Change chronological order of comments

Hi All,
How do you change the chronological order of comments attached to KPIs in BSC? We need the latest comment to appear first when we view the comments.
Thanks in advance

Bindi

Bindi,
I guess you would need to modify the code organising the listing of the comments as at present the list orgainses the comments by the date of original listing with replies threaded.
You would also need to decide whether it was the date of the latest reply that was used or the date of the original comment creation.

  • When saving, how do I change the default order of my files in the pop up window which is currently reverse chronologic order?

When I want to save a file on my computer, Firefox opens a window for me to designate a location. Up until a few weeks ago, my files were listed in chronological order by file type. Now they're listed in reverse chronological order which is not convenient. This happens every time and I can't find where to change the setting.

Did you check the right-click context menu ?
You can also try to switch to list mode and click the Name column header to switch the direction.

  • In Health Vault, the Medications are not listed in chronological order, can this be changed?

I am new to Health Vault and I am entering all my families Medications and Conditions from current backwards.  I am noticing that after I save, logout and return, they are still listed in the same order I entered them in.  This seems crazy, as
I expected them to be listed in chronological order, with most recent on top.
Can anyone tell me if there is away to change it so the are listed properly?
    Thank you

    Hi. Thanks for using HealthVault!
Currently there is no way to change the sort order of the medication list; you will see the most recently entered item on the top of the list. As a work-around, if you have more past medications to enter, try starting from the earliest ones.
By the way, if you view the Emergency Profile, it shows only current medications (ie, medications for which you have added an end date).
We hope to add more flexibility for sorting all types of data. We don't have any specifics on that yet though. Sorry you're having this frustrating experience while we work on that.

  • Change order of comments - bring to front / send to back

    Hello.
Is there any way to order comments, such as the bring to front or send to back commands that are used in Word, AutoCAD, PDF Xchange etc? I need to get my comments in front of the various arrows and things that I have scatterered around my drawing mark-up.
I have scoured the internet, forums and help files!
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks Cari. Useful info on the comment summary, but doesn't really work for drawings unforunately, as my comments are related to areas of the page rather than blocks of text. Unless I'm using it wrong, which is certainly possible.
Bit of a shame, this one. Looks like another reason why I have to keep the PDF Xchange viewer on my PC, despite my company having shelled out for Acrobat X Pro for all of us. That software allows me to order/flatten comments and insert images as well. I'm not advertising the rival software, you understand, just hoping to pique Adobe's interest in sorting out the most basic functionality before getting more carried away with portfolios and the like.
Does anyone else know whether the order of comments can be changed?

  • How do I make email searches display in chronological order?

There must be something obvious I am missing here, I am hoping someone can tell me what I may be doing wrong.
I have several packages that just shipped via UPS over the past week. I get quite a few UPS packages and the tracking alerts are over several email accounts.
I go to my email to search for UPS so I can get all the tracking numbers, but as I've noticed since iOS7 was installed, my search results come back completely in a random looking order.  There is no coherence to the dates.  The first one is from March, then they jump back to 2011, then one of my recent ones is shown as Wednesday, then back to 2012, etc.  There are hundreds.  Even when I specify an email box instead of searching all email the same thing happens - all seemingly in random order.
Why can't I just see them in chronological order as I used to? Do I need to specify something different in search, or change some setting?
Thanks for  any help! This has been annoying for awhile but today it's gone from annoying to really bothersome because this is such a basic function and I just had to spend ten minutes going through my email manually since at least it's chronological - I would have been there all day using the search function.  I know I must be missing something.

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

  • TS1468 When I change the album artist name it changes the order of songs, how do I stop this?

The songs downloaded to my iTunes on my Macbook Pro by CD have divided into different albums. Now I have put them into the same album by changing the Album Artist in File- Get Info but the song order changes; this is a problem as a lot of these albums are from Musical Theatre shows and the songs need to be in chronological order to make sense! Please tell me how I can put them into the same album and also keep them in the same order as on the CD.

For a full run down see Grouping tracks into albums. Generally to control the order of tracks within an album you need to use appropriate disc and track numbers. You may also need to change the sort column for the view.

  • Can't get albums in chronological order

I'm having an issue where I can't get the artists albums in chronological order. I have all the artist in alphabetical order but now I want their albums in year order. It looks like the albums are in alphabetical order. To give you an example...AC/DC is first...Back in Black (1980) is before High Voltage (1976). I know it probably sounds petty but it drives me crazy that its not in the correct order! lol... I did a search and couldn't find my answer thats why I'm posting. Thanks in advance.

Is there a way to force iTunes to follow true chronologic order?
iTunes only references the year of release for songs, not the month and day, so if an artist has two albums in the same year, they will be sorted alphabetically. You could change the year of one of them to force it to show up in the order you want. Not a perfect solution, but just an idea.

