Change Active Tab on TABBEDMENU Widget after exporting MUSE site to HTML

Hello,
We need to be able to change the active tab, not default tab, on a tabbedmenu widget based on an event from a button on the site using onCLick - onTouchStart etc.

As far as your web site is concerned, have you already tried the built in FTP upload feature from the File menu? I checked your web site again and it gave me a server permission error.

Hi,
I think JavaScript should be used if there is no native way of doing so or if the native way is overly expensive. In the mentioned usecase, set the command link to have partialSubmit = true, then create a JSF binding to the managed bean that handles setting the disclosure change on command link action. call RequestContext.getCurrentinstance().addPartialTarget(tab_component reference) to refresh the page

Changing activ tab with button click

Hello,
I have a tabstrip with several tabs. On Tab2 I have a list of invoices. If the user clicks on the copy button I want to copy several fields into a form on tab1. That is working well. I also want to change the activ tab from Tab2 to Tab1 so that the user is facing the formular but I do not know how to do it.

Hi Stefan,
There is property for TabStrip UI element "selectedTab" (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/f0/e5a8411fdbcc46e10000000a155106/frameset.htm). Bind it to context attibute and change in action handler accordingly.

Exported muse site won't switch to mobile

Hello,
I just recently created a muse site for silascruces.com
They wanted to use an outside host so we ftp'd the exported muse files and now when I go to the site on my phone, it doesn't switch to the mobile version like it used to when I had it on business catalyst.
Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix the problem?
I have an idea of what the problem might be but would like to read your input on the issue first!

I just checked on my phone and your site is redirecting to Phone version.
Did you manage to fix it? if not, please try some other phone or try to clear Browser cache of your phone.

Can I change active tab on Safari from Search tab to Address tab on iPad 2 ?

When I open a new tab in Safari its automatically puts you on search tab .. I want to disable this to makes the address tab is active when I start a new tab .. is it possible ?

You need to create a backing bean that will hold code for the event of clicking on the link.
In that code you'll set the disclosed property of the showDetailItem you want to make active to true, and then change the other tab to false.

Muse changes "names" of my .png when i export the site

hey guys,
i've built my website with normal .png and @2x.png icons (with double the size and resolution), followed all steps on this link http://www.muse-themes.com/blogs/news/6668254-designing-for-retina-dis play-in-adobe-muse to make it capable with retina displays. But Muse changes the names of the .png. Like it puts the names of the content holder of BC behind the original name.
So all the javascripts that i've applied to my the header windows and the javascript file which i have uploaded to the root/script folder on bc don't work!
i exported the website to my desktop as HTML, opened it with dreamveawer and had the same problem... no Retina support at all!
now my question: do i have to use the normal .png with originial size, without any states-effects (rollover, etc.) and do i have to upload the @2x.png
with file upload option within muse? Or should i use like Cyberduck FSTP to upload to BC?

Hi
Muse will add "_2x" to image names if you are using HiDPI images using javascript, which is expected behavior.
How exactly you are checking HD images on screen , means if the images which are showing up are HD or not, are you using a HD compatible monitor ?
Regarding your question, you would need to upload 2x images to your image folder.

I can not get my IE 8 favorites over to Firefox (ver.25.0.1) bookmarks even after exporting IE fav. to html file and then in Bookmarks importing thru Manager!!

using XP professional, have hundreds of Favorites in IE 8. I can not get them over into Firefox either directly from the Bookmarks Manager (show all bookmarks/import and backup/Import data from another browser OR by exporting the Favorites in IE 8 to a html file (did) and then coming back over to Firefox Bookmarks and using the Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/import and backup/import bookmarks from html file. I find the file, double click it open BUT nothing happens in the Bookmarks Library???
It is not a case on some come over - nothing happens??

Did you try a search in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) for some know bookmarks?
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Mac_Heibu has the right idea. When you export your site to HTML, it creates a folder that contains all of your pages. Here's an example of what the folder will contain. All of your HTML pages, all your scripts, CSS, and it'll also have individual folders WITHIN your main folder for your phone or tablet versions, if applicable. This method allows you to upload your files to an FTP host. However, if you're trying to upload it to an FTP, the BETTER option would be to go File > Upload to FTP Host. Tabbed and accordion widgets not working after latest export.

