Change cc account on a single computer

I am trying to change Creative Cloud accounts on my computer. There is an inactive account on my computer, and I get messages that it needs verification but I can't verify it because I'm not the email account holder. I have tried to uninstall and re-install creative cloud. But after re-installing, CC remembers the old account, and the message I get is the same.

Have you tried logging out & logging back of desktop app? Please personally message the inactive Email ID & the order number (if any) in case the issue is not resolved.

  • HT1203 iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer - I tried to use the instructions to configure 2 different windows users sharing the same iTunes library.  I could not get this to work per the instructions.

I tried to configure 2 windows users accounts using a single library per the instructions in HT1203.  My iTunes library is on an external drive.  I cannot get this to work.  Any suggestions?

To give other users read-only access to your iTunes library, use the Sharing features of iTunes. Sharing works over the local network as well as on the same computer. See the built-in help for details.
If you want to give full read/write access to more than one user, see the support article linked below.

There is a way to share the library without moving it to a secondary volume. If you really need to do that, ask for instructions.

  • Sharing Music Between Users Accounts on a Single Computer

I know that you can listen to music belonging to another user account on the same computer (as long as that user remains logged in), however, is there a way to COPY (drag and drop) music from one user account to another user account (on the same computer) similar to how it is done between multiple computers with Home Sharing?

is it possible to set up multiple iTunes accounts on a single computer?

If you do it with a single user account, you will receive update notifications for purchase made on both IDs regardless of which one you're using at the time.  That's slightly frustrating as you get the notification BUT you can't actually update!  In any event, separate user accounts on the computer is the cleaner way to go.

  • Sharing music between different accounts on a single computer

I have read the instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1203 , but I'm still having a problem.
Scenario: Two Ipods, one PC (WinXP), one big music library, originally created and stored directly in C:\My Music, which is accessible to all users of the PC. From my non-admin account, I add folders and files to my itunes library, modify songs and artwork, no problem. Now my son has an iPod, and I would like to be able to share out portions of the C:\My Music library with him. It kind of works. He adds files and folders to his library, on his account, in his itunes. The music is there, but it is somehow protected. No artwork, in fact I get the "artwork is not modifiable" message. Nor can he modify any info in the songs. In a few cases, the artwork comes with the songs, but mostly not. In either case, no info in the songs are modifiable. Neither of our Windows XP user accounts are admin, but why does my account seem to "own" the songs? He's not going to be happy without any artwork in his library or on his ipod.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

It is almost as if the program does not exist on my computer. If I search for it, the only thing that comes up is the installer. I cannot find it anywhere despite the fact I have installed it numerous times, uninstalled it and conducted a fresh install, and the Adobe website checks says that it is installed.

  • Once again! Sharing Music on different accounts on a single computer ?

Somewhere in this forum i got a hint on sharing playlists and music among different (family)users on a single computer.
(How to share music... from "Buegie")
    But it didn't help!!!
I have most of my music stored in folders and mp3-format long before i bought iPod and installed iTunes.
Do I have to copy all THOUSANDS of files into iTunes Music folder, to make the sharing work ???
Or how do I solve this BIG problem ?
I can't accept that such a great program doesn't have that function!
    Thanx for any help!!!

If you want to share the music between users using iTunes, then the song references must be IN iTunes. Somehow that makes sense, no?
You can leave the MP3s in their current folder arrangement, or you can have iTunes copy them into its own folder organization. Sounds like you want the former....
    - Open iTunes
    - Edit=>Preferences=>'Advanced/General' tab
--- ‘Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library’: unchecked
--- ‘Keep iTunes Music folder organized’: unchecked
    - Click OK to accept changes
    - File=>Add Folder
    - Browse to the main folder of your MP3s and select it
    - iTunes will add a reference for all your MP3s you have under that folder
    - Repeat for additional folders you may have
This will only add a song reference within iTunes, not physically copy the song file to another folder of your PC. If you do not have a song reference within iTunes, you can't use/play/sync the song from iTunes.
    Any questions, post back.

  • Managing multiple itunes accounts on a single computer

I have an iPod and an iPad that use a single iTunes account on a certain PC. I have a second iPod that I have setup on a second computer which also has its own separate iTunes account (because at the time I didn't understand you can manage multiple devices from a single account/computer). This second iPod has iPod apps I have purchased from my second iTunes account. I would like to change this and manage my second iPod from my main computer (so everything lives in one place). When I hooked the second iPod up to my main computer I picked the option to "transfer purchases to this computer". It acted like it was doing it, but I noticed nothing transferred. I unplugged the device and plugged it back in, and a dialogue box told me this iPod contained 33 applications that were NOT authorized to play on this computer and would not transfer them. It said I needed to authorize the computer to do that. My PC is already authorized with my main account and I don't want to mess that up. Can I authorize my computer for my second itunes account and have it authorized for both? Am I allowed to take apps I've purchased for the ipod that is on account 1 and install any of those apps on the ipod that is associated with account 2? I've purchased all these apps, I just did not understand from the get go that there was no need for me to setup 2 completely different itunes accounts. The second iPod I am going to give to my young daughter as a toy, but I absolutely don't want to mess up my iPad and first iPod as I use them for work on a daily basis. Any help would be appreciated.

