Change Background on my screens

Does anyone Know if their is a way to changes my ipone background to black like found under the accessibilty
features, But keep my icons form turning to a negitive color
I want to have normal looking icons
Mark

If I understand what you are attempting to achieve. Normal looking app icons and inverted colors within the apps like Reminders or Safari. For that he best you can do is go to the Accessibility menu and scroll all the way down. In the Triple-Click Home option set it to Invert Colors. Now when you enter an app that you want the feature triple-click the Home button to activate the feature, when you exit the app triple-click the Home button to change back.

  • Change background of "unlock" screen after iMac is idle

My iMac is set to require password to "unlock" after it has been sitting idle for a while. When the mouse or a key is moved/pressed, the password box appears with a plain black or dark gray background.
I would like to change that color to one that will illuminate whomever has moved the mouse or pressed a key when it might be dark, to aid in video security for the computer.
Does anyone know how this color or graphic might be changed?

See these links for Mavericks. It might work in Lion as well.

How do we change the Yosemite lock-screen background?
Would like it to match our desktop.
At present, lock-screen appears to be a blurred version of one of the standard Yosemite desktops.

It typically uses your Screen Saver definition in System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Screen Saver tab.
    Or I'm misunderstanding the question...

  • [Solved] Change default leaf background when unlocking screen in Gnome

This is kinda silly, but how do I change the default desktop background when unlocking screen in gnome?, its always that annoying green leaf background, how can I make it my wallpaper instead?

See the Gnome_Tips wiki article which contains the answer to this and other questions
    Change the Default Background Image
The default background is that zoomed in picture of a green leaf. It appears for newly created users, but more importantly, this is the image shown when the screen is locked. As of 25-Apr-2009, you can find this image here
    /usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/background-default.jpg
To change it, simply copy your favorite image to this locate (as root) and rename it.

  • How to change background color in mail messages?

Capacity to change background colours seems to have been removed.  Has anyone found where to do this please???

It's still available in Lion's version of Mail.
Open a New Message window in Mail. Then select Show Fonts from the Format menu.
In the Fonts screen, click the button for Document Color; a clor selection window will open. In that, choose the color you want for background.
Note - if you do this before entering any text in the New Message, you can save it as a Stationery item, which means you can select it from the Stationery menu in the future, saving many steps.

  • In imovie, I have greenscreen clip.  First I want to change background to solid color THEN add a picture within picture.  When I try to stack all 3, I get two but not all three.....help!  thanks!

in imovie 10.0.2, i have a green screen clip.  first i want to change background - solid color probably - but then i'd like to also add a picture within picture along side the video....have attempted to "stack" all three, and can get two out of three but not all three....what's the trick?  thanks!

In iMovie you can only do two at a time. So the work-around would be to do the green screen/change background color part. Then Share this. Then import this piece back into an event. Then add the picture in picture.
In Final Cut Pro X, you could easily do what you are describing.
The main reason is that iMovie does all rendering in one pass. Final Cut Pro X allows multiple renders as you go along, so you can do much more complex effects.

  • How to change background in bulk

    Hi All,
I have made simulation type project in English version using Captivate 4. Now, I want to develop this project in multilingual. I can change the caption text easily using the export command. But I want to change the background for multilingual.
Do you have any idea about it.
    Regards,
    Manshu

If you have a lot of slides that share the same single background, you can change that background on multiple slides at once by:
In Edit view, with the Filmstrip pane visible, hold down the CTRL key and click on each slide in the Filmstrip pane you want to change.
Right-click one of the selected slides and choose Properties.
On the Properties dialog, click the Change Background Image button and select the desired background.
Result:  The background you choose will be applied to each of the slides selected in the Filmstrip pane.
A better approach is to build your original project by importing external images into your project and then using the Update feature in the Captivate library to replace all your images with "localized language" versions.
The advantage of using imported images is that Captivate "remembers" the folder location of each image and you can easily tell Captivate to reimport those images at any time:
Capture all your images using dedicated screen capture software (the Snipping tool included in Windows 7 will work).  Save each image to a folder on your hard drive (or folders, if you want to be super organized) using meaningful file names to allow you to easily identify and update each image later.
Build your initial Captivate project by importing each image from your hard drive.
Make a backup copy of the original images on your hard drive.
Overwrite the original images on your hard drive with "localized language" versions, using the exact same file names.
In Captivate, select all the images in your Library that you want to update.
Right-click one of the selected images and choose Update.
    Click the Update button.
Save the updated project with a new file name that reflects the new language.
Result:  Captivate replaces all the selected images with the updated versions from your hard drive.
If you haven't already been using imported images in your project, you can start by importing an initial set of localized images and then use the Overwrite and Update trick for each successive language.
In a pinch, you can also capture all your images using Captivate, but this requires you to first export the images from the Captivate Library to a folder, then reimport them one at a time from the hard drive to establish the "folder path" that Captivate needs for the Update feature to work.
    Cheers,
    John

  • How to Change Background Colour in Q10?

Is there a way to change background colours for Contacts and Calendar from dark to white in Q10?  Thanks.

    Good day
    Welcome to BB forums
I don't know what you mean for contact color but here is the info for Calendar info you asked for!
Change the color for a calendar
Each calendar that you add to your device is assigned a color to help you differentiate between events. You can customize the colors of your calendars to suit your taste.
In the Calendar app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    Tap  Settings > Calendar Colors.
    Tap a calendar.
    Tap a color.

I have done a Safe startup and it seemed to improve the lag in the track pad, but the startup screen is the same light grey.
    Any suggestions

Sorry no one followed up on this there is no simple way supported by Apple to change this, short of entering some commands in Terminal.
But like this article shows you can swap out the image file for another one in /System/Library/Core Services:
    http://osxdaily.com/2010/01/25/change-the-mac-login-screen-background/
There is a file called DefaultDesktop.jpg, rename it and put a new one in and try it out!

how to change font size on screen

I'm not certain what font sizes you wish to change, when on a page you can use command and the += button to zoom in and make the fonts larger. On the finder desktop you can make what ever is on the desktop larger or smaller from the finder menu click view, custom view options, and adjust the icon size with the slider on the top, and the text using the text size box to select the size that your comfortable with.
    Forgot to add these.

  • How to change background color in AutoComplete window ?

Is it possible to change background color in AutoComplete window ?

Bob, A.Ankit, you're both chasing a ghost here.
The screenshot shows an autocomplete enabled textbox with its dropdown list of autocomplete values to choose from. There is no property defining its backcolor. Not in the textbox nor in any class, neither any other baseclass nor _combobox of _base.vcx
The only way to chnage that color is not recommended, via changing windows theme colors. That would effect any window and control.
If you need another color even turning off themes won't help as VFP doesn't offer any property controlling that color, so you really would need to implement the autocomplete feature yourself, if you want the specify this backcolor.

  • How to change background color in online editor

How to change background color in online editor

    Jeff,
if you try to change all the plsql keywords to the same background color (that is not either white or black or blue) via the options panel in SQL Developer (Code Editor > PLSQL syntax colors), you will get the new background color in the worksheet only for the areas with plsql text, while the areas without any text will have the same background color as the base color scheme you started with. This means that there is no way to change the "general background" color via the options panel, but you have to use the same background color of one of the predefined color schemes.
This seems to me a bug, but probably it's not considered high priority, so it will not be fixed for the time being.
I would like to stress the fact that being able to change the color scheme of the development environment that you use every day about 8 hours a day can make quite a difference on your eyes at the end of the day.
    Thanks,
    Paolo
