Change Bankfile name outgoing and incomming.

Hello everybody,
I like the possibility to set a default filename and location for the filename of Bankfiles pro Bank.
At this moment every time I export a payment file for the Rabobank with the Payment Wizard I have to change the filename. Rabobank reads only the file "CLIEOP03." or "A??BTL91." for Foreign Payments.
For importing bank files in SBO 2007 the default filename extension is *.txt, the Rabobank exports the file *.asc.
I think this is a useful Development Request.

I've just installed ios 7.0.6 on my iphone 4 and now lost voice on outgoing and incoming calls.It rings on incoming and I'm told rings on the recipient's 'phone, but then no vocal communication...its just dead. My simm is ok, i've checked it, I've done a full clean and restore of the 'phone. Still no calls.
I've not caused any physical or water damage to the 'phone. I would welcome any help/suggestions to get my calls back asap.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
Also consider deleting and reinstalling the Mail Account in question.

That is why. If you take the time to go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive. Then uncheck everything but the phone number for each particular device, you should be alright after that.

Tried to change short name..and now it's weird.

I apologize if this is in the wrong area, and I hope it's not. I'm new here.
So I read on how to change the Short name, and it says I had to enable root account but because the mac Update awhile ago disabled being able to manage the enable/disable option under the disc utility, I had to use Terminal to type the "sudo passwd root. After that, I logged out of my admin account and into my root account, and I went in "users", clicked the name under the "home" icon {my short name} and changed it to something else. But it didn't really "delete" my old one. All it did when I logged back on is simply removed all the files from the "home" under Places and a new folder is created.
I don't know if it makes sense. You know the little "home" icon with your short name under it? I want to change the name for that, but changing it just creates a new folder, and now I don't know how to disable root again. Any help would be great thanks!

Welcome to Apple's discussion groups.
If all you did was to change the name of that user in the Accounts panel, then you didn't do the whole job, as (I believe) that account's home folder would still have the old short name. I'd log into "root" again and navigate to the /Users folder. Rename the "new" folder to something else to get it out of the way, then rename the old home folder to the new short name. Now see if things are the way you want them.

Downsides of changing owner name, Long and short?

I have a bunch of Macs and I am thinking of changing their names both the "official" long name and the nickname (short) name. With Leopard it is now possible to change not only the short name but also the home directory and even user and group ids (501, etc)
I know that TM will most likely create a new backup since it is based on the computer name.
Other than that, what can I expect to happen?
Basically, when I got my new MBP I did the Setup Assistant thing, so two computers had the same name.
Later when I networked them, one was changed to Same Name (2) which is fine. And nothing happened.
But these two boxes still have the same short name.
Again, if I change one to a different short name, what happens? Boom! or simply BSD takes care of the various ownerships and such and it becomes a transparent change?

That UID you refer to, is that that very long number UUID? Or is that something else again?
Actually I think I can leave the short name the same and only change the sharing name, which is what is seen on the network.
Lastly, I hope, what if I were to change the User Name in the User Preferences? I know that the default sharing name is based on this by adding an " 's " and the word Computer.
On the other hand, perhaps the main User Name is not important for what I want to do which is primarily to have unique names on the network rather than the ugly "X Y's Computer (2)" which is what happened the first time I connected them
With TM, I trust that anything I do that is not a good thing can be remedied by using the Wayback Machine.

Can I assume that there isn't any physical or liquid damage on the iPhone 5? Recently, there has been an update to the iPhone to iOS 7. If you have done this update then please provide the exact carrier version that's installed. Keep in mind that there is a difference in device performance between iOS 7 and the iOS 7 beta version. As you share this info, I will check the area to re-affirm that the issue is or is not network related.

Change database name - Crystal10 and Visual Studio 2005

Hi there,

I have about 150 crystal reports in my development environment. I need to move them into the testing environment. Every environment has its own database and every database is names '[client name]_[environment]' so I get things like client1_dev, client1_test, client1_prod, etc. The reports are very, very unhappy when moving from dev to test. I have googled this a fair bit and have attempted the stuff on:

- this one always errors out with a can't find database type connection and spits out the old database message. 
- as you can see there is a stack of tracing in there. all of the trace messages make it look like it is hitting the right database. I have no clue why this isn't working. 
 