  • Creating .pdf file from images organized in chronological order

I have many sets of old scanned .TIFF files pertaining to corresponding documents that I would like to get organized into .pdf files. The problem is that these files were given random names when they were scanned into a proprietary database. However they were scanned in order and have time and date stamps corresponding to that order. I have tried organizing them in chronological order in Windows Explorer and then dragging and dropping them on to Acrobat 8. However Acrobat only seems to want to place them in alphabetical order after which I have to go through and tediously put them into the proper order. Is there a way to load them chronologically? I have tried looking through documentation and looking for such an option but I can't find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry Im totally new to acrobat so this may seem like a daft question> I have scanned a document through a document feed scanner into a pdf format but some of the pages are orientated the wrong way within the pdf, is there a way to change the direction of pages and then save the whole pdf again so that everything is the right way round. I know that you can change the orintation while reading the pdf but as this is being put into web ct for students I would prefer for them not to have to do this.

  • App Store reviews no longer displayed in reverse chronological order

When I search for an app in the app store and look at its customer reviews, they are in seemingly random order.  They always used to be displayed with the newest reviews at the top (reverse chronological order).  Now when I look at the customer reviews of the Google Maps app for example, the review listed first is from March 5, 2013.  A review from March 7, 2013 is posted below it.  I am sure there must be newer reviews than that for such a widely used app.  Today is May 17, 2013.  Why aren't the newest reviews displayed first anymore?

This is quite frusturating...I too prefer my reviews the old way.
I'm not sure how/why this change occured but as a developer who has used iOS7 beta, I can confirm that user reviews ARE back in reverse chronological order at least in this early first beta.
Doesn't really help now though :/

  • Listening in chronological order to a subscribed podcast

It's easy enough to change the play order, Newest or Oldest first.  But if you have a subscribed podcast, it shows every available episode in the list, so if you like to listen in chronological order, you have to scroll past potentially hundreds of episodes every time?
Am I weird for listening to things in order?  Anyone have a better way?

What am I not understanding here?
Most podcast are topical. Like news, their episodes become dated or irrelevant as time passes; therefore, the most recent episode is what most listeners want to hear. However, for those podcasts whose episodes are timeless, I found that it's possible to hear them in chronological order, but that you can't skip episodes and expect the player to play those skipped episodes later--in order--while ignoring the episodes you listened to previously.
Is this what you want to do?

  • Is it possible to display artist's albums in chronological order instead of alphabetical?

Is it possible to display artist's albums in chronological order instead of alphabetical?

Afternoon rockmyplimsoul, thank you for the info on changing the sorting order - one question though how do you do this on the iPod ?
Even if your artists are sorted in the library in chronological order by release date, which is cool,  when its transferred to the iPod it still gets sorted in alphabetical order. This is frustrating as I like to listen to one artist's music in order of release date, which I cant because its in alphabetical order.
    Can you assist please.
    Thank you
    PS: Config- Thinkpad W510 i7 8GB, Win 7 Pro 32
                        iTunes 11 latest release
22000+ Songs stored in Library in WAV format encoded from original CD's
Painstakingly all Album info and Art were added.

  • Aperture isn't syncing to iPhone in chronological order

I just moved from iPhoto 09 to Aperture, and when I synced my iPhone with Aperture for the first time, Aperture isn't syncing to iPhone in chronological order like it did in iPhoto. All my images, albums, etc. are sorted by image date in Aperture, but there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to how iTunes/Aperture sync to my iPhone 3G. I'd like to be able to scroll down to my newest photos on the iPhone like I did when I synced with iPhoto 09. Anything I need to do differently? Thanks.

This has been discussed on the iPhone forum. The best way to "fix it" is change the album sort in aperture to custom (drop down menu). This seems to fix it.

  • Why is LR 3.6 reversing the chronological order of my photos?

This is very odd behavior that started only last week. When I import new photos in the catalog, it reverses the chronological order in which they were taken - i.e., for photos taken on the same day, it would show the latest first. Any ideas? I don't think I changed any settings regarding the importing of photos in the catalog.

    Click the "sort direction" button:

  • Organising Albums by artists in chronological order?

Hello, i have the Ipod 60gb model, and for some reason when i go into artists and look at the albums, they are listed in alphabetical order rather than chronological order. This is really annoying, and i don't know how to change it so that my albums appear on the ipod in chronological order, because they do on my itune on the computer?!
    Anybody got any ideas?
    Cheers
    Ollie

I'm fairly sure that you cannot change the sort order of albums within the Artist list on the iPod. It will only sort alphabetically. Probably, the reason that iTunes is displaying your albums chronologically is because you have selected iTunes to display *Album by Year*.
This is achieved by repeatedly clicking on the *Album by Year* column (in iTunes version 7.6.1.9). The sort order will change as follows:
    *Album by Year*;
    *Album name* (A-Z - then numbers);
    *Album by Artist*
Once you select Album by Year, if you then click on the arrow (in that column's header) the order is reversed. Perhaps this is how you have your iTunes set up.
If you want iTunes and the iPod to be the same, click on the *Album by Year* column iTunes until you have Album and the up arrow.
