Change color or thickness of Path lines

Is there a way to change the path lines to make them more visible when I am editing them? When I use the pen tool to make a path then I go back and edit the path via the nodes sometimes depending on the colors of the photo the path disappears. Is there any way to thicken the lines or change their colors or something to make them more visible?
Thanks for you help

No but you can do the opposite.
Change the image by lightening it with a Levels adjustment layer, and delete it when you're done.

  • How can I change the thickness of a line in a Picture object?

    I want to change the thickness of the line in a Polar Plot. I can easy change the color but not the thickness of the line displaying the data. I have seen that the 'polar Plot' function use the 'Draw Line' function of the 'Picture Functions'. Do you have a solution? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jean-Michel,
    If you dig down a few levels from the top-level Polar Plot VI, you will find vi.lib\picture\polarplt.llb\Plot Polar Data.vi. Inside this VI is a VI called "Draw Multiple Lines.vi", which has a "pen" input. This input is currently not wired, so it defaults to a line style of "Solid", and a width of "1". If you take this input and propogate it all the way up to the top-level Polar Plot VI, you can now specify the line width and style of your polar plot.
    I have submitted this as a suggestion, so perhaps we will see it in a future version of LabVIEW.

  • How do I change the color of the clipping path in CS5

    Just installed Photoshop CS5 I use the pen to create a clipping path for isolation. In CS4 the path line always contrasted with the background I was working on. In CS5 it is only gray so I cannot work on grey background pics as I cannot see the path. How can I change it back to multi colored like CS4?
    In CS4 I could change between gray & colored by enabling or disabling OpenGL Drawing from Edit->Preferences->Performance. This does not work for me in CS5. I really need the color as I am isolating a dark gray bike againsr a lighter gray wall. I keep loosing the curve handles against the wall.

    Which means that the wall isn't neutral gray, it has some color in it. Anyway, that's beside the point. In CS5 they've changed the way they display paths when OpenGL is turned off (probably changed to another API behind the scenes) which caused these problems. If i've understood it correctly, this isn't a bug per se, it's just a limitation of the API that they're using now (lack of blend modes or some such).
    If you want the old way back then you can try making a feature request/bug report here: https://www.adobe.com/go/wish

  • How do I change the color of the clipping path

    Just installed Photoshop CS4 I use the pen to create a clipping path for isolation. In CS3 the path line always contrasted with the background I was working on. In CS4 it is only gray so I cannot work on grey background pics as I cannot see the path. How can I change it back to multi colored like CS3?

    The paths are often hard to see against certain backgrounds and I don't know how they can be changed.
    If the path is hard to see, alter the opacity of the layer temporarily or apply a Levels adjustment layer.

  • Need to change colors of lines in an Omniportlet Line Chart

    I am running Oracle Portal on a 10g Web server. I have created an Omniportlet and I am displaying data in a line chart. Is it possible for me to define the colours of the lines in the linechart?

    Hi I didn't changed colors in line chart but I managed to redesign lot of omniportlets.
    What you can do is to re-define CSS.
    Add an HTML portlet in your page with some CSS embedded.
    To catch wich class are to be re defined, I recommand you to use firefox with the extension Webdevelopper.
    Use the "Informations - display element information" functionnality to catch wich class are used for your chart.
    Then redefine those classes in your custom CSS.
    Hope that will help

  • Why did my audio & video lines change colors?

    I was working in a sequence when suddenly all my lines changed colors on me. The audio and video lines are the exact same shade of blue and its very disorienting. Even after I  alter an audio clip in Audition the colors don't change. I've tried quitting, restarting my mac, opening older projects... I can't get the original colored lines back. Is this some new software update? How do I get the different colored lines back?

    Okay let me rephrase. The color change is weird but not a major issue. The major issue is that my audio waveforms aren't being displayed anymore.
    Even after I expand that audio line theres no waveform... I need to see where my audio is peaking. Any idea whats going on or how to fix?

  • Is it possible to change  color on the line strip/code view in CS6?

    Hello -
    I did some research on this and cant seem to see if this can be done - I was hoping to change the color of the blue line menu on the code view screen.
    Eric

    I take it you're referring to that vertical line in the left hand side of Code View? I don't think it's possible to change the color.  If you disable line numbers (#), it's a bit less noticeable.

