Change auc from investement internal order

hi sap experts,
my client has created one internal order with investment profile and assign in auc and now he wants to change the respective auc from internal order.
for example
They created one Internal order as 70000500 with investment profile
earlier they have assigned auc as 5000035 and now they want to change the auc as 5000044.
i would request to all please guide me how to change the Auc from Internal order .
regards
syamala

Hi All
I believe you cannot change the AUC in KO02 transaction once you have already settled.
There is an option Block/Delete but it was greyed (disabled).
Usually you create the investment order (KO01) and soonafter the AUC and they are linked forever, until the full settlement to asset.
Well if you really need to transfer the expense from the original AUC to the other AUC you could try the Line Item Apportinment.
1-Run KO88 to settle all expenses to original AUC.
2-Run KO88, menu Environment - Line Item Apportinment, update settlement rule for preliminary and try.
In my box, it was not allowed to settled for AUC, maybe for your box is configured.
I dont know if maybe by the FI-AA side you can fix it.

  • Settling investment internal orders to an asset (AA310 msg)

    hi.
I am wondering if somebody can shed some light for me on the following:
let's say we have 2 investment internal orders (representing 2 different projects) which are to be settled to one asset.
for the 1st order the job was done and the status changed to TECO in 2010. Upon full settlement (KO8G, full ) the cost has been settled to an asset (from AuC) and the asset has been capitalized. the capitalization (aquisition) date was set to the end of the period (e.g. Dec 31, 2010).
the status of the 2nd order has been changed to TECO in 2011. Currently when I'm trying to do a full settlement of the 2nd IO (with KO8G, partial capilazation) I'm getting AA310 (asset value date in diff year) as far as the system is trying to default the asset value date to date when the IO status was chagned to TECO (2011).  I do not want to default the asset value date on the KOG8 screen.
The question - what is wrong in my approach and what should I do in the case I have a second investment orders to settle to a final asset.
Sorry if I was not clear, i'm primarly an abaper but trying to understand some business processes related to internal orders and settlement. any information to understand this relationship would be appreciated.
    thank you,
    viktor

    Creation of Internal Order- KO01
Maintain Settlement receiver as the AUC asset
    Settle the Internal Order- KO88
Now the values have come to AUC asset
    Distribution of AUC- AIAB
Enter the Settlement receiver as the Main Asset
    Settlement of AUC- AIBU

  • Report Writer Missing Data for Cost Center+Investment Internal Order

    Hi Gurus,
I have met a problem on Report writer. T-code KSBB -> Report for Cost Center Group by Cost Elements in diff months.
The report can be drilled down to call KSB1 to give line items on the cost element by cost center/group.
The problem is the drill-down report missed the line items for investment orders. ( Compared with manually use KSB1)
The overhead internal order line items are fine.
    For example, document 001-Apr:
    Dr. Cost Element 1009                 $900  -- BA 90  Cost Center 90000 Investment order 9001
         Cr. Other cost elements.                  $900
    Document 002-Apr
    Dr. Cost Element 1009                 $800 -- BA90 Cost Center 90000 Overhead order 7001
         Cr. Other cost elements                      $800
In KSBB report, the cost center group for 90000 in cost element 1009 in Apr only has $800.
And the drilled down report which called KSB1 has the line item for docuemnt 002.
However, when I run KSB1 directly, the total amount for cost element 1009 in cost center 90000 is $1700.
    Here is what I checked:
    1. I have my ABAPer checked the KSBB program and KSB1 program to debug them in DEV ( DEV and PRD has the same problem). The different to get the data is that in KSB1, it has selected a value type 11 ( Googled: field name is WRTTP, Down payments as expenses. In program: WRTTP means Statistically Actual ) and 04 ( Googled: Actual True Posting. In program: 04 in WRTTP means Actual posting).
But in KSBB, it only select 04 when I clicked the drill down report to call KSB1.
    2. I am thinking that the cause was on different types of internal order:
Overhead internal orders are statistical orders.  Investment orders are actual orders.
Could you help to throw some light on the problem?
    Thank you very much.
    Emma

    Hi,
Cost Centre vise Report you can take from KSB1
Internal Order Vise Report you can take fro KOB1

  • Stock against investment internal order - reg

    Hello,
Our client wants to use  investment internal order functionality (AUC---> FIXED ASSET).
I have few queries regarding this functionality:
    a) Can we  keep a stock of the material we are going to procure for capitalization.
    b) how we could maintain stock of the procured but not yet issued.
    Early response is greatly appreciated.
    Kapoor

When you want to do this you need to use PS.  An other option is to create a PM order for this and settle the costs to your investment internal order

  • Unable to change the status of Internal order.......