+Can I authorize my computer for my second itunes account and have it authorized for both?+
Yes. Sign out of the itunes store under the first account, then _sign back in_ with 2nd.
+I just did not understand from the get go that there was no need for me to setup 2 completely different itunes accounts.+
Don't worry, lots of people made this same mistake. It will be kind of a hassle remembering to authorize both accounts in the future, but it's manageable. You know that license agreement that comes up after an itunes update? I think you'll have to go in under both accounts and agree to it from now on.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848
    See this line?
+If the iTunes Store purchases on your device were purchased with multiple accounts, you will need to authorize the computer for each one.+
    That's what I'm talking about.

  • How to share music between different accounts on a single computer. Using this, I can out one account into a shared public folder, but when I want to put a second one there, it says it already exists and do I want to replace it?

I followed the instructions, but when I got to move a second folder to the new shared folder, it told me it already existed and did I want to repalce it? Not prepared to do this, and lose my wife's itunes songs. I am still in trouble from losing her play lists when I went to IOS 5!

Hi, remember to set the ownership & permissions for files/folders if you want to be able to amend files or change them from both accounts. If a file is created in one account. it may only be viewed in the other account. but if you change the ownership & permissions from "read only" to "read and write" then files can be amended from both accounts. To get the info, simply click once on the folder or file then command-i to get the file/folders info. you can change things there. Permissions can only be change from the account the file/folder was created in.

  • Can i have multiple ipods and ipod accounts on a single computer?

My daughter has an ipod touch and an itunes account.  My son now has an ipod touch and an ipod account.  I (their father) has an itunes account and an old ipod used just for music.  We only have one computer at home with itunes loaded on it.  All my music is from CD's as I don't make online purchases of music.  How can it work to keep each ipod seperate?
An example is that my son's username and password are now showing up on my daughters ipod.  Programs that my son bought online (for his video games on his ipod touch) are now being updated to my daughters ipoid.  It is a freakin mess!!!!
    What can I do???
I am not an apple user nor do I have an apple computer.  I had an ipod just play music but now with all the overlap, I cannot differentiate one's ipod from another.  I don't want to lose any of my son's games that he purchased either!
    Thanks in advance!!!
    Johnny

I'm pretty sure that's your first problem and I'm not sure how to rectify the overlap with the devices.
One thing you can do on your computer is delete the backups for your son and daughters iPods. To do that open iTunes/Preferences/Devices: Delete the device backups.
I'm not familiar with PC's so I can't tell you what other files to delete in reference to preference files. But if you know where the preferences are kept I would delete all of iTunes preference files.
I would also log out of iTunes after you delete the device backups and preferences and log back into your iTunes account with your username and password.
You should consider setting up separate computer User accounts for the kids with their own iTunes App so they can log into their own iTunes account while in their own computer user account.
If you don't want to set up separate computer user accounts, they should sync their iPods wirelessly using their iTunes Account username and password if possible.
That's about as much as I can offer for help.
Hopefully someone else will jump in and help.

  • Not able to get Sharing iTunes btw accounts on a single computer to work

I read the Apple support post on how to do this:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1203
I followed the instructions. I even went back to the iTunes Music directory in the original account where I had the music and changed permissions so that Everyone has read/write access.
When I am in iTunes on the new account, all the songs in the directory: Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/iTunes Music do not show up.
I've done the iTunes/Preferences/Advanced/Change Folder Location.
I hope that somebody can help.

You need to click on File > Add to Library and wait a few minutes for iTunes to organize the files.
Your music will not be copied, just referenced from the new location.

  • Can i share music between two iTunes accounts on the same computer

I know you can share the library with 'home share', but can you copy the titles to the account sothey can be loaded on to an ipod / iphone?
Or have i got to load any required music on to the computer a second time?

    This should help:
iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer
Note that when it says "publicly accessible location", it needs to be a place where everyone has read and write access. The most common such place is the Shared folder in the Users folder, but you can place the music elsewhere if you change the access permissions manually (don't start tinkering with permissions unless you're confident you know what you're doing and can reverse things if they get messed up).

  • Sharing iPhone apps between two accounts on a single mac.

Firstly, apologies if this topic has been covered many times before, I've tried to look, but can't find the exact answer I need.
I have recently purchased two iphones and want to use them on seperate apple ID's - I want different iCloud storage for each phone.
I have a macbook which has two accounts (one for me and one for my wife).  When I login to my account I have access to my itunes account and when my wife logins into her account she has access to her itunes account.
I have followed the instructions for sharing musics between two users on the same mac - by moving the itunes media folder to the shared folder on my mac.  I have copied everything in that folder (music, movies, apps etc).  I have also set up home sharing as I believe that you can share apps between itunes accounts using it.  Everything seems to have worked ok in terms of her itunes being able to access the music, movies etc, but the apps don't seem to work properly.  I went through the subfolders of the itunes media folder and changed the folder permissions to read and write for everybody (because I was getting a permissions error) and she now has access to the apps that are there (on my itunes account), but the apps that she has downloaded on her phone are not being transferred to the macbook.  I've tried the reset warnings suggestion and that hasn't solved the issue.
Am I doing something wrong?  Should the apps folder within the itunes media folder not be moved with the music when transferring to the shared folder?  Any ideas why music and movies sharing is working ok, but not apps?
    Thanks in advance!
