Change Behavior of VL34.

Hello Experts:
I use Vl34 since you can create large volumes of Inbound deliveries at once, However, VL34 split Inbound deliveries based on delivery date in PO Items, this is problematic, more at the GR time (Using IDOCs in DWM enviroment), therefore I would like to reduce the number of Inbound deliveries generated for each PO, in this case ignoring the split for delivery dates.
Has anyone done something like this before, can you share some tips / Tools, like userexits, FM, etc.

Default entry for Folder property - Changed behavior in SP14???

Hello,
Has anyone run into changed behavior for this page property in SP14. It seems to be valid for pages in both folders and worksets.
Ex. We have a workset that sits at 2nd level nav just below a 1st level entry point. So the workset is a 2nd level nav choice. The top page in that workset is the landing page for that nav and previously in SP9 the nav worked fine. We are finding now that in SP14 we have to set the Default Entry for Folder property to "yes" to make the 2nd level nav work. This could be another config issue in our environments but is following SP14 so far. Has anyone else sen this?

If you click on folder A, you get the content of page A which for the end-user is not explicitely visible in navigation. So page A "is" the content of folder A.
This is how web-like nav works, that you can click on a nav entry and that this entry has it's own content and not only the preset content of some sub entry.

How to change behavior of Select tag onKeyPress event

I am populating a netui:select dropdown with a list of around 1200 items. Since it is so long, I would like to allow the user to type in the box to get close to their selection. Right now, the default behavior is to allow only one character to be typed to locate an item.
I would like to change the behavior so that when the user quickly types three characters (or more), it matches the selection to the three that they typed. It seems to be firing on the onKeyPress event. Is there anyway to modify this?

Then if you dont want any error if there is no text in the corresponding text then CHECK the check box "No errors if no text available.

Changing behaviors on library items

I currently have a header as a library item. The buttons all
have pop-up menus and I am trying to edit them. I used the help
through Dreamweaver and it said to open a page that contains the
library item and detach it - make the changes then re-save the
library sections. I tried that and when I click on the "Shoe Pop-up
Menu" on the behavior tab I get the following error message:

A well-formed library item cannot have a behavior *in* it. It
can reference
a behavior with a call to it, e.g.,
<a onClick="MM_swapImage....
but it cannot actually CONTAIN a behavior. Why? Because that
would mean
that it would have to have <html>, <head>, and
<body> tags and Library items
just cannot contain those. Why? Because since a Library item
is inserted
into another page, if it contained those tags, they would
then be duplicated
on the other page.
So - your Library item is not well formed, i.e., it's broken.

Library item, and it
contains an even more broken menu system. Is it too late to
reconsider

Changed behavior of home and end button

Hi
I have a problem with the behavior of the Home, End, PgUp, PgDn and the arrow keys. After I upgraded to version 6 they do not work as expected.
I have disabled every extension and the behavior is still the same...
They work as expected in IE8.
I hope someone have a solution.

Make sure NumLk is not engaged, as the Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn keys are often superimposed on the numeric keypad. There should be keyboard light for NumLk.
Press F7 to turn caret browsing on or off, you want it off. Test after changing.

spilled something on my macbook (osx 10.9.3) and only the left shift key doesn't work. is there a software where i can change the behavior of the fn key which i dont use to serve as my shift key?

Tab Bar Right click changed behavior

When right clicking on the tab bar in FF 4, I get the toolbar customization menu. In previous versions, I'd get a menu that included options for tabs (i.e. new tab, reopen closed tabs, etc). In FF4, this menu is only on existing tabs.
Is it possible to get the old behavior back?

