validation). The modules must start with "ZZ".

    For field transports, you do not have to make changes or adjustments.
    Example
    A new field, VBAK-ZZKUN, should be included in table VBAK.
    If the check is defined via the Dictionary (fixed values or check table) the field must be included with the fullscreen editor in the Include screen SAPMV45A 8309. In this case, no change has to be made to the processing logic.

    price should not be visible to other user's in sales order level, it should be visible after invoice only ...
    eg : gurgoan user should not be able to see the sales order price of hyderabad user raised sales order ... but gurgoan user should able to raise the sales order for his customer ..

    If you are talking about pricing condition control through authorizations in sales transaction VA01, VA02 etc. - please check SAP Note 105621: Suppressing display of Sales Order Conditions.I would suggest that you search for this auth object and note and work accordingly) and it shall enable you to restrict display to specific conditon type (for example VPRS: cost).
    For this you need to know the pricing procedure and step number relevant to your sales order. Please seek guidance from functional consultant on it.
    Secondly as you want to restrict access on geography you have to use org level controls as applicable along with the above auth object.

  • Splitting line item in Sales Order-VA02

    Hello All,
            I got struck with the below requirement, Can someone share their ideas, if any one come across such case.
    Requirement : If ordered material obsolete then system has to propose follow up material ( which will be maintained in MMR-MRP4 view - Followup material field) based on stock availability.
    We have done the same by using USEREXIT in Sales order creation & working fine without any issues.
    But, If stock partially exists for entered material, then new line item has to add/insert with the follow up material.
    Eg;
    M1- stock -30 ea
    M2- No stock ( Follow up material)
    *In Sales Order Creation- VA01,*
    Line Item -- Material - Ordered Qty
    M1 - 50 Qty (ordered qty)
    Result;
    Line Item -- Material - Ordered Qty - Item Cat
    10----M1-----30 ea  -  TAN
    11----M2--
    20 ea  - TAB ( MTO)
    Working fine-
    We are able to do it during Sale Order creation (VA01).
    *Change mode of Sales order - VA02;*
    Line Item -- Material - Ordered Qty - Item Cat

    if  user increases the M1 qtty to 10 Ea, then system should behave as shown in below eg,

    But We are facing problem during Change mode .
    in VA01-  (Sale order Creation), the logic was written in exit : USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK - which is working fine
    During Change(VA02), above exit will not be useful. Hence tried to use exit : USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP.
    But not able to add new item at this level.
    All useful ideal will be appreciated.

    Material determination will not suffice our requirement, because it will not substitute the follow up material, when entered material have partial stock. In VB12 - MRP indicator will active only when stock is not available for entered material & results according to the substitution reason
    In our case,
    if entered material doesnt have stock, then follow up material should replace with complete ordered qty,
    if entered material have partial stock exists, then system confirms for available qtty & create new line item with balance qtty, item cat-TAB----
    that is the reason we didnt go for material determination. ( you cant have 2 substitution reasons for one record in VB12)
    VBAK has to be used to check the overall document qtty. the above explained scenario working fine with our development in create mode.
    But in change mode, if user tries to increase the qtty in entered material, then this one more new line item has to create for folloup material with excess qty - is our requirement .

    Hi Dinesh,
      Delivery block is used when you do not want to create a delivery for any particular reason.
    Th reason may be that the credit limmit for customer has exceeded and you don't want to create any further delivery for that.This block can be created in the overview screen of sales order.
      The important thing is that you can put only those delivery blocks which have been assigned to your delivery types.The path is spro--logistics execution--shipping -delivery-define block reasons for shipping.

    I want to show user status and system status for service order in my report and i am using CRM_ORDER_READ function module to read the status, but it is returning lot of status records, could anyone please suggest how to get the system status and user status for service order.
    I did not find any clue for how to get user status, i can see the user status when i open the transaction using CRMD_ORDER.

    Hi,
      Go to CRM_JEST table give your service order guid and get the status, pass this status into TJ02. You will get the status of your order.

  • Open status of Sales Order in 3-trd party proces

    Hello
    In finished process of third party processing, and I have still status of Sales Order as open.
    There is no delivery in the process, but "delivery status" is 'not delivered.' There is only copy control between Sales Order --> Invoice. Item category is not relevant for delivery. What can I check more?
    I know that normally on Item Category I have to change the completion rule on B or C.
    Normally You have to also change copy control, for the relevant Item category, Update document flow field has the X value, but there is no copy control for sales order, only for invoice.

    There waa already created Invoice! 'Invoice quantities' field change (in copy control), also didn't help.
    But I have noticed that Sales Order for 3-rd party have assigned scheduling line which is relevant for delivery. Is it correctly?
    It must be something with 'delivery' because, the status is 'not delivered'. But in this process shouldn't be any delivery!
