Hey guys, I have a slight problem. The problem is, I got a mac from a friend of mine, who I really can't talk to because he's mad at me. He baught this Mac, and I got it fully installed. Problem is, I don't have an installation disk, and I want to update iMovie, but it's still under his account, and I don't know the password. Every time I wan't to update it, it sais, there are updates on another account, and I don't know what to do. Do I really have to delete the app, and then buy it again?
I hope you understand enough from my bad English, and the dutch picture...

Yes, you really do have to delete iMovie and purchase it again through your own Apple ID. Your friend cannot transfer any apps he purchased through the Mac App Store to you, so you will similarly have to delete and repurchase any other apps from the Mac App Store. This includes Mac OS X 10.7, if it was not included with the iMac when it shipped form Apple.

The problem I had was tI could't get to my email on my Ipad it kept asking for the password no matter how many times I changed the password , what did help me was to clear the internet Cache and Cookies , that worked

Purchases are locked to the account that purchased them. Thus first try to recovery use of the original account.

Just to make sure, open Mac App Store and click Purchases. Can you pause the download and restart it?

Apple does not offer any sort of ibooks/epub reader for OSX , but there are 3rd party apps available and even freeware to import/export from pdf into epub,mobi,kindle and vice versa ( google "calibre" +"epub" ) . I personally love this Mac app called "BookReader" ( MacAppStore ) , which resembles the iOS ibook experience to the best in my oppinion . If Apple would have had such a tool it would most certainly be of this sort :