    Hi,
I am trying to change the status of Internal order from Technically completed to Release. But i am getting an error that ---Status REL is not allowed (order 4564564).
We have created this order and till now zero value is used of actual budget means we not used even single amount till now for this order and we want to change the status of order from Tech to REL again.
    Is it possible.
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    R.

    Hello,
You can release the Order by the following method:
    Go to KO02
    Enter the Internal Order name
    Go to Control Data Tab
There we have one screen area as Status: there we have one push button(like); click it and from there you can set the staus of the internal order to Released(or you can also change the current status of the internal order)
Please let me know if you I am missing something in my reply.
    Thanks,

  • GL account to  be changed so that the Internal Order field is mandatory

    Hello,
We wand GL account to  be changed so that the Internal Order field is mandatory?  Nothing should be posted to this account without an Internal order and therefore, if this was a mandatory field people would be forced to put the Internal order # in up front rather than forgetting to add it in.
    The account is P&L account.
Please let us know how to configure this?
    BR,
    Zulfikar

Hi, other than setting the GL account as a cost element, you can assign a field status group that has internal order as a mandatory field.
In spro, go to Financial accounting global setting > Document > Line item > Controls > Maintain Field Satus Variant.
Select the Field status group that you want to change or you can copy any standard group and rename it as a new group. In the group, you will need to go to "Additional Account Assignment". Change CO/PP order to become "Required Entry".
    Hope this helps.

  • AUC settings with Internal Order

    Hi,
Can you please give me the steps of AUC setting with Internal Order.
    Regards
    Abhi

    1) KO01
The Process of AUC settlement in SAP  is create a capital order ( KO01), within the order on the top  go to extras and then asset under construction, create AUC using Asset class for AUC.
    2) KO21
Then you can budget that asset in KO21.
    3) KO02 :- Release the order
    4) Make posting to the order
    5) KO88 Settle the order  to AUC
    6) KO02 add a fixed asset  to the settlement to rule to which you want to settle AUC
    7) KO88 again and do a settlemet to the fixed asset.
    Hope this helps.

  • AUC from Investment measure can't settle to the completed asset partially.

    Dear.
I using IM module and AUC which made from Investment measure.
and I post cost to Investment order and settle to AUC periodically.
Some amount In nvestment order should be tranfer to the completed asset. so remained amount in that should be keep going on.
But, Investment order settlement rule only can be maintained by FULL settlement method.
It means, all amount that accumulated in Investment order must be settled.
What I want to do is the partial amount settle to the completed asset and remains left in investment order.
Of course, this investment order keep its function as collect the amount of AUC.
    How can It be?

    Hi,
Use KOB5 - Give the settlement rule - mention the required amount and asset code
Use KO88 and settle the asset by selecting Settlement Type - Partial Settlement

  • Settlement rule copied from reference internal order

    Hi
How to manage that no settlemnt rule will be copied from reference order into the new internal order I´m creating in transaction KO01? Is it a configuration issue?
    Please advise.
    Anna

    HI,
the reason for creating an internal order "with reference" is to transfer all infos to the new order (even the settlement rule). So after "creation with reference" the settlement rule is copied. If its not the one you need:
1: take a reference order that fits your requirement.
2: for order creation without reference use a "model" order, this "model" order can be assigned to the order type in T-code KOT2_OPA and works similar as a reference, but if the model order does not contain a settlement rule, the created order also does not).
3: change/delete the created settlement rule from the new order.
    Best regards, Christian

  • Change Profit Center in Internal Order

    Hi Experts,
How can I change a profit centre in an internal order? I cannot change it I have an error message.
    What are the procedures/best practices?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Catherine.

    Hi,
If you will change the status of message id KO367 from Error to Warning in Configuretion, you will be able to change the Profit centre.
When you change the profit center, the last period should be settled and since then no more postings should have been made.
For the new assignment, only the new order values on the profit center you are now assigning to are posted.
    Hope it will help.

  • Transfering from one Internal Order to another Internal order

    Hi
I need to transfer part of internal order from one location to another internal order to a different location (not physically, but in the system). Budget is only one
Can somebody let me know if we have this functionality in the Controlling. Each Internal Order is assigned to different CWIP.
    Prasad

I want to transfer the Budget and Actuals also. The actual scenario is like this:
We have a budget for 10lakhs. We purchased some materials. Please remeber this is CWIP related thru internal order. Part of the Budget is used (for 1 lakh) and purchased material against this. Part of this material purchased say 40000 is to be transfered to another location Physically, for similar activity.
As a i am transfering this material, part of my internal order is also has to be transfered to the other location, but remember the budget will be the same.
So I need to transfer actuals and budget to another location.
