Change color for trim and registration mark

The trim and registration marks are having the color name "All" in the generated pdf from InDesign. Any one help me out on how to change the color to K (black) while generating PDF out of InDesign.

Maybe, in CS6, by exporting to Grayscale, but this will make everything black ink only. Otherwise, no.
To add your own marks, add a slug area to the file, draw whatever you want for marks in that area, using [Black], and turn off automatic marks in the export dialog, but Include Slug Area under the bleed settings.

Trim and bleed marks

I created my file in Photoshop but then I had to transfer it to Illustrator to create trim and bleed marks. I managed to add crop marks by creating a rectangle, placing it in the middle of my picture and selecting object/crop area/create.
However, when I try converting my file to PDF, none of my marks can be seen. I also tried setting everything up in print dialog box but nothing works. I am creating a file for commercial printing. I am using Photoshop and Illustrator CS3. I really need help with this. Any ideas on how to solve it would be great!!!

Thanks. I did try it the other way as well, but then my crop marks show out of artboard for some reason and I need to adjust them manually, hence changing the trim size, which I don't want. If I don't adjust them to appear on artboard then they don't show in PDF. That happens when I use the rectangle in trim size.
However, when I only use the command that you mentioned without creating a rectangle first then my crop marks show in the middle of my artboard, in other words, if it was to be trimmed to the right size, the crop marks would be seen on the printout after trimming. I hope this makes sense, but I've been trying to do this for two days now and I am losing my mind.

I need to make links from keywords in PDF to files which is stored on harddisk.
As for now I've done following
1. Searched PDDoc with WordFinder for keyword
2. Created link annotations from keyword quads
3. Make filespecification and set it as launch action for all link annotations
Now I need to change color for recognized keyword below link annotation. Could anybody help me with any hint?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Must be a hidden keyboard combination for temperature and tint. Not sure if the user can set different settings of each that the keystrokes will take you thru. Just hit the reset button in the Adjust pane to get it back to normal.

I totally understand what you are saying and I rarely take an argumentative approach in this forum, but what I am trying to point out to the OP is that you cannot create different colors for "events" in one single calendar.

I woke up this morning and my bookmarks are functioning different, and the tool bar has changed. Instead of opening the bookmarks in a page on Safari, I get a menu on the side of the page. Then I have to go click on the bookmark icon again to get rid of the menu. Has a setting changed or did Apple change it for me and how do I get it BAAAAAAACK????????????

Using these links, you should be able to determine which model you have.

How to set value for trim and bleed using jsx script?

I have tried using bleedoffsetRect but somehow it is not working. Can anybody please help me on how to set value for trim and bleed using jsx script? Any example will be highly appreciated.

I would expect although I've not actually tried this for the bleed off set box to be larger than the artbaord and the first two values to be negative or 0…

Where 'artboard.width' & 'artboard.height' you will have calculated from your file. An Array(9,9,9,9); would not constitute any boxes bounds.

Changing the Color of Crop and Bleed Marks from Registration to Black

I have been searching the web and have tried numerous things but I can't seem to solve this problem. In InDesign crop marks and bleed marks are printed in "Registration" color. I understand why that is needed for plate printing. However I am laser printing and I need those marks to be in "Black" color. I have tried to edit the cropmark script by changing "Registration" to "Black" on the line with myRegColor. I have tried changing the printer setting to "Pure Black". However I can't get the crop and bleed marks to print in "Black". I have been on various websites and while there are people asking the question I haven't found a answer that works. I have searched this community as well but haven't found an answer that I understand. Before I manually make crop marks I want to make sure I am not missing something completely obvious.
With laser printing there is a different charge for color and B&W. The fact that the crop marks are coming in as color and not black means B&W pages are counted as color in the printing cost. I have tested the same docuement (which was just one page full of sample black text) with and without crop/bleed marks. When the document is printed without the marks the printer clicks as a B&W page. When it is printed with the marks the printer click as a color page.
I am creating the doc in InDesign and exporting to Acrobat for printing. I am using Creative Cloud so I think I have the most up to date version of InDesign.

With CS6 or later you can export to grayscale and in that case the crops will be black only. Like this:
You should set your Appearance of Black to Rich black otherwise 100% black CMYK might export to something less than 100% grayscale. When you check the PDF in Acrobat set the simulation profile to the grayscale profile you export to.

Yes its possible to change that .
You need to implement BADI for this ..
BADI name : "PT_ABS_REQ"
In the BADI "PT_ABS_REQ" interface "IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ" you can find the method
"SET_CALENDAR_COLOR" in that you can set the colure for the Absent type ......

Functionality
You can use this method to change the colors in the team calendar.
In the standard system, the different statuses for requests have different colors. You can use this method to differentiate the colors of requests depending on the following aspects:
Status of requests (status)
Action that an employee has executed: new request, delete, change (UIA operation)
Subtype of absence (SUBTY)
Full-day or partial-day absence (BEGMT, where BEGMT = 0 signifies a full-day absence)
Application mode ( mode). You specify the application mode in the Select Employees for the Team Calendar IMG activity.
Color Display of Status of Leave Requests(COLORS_ACTIVE). You specify this status in the Specify How Leave Is Displayed and Default Values IMG activity.
Available Colors
You have a choice of 16 colors. The 16 colors are hard coded, that is, you cannot change them or add other ones.
The available colors are stored with their RGB value as constants of the CL_PT_REQ_CONST class. Use these constants if you want to change the colors.
Notes
If you change the colors in the team calendar, you should also adapt the legend accordingly. You can use the Adjust Legend for Calendar and Team Calendar method to do so.

Change Color in Messages and General Customization (Pixi Plus Verizon)

Hi everyone, I just got the Palm Pixi Plus and I'm still figuring everything out, so I hope this isn't a silly question. Is there a way to change the background color of each contact in Messaging? My outgoing messages are always green and incoming messages are always displayed in blue - is there a way to assign a color to a contact or message thread?
It also seems that in general, the display of the phone does not seem very customizable - is this true or have I just not figured it out? For instance, changing colors/font sizes in menu, adding a larger clock to the Launcher screen, etc, options that are pretty standard on all cell phones. Is changing the wallpaper really the only way to customize the display?

Hello kbend and welcome to the forums;
By default, wallpaper and sound customizations are the extent of changes you can make. However, as was noted in the official Palm blog http://blog.palm.com/palm/2010/03/makeover-madness.html the homebrew community has the ability to "theme" your device, changing nearly every aspect of the user interface.
Please be aware however, adding homebrew applications or patches is not supported by Palm, and we would be unable to troubleshoot anything related to these features.