Idea 2 - fix up reports before moving to the other environments: 
- I figured I would write a little app that would crawl through the directories of reports and fix them up 
- I read a few examples of this online and none of them seem to work with Crystal 10. They work with some of our legacy Crystal 8 reports (I have been testing this all over the place) but not with 10.

This is a typical requirement of most application and is relatively trivial to implement. There are a lot of samples and documentation on our support site (links below). Also, search these forums for code snippets that will help you. BTW., do not use the craxDDrt.dll as you are not licensed to use it.

Change domain name clients and server

Hello,
I want to change the domain name from eg ".vancouver.gov" to ".vancouver.local" on all of our devices in the network. Zcm has been installed with ".vancouver.gov" and the clients also are registered with ".vancouver.gov". When i change the domain name on the workstations and change the corresponding dns entries of the workstations to ".vancouver.gov" i cannot register workstations anymore and wol does not work anymore. Distributing applications to the workstation does work.
Anybody now how to accomplish this change.
We have about 400 workstations and 1 zcm 10.3.3 server.

I would recommend an SR.
Changing the DNS of Devices should not impact any of that, so long as
the clients can still properly resolve the servers and you are not
destroying the old DNS zone.
This may indicate that the CA/Server CERTs do not have the fullied
qualified DNS name of the server but perhaps just the short name.
Also, I would not recommend attempting to fix any certs right away, but
rather using the "Additional DNS Name" setting on your server, since
changing a Cert could cause lots for work on client PCs.
Later versions of ZCM make changing server certs a little easier but for
10.3.3, I would just use the server setting instead of a change.
But since I suspect you can create an SR as most government accounts
can, it may be simplest to go that route but keep my thoughts avoiding
any cert rebuilds in mind if there is any issue with the names in the
server cert.

Print Credit Cards details on outgoing and incoming payments layout

Dear all,
I need to print on the incoming and outgoing payments layout, the details of the credit cards registered.
The problem is that in the PLD, the corresponding tables RCT3 and VPM3 are not accessible.
Do you know a way to achieve it?
Is Crystal Report the solution?

Change name adress and password

On a new computor, how do I change the name address and password for what it was? This is in an Ibook G4 wirh OSX tiger.

Are you asking about how to change the User Account info? Say to sell it or get rid of it?
Open System Preferences>Accounts, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account. Then delete the old account with the minus icon there in that same pref pane if there's no info or files you need from that old account.
Then use Disk Utility to Secure erase the free space.

Mail: outgoing and now incoming mail server rejects password

Hello all. Hope you can help with this one.
I was using Mail as normal yesterday. I use the same incoming mail server and SMTP server (my university's Exchange server). Then sending mail suddenly failed. The error message I get is:
The SMTP server “exch.wlv.ac.uk” rejected the password for user “(null)”
Enter your password again or cancel.
The settings are port 995 for outgoing mail, using SSL and requiring password authentication.
I've verified my settings and passwords with IT support. They say they haven't altered anything, and nor have I.
I've tried Connection Doctor: it says Mail connected with the exch. server without any problems. However, under Account Information, the server says (offline).
I've changed ports (to 25 and 587): no success.
I've deleted my password from Keychain and Mail plist and reentered it. No success.
I've verified and repaired permissions.
I'm now not getting incoming mail either: the error message is
There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “Staff POP” or try again.
The server returned the error: The connection to host exch.wlv.ac.uk on port 25 failed.
I can send and receive using web-based OWA.
Is there anything else I can do, or is it a server problem?

May be no help to you Aidan except comfort in numbers. Mail has started behaving erratically for me in the past week. My inbox and account mail has disappeared and my accounts keep being rejected by the webmail host similar to your problem; password rejected etc. Then Mail closes abruptly telling me there's a problem and offering to send a report to Apple. Mail is version 4.5 and the iMac is 10.6.8. Help!

I tried to change the name of my device and now I cant sync anything and it says there is a problem with the disk and when I changed the name back it still said the same thing so I restored my ipod (not from itunes but on the ipod itsself)

And now its saying my ipod is corrupt. None of my stuff was erased from itunes it was only erased from my ipod so why am I not able to just sync everything back onto my ipod? why is it doing this now? I think this is ridiculous that just changing one name would do this much damage.

There is a backup plan after doing the Restore. Read this.
