Change caller id no cellphone

I wonbt to change my caller id to a regular phone. I own the number and my operator send it to my cellphone but i can not call from it. Can i chasnge my caller id on skype to this number without sms?

Gordon, it looks like its been a while since you made this post. Not sure how valid it is now...   I am particularly interested in the LigatureLevel.NONE value. It seems that it is no longer supported.
How do I turn of ligatures in the font rendering?
My flex project involves trying to match the font rendering of Apache's Batik rendering of SVG and ligatures have been turned off in that codebase. Is there any way (even roundabout) to turn ligatures off in flash?

Unfortunately this is not possible. There's no settings to change regarding this in the phone. If you would like to answer a incoming call on a hardware key you will have to use a hands free (and press the answer key on the hands free).

C7 - Can I change caller's tone?

Hi, I'm new C7 owner, my phone works fine, but I should change the tone equalization of the built-in earpiece during voice call. This phone has clear sound, but with lower dominant voice spectral components, than my earlier phones. It means too hard to understand some of my partners (even impossible in some cases), with whom were not this problem with other phones.
So, can I change caller's tone with some built-in function or with Ovi application?

Of course you can. Go to the contact you want to modify, click on edit and there is a field inside the contact called "Ringing tone".
By default this option is "Set by profile" so what you have to do is click on it, choose the ringtone, song, etc and that's it.

I used my dada phone while he was away and holiday, and just found out that he wrote down the total call duration before he went away. I have been using his phone and found the paper he wrote it on.

All you can do is reset the call duration, and for that you need the phone's security code.

Change calling plan

We are on a 1400 minute calling plan and are not using nearly as many minutes as we used to. We want to scale back down to 750 minutes. I have been told repeatedly by Verizon I can do this online, but I cannot find where. Under the Plan area of My Verizon it only asks if I want to change messages, Internet spam and other stuff, not my basic plan. It's like finding a needle in a haystack, maybe by design. Can someone plese point me to exactly where I can do this?

Also note if you use a substantial amount of Friends & Family minutes, these will disappear if you lower your plan to the 700 minute plan.
For example, on the 1400 minute plan you receive 10 Friends & Family #s. If you call these numbers for a total of 500 minutes/month and all of your other calls total, lets say, 500 minutes/month, then the minutes usage on the 1400 minute plan would only show up as 500 minutes counted against your allowance.
If you were on the 700 minute plan, you would not get the Friends & Family #s and your usage would show up as 1000 minutes, which would be your entire allowance and 300 minutes of overage minutes for an overage fee of $135 for this month.
Before you make this change, be sure that you will not fall into this category, as this could get very expensive.

You use SE38 to change out the code. When you try and change it you will get a popup asking you for a Key, since you are changing SAP Code. If you have a Developers key you have to go to the SAP Service Marketplace and tell SAP that you are changing this code in order to get they key. After this every time you do support packs you run the risk of this getting overlaid and you will have to change it back, also if you have a problem and SAP sees that you customized this code they probably won't spend any time on your problem.

Online Security - Changing Call Packages

Hello BT Forum,
Just a quick question.
It seemed pretty easy for me to gain access to details of my Mother's call package; I was after was the expiry date of the current contract. All it needed was her telephone number, postcode and a tick in the box.
So what is to stop kindly me or some nefarious person from changing my Mother's call package without her knowledge?
I find it perturbing that access to these details was so easy.

I did use the live chat facility but the BT agent was unable to assist - they do not have access to the full account details. I also tried their telephone call centre but their operator did not have access either, he suggested that I contact their 'new/retention customer' division. There I found out the details of the contract and immediately thereafter the BT Agent tried to persuade me to 'upgrade' the service and that it would be 'stupid' to cancel the current contract.
It seems to me a rather bizarre process to go through to get what is in effect a 'date,' which could easily be written on the monthly bill that is sent. Again I was somewhat amazed at the ease with which I was able to obtain the information but then I do know more details; and perhaps all I was after was an end date.
However, after a little searching I found that rolling contracts are no longer offered by BT (web link noted below). I was advised that the terms of any existing rolling contract is maintained on a 28 day rolling contract. That this contract can be cancelled at any time without penalty. This is the information I need as I am preparing my Mother to be connected to broadband.
So I have the information I need to make a decision about broadband packages.
However, what does not help at this stage is the bombardment of BT advertising literature promoting their Sports Channel with unlimited broadband. I am sure that such a service will appeal to many but to my seventy year old Mother, such a package offers little benefit or incentive.

Unable to change Calling Features

We upgraded our phone and broadband this week and as a result Privacy at Home/Caller Disply is no longer active on our phone line.
When I try to change this online I get a screen saying 'Sorry there has been a technical error'

HI phone sales 0800800150 and ask for it to be re enabled when you change to a package some features get removed as they are not part of the package

How to change Caller ID to nickname?

With the latest update (iOS 7), does anyone know to change the caller id whenever someone calls to the nickname e.g. in my contacts the persons name appears as John Smith but has a nickname as Jonny, under 'Messages' it displays his nickname. How do i get it to do the same thing expect when 'he' calls?

I'm using UCCX 8.5. When there is a call from outside to a contact center and when agent is still ringing, the caller ID presented in the agent is CTI port number of UCCX. I wonder if it is possible to change this CTI port number to outside caller's phone number.

Sorry, but no. This is because CCX does the equivelent of a warm transfer to the agent's ACD line. Until the transfer completes you do not see the original calling party information. You'll want to look at the CAD or IPPA Enterprise Data to see the ANI/Caller ID.
