Can you please tell me how I can change Bing as the default search engine setting on my browser? I have checked the internet option and account setting. It doesn't seem it can be done.

When you open the tool, on task-bar, right click and click on Pin the program on Task bar.

Downloaded from where? There is no serial number if you downloaded from the App Store.
if you downloaded from the Apple Site and Aperture is installed you can get the serial number from the Preferences pane of Aperture. If it is not installed and you don't have the email sent to you with the serial number you can try Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers

Well, you can't since the emails are stored on icloud's mail server. Try this test, using a computer's browser, log into icloud.com and check the mail page. If they are gone, then they are really gone.
Now, I thought I could go into a Time Machine backup and view old emails from a day ago. Unfortunately, Time Machine doesn't seem to save icloud based email, since regardless of the past date I go to, only the current emails show up, not older ones. My conclusion is that I wouldn 't be able to recover them from a TM backup.
What had you been doing on the mac or device that causes emails to be deleted? (I hope you don't have a family member or friend using the same icloud account - they may have deleted all emails by mistake.)

You got it with that same apple id thing. You can use different apple id's, but then they will not sync. Apple does allow as many free apple id's as you want, but they are in the business to make money.

yesterday I updated logic pro, I have just discovered that my IK Multimedia ARC system has disappeared from the plug in drop down window, can anyone advise how I can get it back. It seems that old logic files where it was previously loaded still have the plug in live, but on a new project file it simply isn't there to select and activate.

Not sure about your issue. What did you update from and to? Is ARC still in the plugins/components folder?
I'm an ARC user too. I have it plugged in to Audio Hijack Pro which is set to hijack audio from Logic. This way ARC is after logic and you don't have to remember to bypass the plugin before you bounce.

I am using Aperture 3 and recently installed an update from Apple. After restarting the computer and opening Aperture all of the "colour" is gone from the toolbar and events icons. How can I rest the colours?

Have you just upgraded to Aperture 3.3 or later? The grey design is a feature, ot a bug

Newly designed monochrome source list and toolbar icons.
The only way to change it, would be to manually replace the icons by colored ones in the Aperture application itself. You would have to patch the application bundle and to exchange some of the tiff files in the "Resources" folder.
And each time there is an update you would have to start over.

I accidentally deleted my account under the Mail, Contacts, Calendars setting. How can i get the account back?

If you don't have an Installer disk then you can't install without a purchase. Do you have the grey SystemRestore disks that came with your Mac? It's on that. No, iPhoto is not part of Lion.

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

Every time I turn iPad on Ive got three films that try to automatically download from the cloud but always fail. How can I cancel or stop this from happening?

A message always pops up saying download failed even though I haven't tried to download them. When I go into iTunes the three films are there as an update with download failed at the side. How do I stop this and just have them in the cloud? I Don't seem to be able to clear it. I also purchased a film by mistake but got it refunded and that also appears in my library from time to time. You could also try logging out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back and see if then works
If not then do a soft-reset and try again : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
And if that doesn't work either then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can remove the films from you download queue : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
