Change business system - how to modify (globally) all scenarios?

Hi,
In our dev box, we had a business system (R/3) called DV5. All of our integrations scenarios are base on that BS.
Now, the name has change to DVX. Is there a way (globally) to change all our scenario (sender/receiver agreements, etc) that are pointing to DV5 to the new one - DVX ?

Well, this is exactly how we were envisioning the solution How ever, we were not sure if there was a way (in the Integration Builder or in the SLD) that would have done the job.

There are many online tutorials on how to change out the HD on a mid 2007 iMac. One of the originals is from 2007 and is Upgrade your iMac 20" or iMac 24" aluminum (mid 2007) to 1TB Hard Drive and 4 GB RAM - DIY Guide. As far as migrating your system Apple helps out with that in Setup Assistant which automatically starts when you turn on a new Mac for the first time. After you have installed the new HD you will have to format the new HD to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and then you will have to install OS X. The first time you turn it on Setup Assistant will start. Follow the directions and you will be fine. In order to restore your information you will need to backup what is on the current internal HD first. I'd recommend using Time Machine (Assuming you are using Leopard or later) AND also creating a bootable clone using either SuperDuper or Carbon Copy Cloner.
Please complete your profile so at the very least we know what version of OS X your machine has installed.

Change Business System

Hi Experts,
We have a Business System (SAP ECC) Bus_A pointing to SAP_A. So all my present objects (channels, Interface Determination, Receiver Determinations, and Agreements) refer to Bus_A in the Sender/ Receiver section.
Now there is a requirement to introduce Business System Bus_B pointing to SAP_B and all the Configuration objects should automatically point to Bus_B.
How should this be done? Please note I am not transporting the messages to any other server/ environment. The objects remain in the DEV system only.

I think there's no way....
You can define the BUS_B like a target system of BUS_A in sld configuration... but the BS change will be avaible only in TXT or PRD system...

Changing Business Systems from Dev to QA

I am trying to transport Integration Directory (Configuration) objects from DEV to QA. Is there a way that I can define my business systems (or something else) so that when I import my ID objects into QA I do not have to go into the Communication Channels to change the sender(s) and receiver(s) of the interface from DEV business systems to QA business systems?

I have not noticed this much, so I am bit doubtful.
It MAY be possible with below conditions
1) If you use CMS and have your transport groups enabled in SLD (for QA, Prod equivalent of Dev)
2) you use the same name for the receiver & sender adapters (common names across scenarios & servers)
3) you do the transport for the SECOND time
what i mean as second time is, suppose there is a scenario to the same business system and you are using a RFC adapter, (which was already configured for someother scenario in your QA)
with all these things, you may anyway have to ACTIVATE (but not configure) after the transports.

Changing Business System

Hi Experts!
What do I need to change in order for changing a Business System in an interface from one to another?
Here is a little more information. I have to change all our interfaces from one R/3 system to another meaning that sometimes the system is sending and sometimes it is receiving. The communication channel is alway using the IDoc Adapter.
I have considered changing the RFC Destination, but I don't like that solution since I will have a Business Systems called e.g. R3_1 but the RFC destination will point to R3_2. This will be very confusing in future maintenance situations.
What do you think?

I had to undergo this recently and the only option was to remove and recreate.
We had to do this for consistency as we are handing over to a different support team...
With Idocs, there were a few issues with adapter specific identifiers, so it was easier to take them out and start again.
Depending on the volume, this may not be a solution...

How to relink globally ALL pages to new index?

indexlayers and that updated all pages of course with it...now how
do I link all my pages to a new page I've called just "index"? I
need a global relink but how do I do it?

Change the name of index to index-z. Then change the name of
indexlayers to
index. Then change the name of index to xindex AND REFUSE TO
UPDATE PAGES.
Then change index-z to index.
Bada bing, bada boom.
Or - do a sitewide find and replace to find all instances of
"indexlayers"
to "index".

Specific Datasource in a source system : how to modify the delta process ?

I have a specific datasource in a Sap CRM5.0 system that sends sales data by year and Business Partner to a Sap BI7 system.
The Delta Process used (AIE After-Images Via Extractor (FI-GL/AP/AR)) do not manage the deletion : if you delete the 2009 sales data for a Business Partner, these data won't be in the CRM system anymore, but they'll remain in the Sap BI7 system after the delta.
My client would like to change the delta process to send the deletions in CRM to BW.
In CRM, when i use the RSA2 transaction, i can display the delta process, but apparently, there's no way to modify it
Moreover, the RSA6 and RSO2 transactions are usefull to modify my datasource, but not directly its delta process.
I found the RSOOSOURCE table where i could manually modify the delta process for my datasource, but it doesn't seem right to do it that way.
Can anyone help ? Is there anyway to modify the delta process for my datasource ? Or will i have to create a new one ?

it is possible to use a global defined variable but the better way is to use to use a funtion call (or procedure call) with parameters. Please find first the good solution for a funcion call with parameter and the sub-optimal way with an global valiable:

Pages 5.2.2 Business Resume: How to modify the Section Layout Margin

I started writing a document using the Business Resume template in Pages 5.2.
On the first page (only) there is a big vertical gap/margin/whitespace between the header and the section.
I was wondering how you can resize the section OR remove that gap.
This gap is only on the first page, and is not applied to the second page.
In previous versions of Pages, you had layout margins, but I can't find them in Pages 5.2

Maybe it would great for Pages to offer the ability to resize sections either with number inputs or dragging the outline.
I made the modifications using Picas suggestions and it works for the first page, but not the second. Good thing I only needed one page in the end.

I updated my 4G to the 5.0 operating system and lost a number of my apps. Is there a way I can restore my Iphone to its last setting from a backup or do I have to manually add each app back? I uses a "TO DO" app with a ton of data on it that I want back on my iPhone

My sons phone did the same thing. Once the update was through and finished syncing he unplugged it and all his apps were missing. He plugged it back up and it resynced using his last back up on the computer. Try just plugging it back up again and manually resyncing it if you have to from the FILE menu.

I've changed my computer, how do i get all my music and films back?

This is actually knid of annoying as I payed for the films and tv series. The music was from cd's, but still annoying. Any help on getting it from my iPhone back onto the computer would be exellent, especialy if it has nothing complicated to do.

Did you backup all your documents and data first? Normally your user profile contains a Music folder which in turn holds the iTunes folder. All the important details of your library are in there, with the media below in a folder called iTunes Media. If you lose this information and then connect your device to an empty iTunes library it will want to clean it out the device and start over.
You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new machine but I've not tested it personally.