Why can't this be fixed. Firefox 4 is horrible and changed everything. No one wants it this way. You don't just change stuff to make it not work the same because ONE geek wants it changed. You are losing typical users by doing this. Can you simply update FFx3.6 and release it as, say 3.7 for those of us who don't want all these changes? Plus, please change your release schedule to once every 3 to 4 years, I'm tired of seeing this "surprise" update stuff all the time, I hate updates especially when they break everything. THANKS

How to *disable* or change behavior of brightness keys

Hi there!
I own a HP laptop with a dual Nvidia/Intel graphic card, with propietary drivers & bumblebee installed, and everything works perfect but brightness buttons.
In fact, they work, but not as they should. When I press the brightness up button, it raises, but it does it a lot. If I press it again, the brightness sets to its maximum value when the progress bar it shows is on ~20%
This is my theory of what's going on:
I have 3 folders on `/sys/class/backlight`:
[root@Archpv3 backlight]# ls
acpi_video0 acpi_video1 intel_backlight
`acpi_video{0,1}` are, if not identical, equivalent: All the files inside them are equal. `intel_backlight` is different.
`acpi_video{0,1}/max_brightness` is 100. But, experimentally, I have ensured that the actual max_brightness of my screen is 20.
My theory is that, the thing listening on brightness buttons (and not, its not acpid), gets the maximum value from `acpi_video{0,1}/max_brightness`, and when I press a brighness button, it raises it to `acpi_video{0,1}/max_brightness`/10.
There may be three solutions to this: Change the `max_brightness` to 20 by machete, or change the step by machete too. Other solution will be to tell the thing I want it to use `intel_backlight`.
I dont' know how to do anyone of these because I still don't know what the hell is listening that events :\
So, finally, and sorry for such a big intro, does anyone knows?

Thanks for getting back to me. you are right , i should disable the link as soon as it is clicked. I went ahead and implemented this logic by using a property in my bean class and binding that property to the value of my link. I wrote the logic in my action method in such a way that when i click on follow for the first time, the value of the link would change to 'Following' and the link would be disabled. It works for me now.

How to Change behavior of standard text object&text ID (SE75)?

For standard text object C_SHES_ACH & ID 0001 (EHS: IHS Safety Measures) wichs is used as a description for safety measures (CBIH82/CBIH02..) need that when the user create or edit the text, already appears a "Fill in the blanks" form.
For example, in CBIH82, editing an accident log, I go to Safety measures Button, then create a safety meassure, and when i click for long text description something like this should appear:

Disabling 'Open movies in new players' option doesn't change behavior. Fix?

I have the 'Open movies in new players' option under General->Preferences unchecked, but .mov files always play in new players anyway, ignoring the setting. This behavior has been present for me in all 7.x versions of Quicktime player. Does anyone know of a solution to this?
(I see from a quite a few searches that this question has come up before, but it appears to have remained unanswered. My apologies if I've missed a solution.)

Unable to get conclusive word that this problem has been in all QuickTime 7.x. But it does work in 6.x. One thing I noticed is that if I open the player alone (no movie) the banner across the top says "Untitled 2" instead of Untitled. I have searched the registry and internet for help. Obviously uninstalled & reinstalled. Manually removed QuickTime from registry and installed again, etc. Unable to get anything conclusive. If this is an Apple bug, EVERYONE should have this problem (on PCs). Can others please try this out and report back here. Opening in new players is very undesireable. Thanks

Change behavior of 'Please select a forum ...' box in updated left rail

I like the recent change to the selected forums that are displayed in the left rail. However, I think that it would be helpful for the action of clicking on the 'Please select a forum ...' box to be similar to what happens when you click on the [ view all
] link, rather than expanding into a list view.
If you'd rather keep the list view (which is fine by me), I think it would be helpful for the forum information card to appear if you mouse over the forum name. I believe that this will help people find the proper forum when they are looking for forums to
add to their views.