The accordion widget was working on the sites I built, but now when I export the sites after changes, the accordion and tabbed panels don't work.
The link below shows the old accordion and the new one I was placed from Muse.

This one didn't work though. I tried removing the clear Lock line, and I don't get any errors. But then it doesn't work properly.

How can I prevent the active Tab Group from changing whenever I close a tab?

Simply, often I will close a tab in Firefox 4; then, for some reason the active Tab Group changes to some other collection. It usually happens when I close the last tab in my tabs bar, but it has happened after closing other tabs, as well. Would love to prevent Tab Groups from changing automatically. Thank you!

I tried precisely your suggestion before posting my message to the forum yesterday. I just forgot to mention it... Maybe I was afraid of increasing my message length more and more...
I already know that this solution prevents the MediaTracker from blocking. However...
(1) If they reach a troublesome image (like a Targa), the users of my application might not be pleased by its freezing for 10 seconds. Actually, this image loading module is part of an architecture for database applications from which my development team and I produce applications for various customers. Images are used, in particular, in Oracle BLOB support.
(2) If I use a smaller timeout delay, I have no guarantee that any image, whatever its length, will load properly (Targa excluded, of course). According to tests I performed yesterday, I am virtually sure that the 10-second delay will be busted very easily by pictures larger than 1 Mb. I cannot overlook this potential problem: an Oracle BLOB can contain up to 2 terabytes of data!
On the other side, I don't want to focus too much the attention on the JIMI Targa import filter because I know that a revised version of the JIMI and JAI packages will be part of JDK 1.4. This is why I am trying to figure out what is happening in the MediaTracker and Toolkit classes, which are much more fundamental than the Jimi ones...

How to change a TAB dynamically to be the active tab?

Hi,
I have a portlet written in Java and registered using a web provider. This portlet exposes a link which drives the content of another portlet through parameters&events.
This other portlet is placed on the same page but on a different TAB (!).
What I want is, when clicked on the link in Portlet1, this changes the content of the Portlet2 (via an event and parameter - that works) AND should change the TAB, so that the TAB which contains the Portlet2 is active and shown.
I couldn't figure out, how to change the TAB with an event or any other way. I can easily change the page through an event, but not to a tab on the same page. Do I overlook something or can I just don't use events for this?
Is there any API function which does changing tabs or getting the tab id or is there any other programmatic workaround to do dynamic tab changing?
If so, can someone point me to a code fragment?
Any help would be much appreciated.

A work around may be to change the location.href to the url of the tab you want to switch to.
Have you tried that already?

When I switch to Safari, e.g. with command+tab or change space, the active tab of Safari seem inactive while the rest of the application seems active (the tab has a lighter gray).

This is not just ugly, I have to click on another application then switch back to get rid of it, and I can't use shortcuts correctly – if I press command+w Safari asks me if I want to close all open tags, and I can't use spacebar to scroll forward in sites.

When i have more tabs opened a active tab color is gray, i used to have it set to be red. How can i change it back to red?

Cant find where i can change color of my active tab.

Color change after exporting from Lightroom

I noticed a drastic color change after exporting a file from Lightroom to a JPEG file today. I have been using Lightroom for a while, and it never happened before. I am assuming that I changed the setting somehow and I cannot find how to fix it.
Here is the original.
After exporting to a JPEG. The color is so drastically different. I tried both sRGB and AdobeRGB and they turn out to have the same problem.
It is not as clear as JPEG files, but edited files with Photoshop CS5 also looks slightly different viewed on Lightroom.
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me. Thank you so much for your help!

I somehow can't find XMP sidecar files in my folders.... So instead, I exported the JPEG file to the 2nd JPEG file, hoping you can compare those two JPEG files.
The colors get lighter and lighter every time I export the files. I uploaded those files (RAW, 1st JPEG, 2nd JPEG) on line. I also changed the file samples from the original post because I can't add watermarks.
I checked my flles, but there is no preset applied to the JPEGs.
I am thinking of unistallng Lightroom and reinstalling it and see what happens.

Let's get to the bottom of this issue, first please confirm your phone model; your mention that you have the iPhone 5 but your post is on the iPhone 5S forum. Also, share the iOS version currently installed on your phone. What is your ZIP code? Does this happen mainly while you make/receive calls from a particular location (home, office, etc)?