  • GUI lines changing colors

    I am creating a GUI where ultimately I would like to have 3 lines painted in a panel first. Then when a play button is hit i would like the lines to start changing colors. However to start it I had decided to have the Thread draw the line (using getGraphics). Right now the line will sometimes draw but will not stay painted until the next line would be painted. It just flashes quickly. Sometimes it wil go through the whole loop of colors and other times it will only flash the first color. When it does flash more than the first color the line is usually only half the length of what it should be. Are there any suggestions of how to fix his problem?!?!
    class Runner extends Thread {
    public SimulationPanel sp;
    public Runner(SimulationPanel simpanel){
    this.sp=simpanel;
    public void run() {
    System.out.println("The Thread is working");
    Graphics comp = sp.getGraphics();
    Graphics2D comp2D = (Graphics2D) comp;
    BasicStroke line2 = new BasicStroke(5);
    Line2D.Float ln1 = new Line2D.Float(500F, 200F, 800F, 400F);
    Color colors[] = {Color.RED, Color.GREEN, Color.BLUE, Color.MAGENTA };
    for(int i = 0; i <= 4; i++) {
    comp2D.setColor(colors);
    comp2D.draw(ln1);
    delay(1000);
    void delay(int milliseconds) {
    try {
    Thread.sleep(milliseconds);
    catch (InterruptedException e) { }

  • My ipod 5th generation has lines on the screen that will change color and the ipod sometimes wont respond when i touch it

    My ipod has lines on the screen and will change color. It also is not responding to my touch. What can i do?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Change color of separator line in ActionBar between buttons?

    There is a black line that appears after everything inserted into the actionbar, i want it to be a different color, or even be two lines together being different colors.

    You have to edit the TransparentNavigationButton_up.fxg/TransparentActionButton_up.fxg or create your own skin for the button using TransparentActionButtonSkin.as as a template and create your own fxg files.

  • Can anyone help with changing colors without making a selection

    I've been trying to work the the script below. All the front most paths are black I want to change them all to yellow without having to select them first.
    Any help would be really appreciated. "I am a novice javascripter"
    var myStyles = app.activeDocument.pathItems;
    lastStyle=myStyles[myStyles.length-1]
    lastStyle.remove();
    frontStyle=myStyles[0]
    frontStyle.filled=true;
    // Sets the default fill color in the current document to yellow.
    if ( app.documents.length > 0 ) {
    //added
    frontPath = frontStyle;
    // Define the new color
    var newRGBColor = new RGBColor();
    newRGBColor.red = 255;
    newRGBColor.green = 255;
    newRGBColor.blue = 0;
    // Use the color object in the path item
    frontPath.filled = true;
    frontPath.fillColor = newRGBColor;

    A couple of pointers from one novice to another… With script there is NO need to deal with 'selections' to change the writeable properties of any object you simply need reference them with your code as you have done above… You can select art and you can deal with user selected art should you wish but as a rule for all else just target the object with your syntax… The best thing to do is to get your code working… as you know the current state to be ( a document open with you test objects in it ) once you have this then add to it by wrapping your conditionals around this… For example…
    if ( app.documents.length > 0 ) {
         // All your code goes inside this statement
    There is no point in getting the path items of the active document then checking later if there is a doc… Just a case of putting things in there respective order…
    The property filled… I only use to check the state, giving an object a fill will automatically update this… So here are your lines with a little reshuffle and a loop example…
    // Check there is a doc open
    if ( app.documents.length > 0 ) {
              // set a variable to the front document
              var doc = app.activeDocument;
              //Make your new color
              var rgbYellow = new RGBColor();
              // assign some values
              rgbYellow.red = 255;
              rgbYellow.green = 255;
              rgbYellow.blue = 0;
              // set variable to the collection ( list ) you want
              var paths = doc.pathItems;
              // loop this using a variable 'i'
              for ( var i = 0; i < paths.length; i++ ) {
                        paths[i].fillColor = rgbYellow;
              }; // this is your loop ending
    }; // this is the condition ending