I would have to disagree about the "View all" format. I have always found this format extremely clunky. I prefer the list box.
In fact I do not really see the reason for the "View all" link any more.
But I agree about the mouse-over (provided it has a delay!). Right now the forum information is only displayed by mouse-over
after you have made the selection.
Also, do you think it is entirely obvious that the 'Please select a forum...' box is a search box? I did not realize this at first (but I am notoriously UI-challenged). Perhaps when you first click on the box and the forum list appears, the 'Please select
a forum...' text should disappear and a "search magnifier" should appear. Maybe also, clicking in the box should toggle between the selected list and selectable list. Currently you have to click outside the box in order to see the selected list.

Changing blend mode changes behavior

I'm trying to have words grow from very small to "swallow up" the screen—all while using them as stencils through which we see water. With me so far? Anyway, the motion is perfect when the blend mode is on normal, but when I simply change the blend mode to Stencil Alpha, at a certain point, it starts moving sharply to the right. All I've done is change blending modes, honest.
Who knows what the h-e-double hockey sticks this is, and, how to fix it? This is maddening.

This is just a guess, as I haven't seen your project, but I think the text is sliding because it is too large for your GPU, so it's getting cropped and recentered.
Why is it happening when you change the blend mode? Good question. I think it's because picking any blend mode but 'Normal' is causing a pre-comp, and since your GPU's size limit is being exceeded, it's cropping (and recentering) the result. Or maybe it's a bug.
Here's a workaround to try: nest the text in its own layer, enable Fixed Resolution for the layer (found in the Layer tab in the Inspector, when the layer is selected), and then change the blend mode of the layer to whatever you want.
Seriously, though, you really should be using (as Patrick suggested) the Image Mask tool, instead of the Stencil Alpha blend mode. Free yourself from the AE-style blend mode tyranny! Vive la image mask!

CS4- CS5: changed behavior in file handling with points (".")

... oh, no, it's horrible -- new version, new problems
I have such file names: 1_xxx_26.08.10.jpg, 2_xxx_26.08.10.jpg, ...
I am creating an action which saves this file in a specific directory (after several editing steps) by using e.g. the first file and "Save for web".
I want to execute this action via batch processing on all these files.
Now the changed behaviour in CS5: all the files were saved as "1_xxx_26.08.jpg" in my selected directory and not as several files with the "old" file name. Only files without "my points", e.g. "1_test.jpg" where saved correctly -- as it was in CS4.
Example action:
-> "save vor web" doesn't use only the target directory to save the file with their own names. Insted they were all saved as "xxx_22.08.jpg"
I don't want to change the name of all my files... so, any ideas?

Yes, with these default settings and with other settings the file name is always xxx_26.08.jpg

I got around "my" problem by using a harmless file name ("temp.jpg") during recording of the action. Now I have only the directory specified in this action command without a filename:

EasyDMS changes behavior after reinstallation

Hi Experts,
we have different behaviour while comparing to identical Workstations when using easyDMS.
On Workstation 1 Function EASYDMS_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 is called after logon,
on the Workstation 2 the function is NOT called after logon.
Both Workstations are identical VMWare Clones and use the same easyDMS Version 7.1.2.4.
The only difference is, that we reinstalled the easyDMS-Client on one of the Workstations
This behavior appeared after upgrading to enhancement package 5 (before there was no EHP installed)
On Workstation 1 easyDMS Client was installed BEFORE EHP Upgrade
On Workstation 2 easyDMS Client was installed AFTER EHP Upgrade
Can someone tell me what Function EASYDMS_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 is used for and why are Workstations behaving different from each other?

generally this special function module was implemented by the SAP note 1285626 from EasyDMS 7.0 SP02 onwards with software component EA-APPL 604 or 605. The aim is to raise performance in EasyDMS.

TS3456 amavisd.conf - file to change behavior of bounced mail

I found useful to know that from 10.8 is this file located here: /Library/Server/Mail/Config/amavisd/amavisd.conf and you can modify it in the same way.

I deleted " /private/var/clamav/daily.inc/daily.mdb" and the other files that were created at the same time. Restarted the machine. Seems this fixed the problem. Somehow this file became corrupted.
I hope this resolved my problem! I'll watch everything for a few days and see.
