Change colour of background screen?

Hi there.
Is there any way to change the background screen colour that all the photos are displayed on?
Currently it is white - but find it somewhat difficult to look at the images.
Would prefer a dark grey or black...

Can you select the slideshow widget that you have added and check the fill color in control panel.

Use two (or more) versions of the logo, then use Opacity in Scroll Effects to select which logo shows at a given point when you scroll. Have a look at Typographica Media for an example of this (the copyright notice at the bottom of the page – desktop version).

Ron,
Right click on the background in the work area, and you should be able to change it from there.

Apple logo screen changing colours in a loop

My phone randomly went in a loop of the apple logo (with the white background) changing colours (sometimes red, blue, grey) and I can't restore it or connect it to my computer!

To troubleshoot this issue where your iPhone will not boot past the Apple logo and is showing different colored screens, please follow the directions below.

MacBook Pro Screen changes colours

Usually when people open the lid to their macbook pro it shows the place where you type in your password and it shows your background but when i open the lid to mine the screen starts changing colours from red to blue to green to grey and i dont lnow why? Does anyone else know why this happens? Thank you :)

It sounds like a defective Mac. I would see what the Genius Bar says.

Thunderbolt display changes colour temperature when in full screen mode

27" Thunderbolt Display connected to MacBook Air (2011) changes colour temperature when in full screen mode. Switching any setting in System Preferences/Displays changes it back to the correct colour. I have also seen this on a 24" LED Display (Display Port) connected to a Mac Book Pro (2011).

Change the desktop background colour of Acrobat 9 Professional?

Is it possible to change the desktop background colour in Acrobat 9? The reason I ask is we are supplied newspaper ads and sometimes they have a black keyline on the border of the PDF.
The dark background on the desktop can make it difficult to see a fine keyline. We were previously using Acrobat 7 Professional which had a white background.

This is what the fellow is talking about. Naturally if his keyline item is in Black it ain't going to show up In Acrobat previous to 9 all this back Ground was grey.

You can't (not in Keynote for iOS). The background color is a function of the template selected when you create the file initially and cannot be altered. the only workaround I know of is to add a graphic file to the slide and position it behind all other content, but this would need to be repeated on any slide you wish to "recolor".

At present, lock-screen appears to be a blurred version of one of the standard Yosemite desktops.

It typically uses your Screen Saver definition in System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Screen Saver tab.

This is kinda silly, but how do I change the default desktop background when unlocking screen in gnome?, its always that annoying green leaf background, how can I make it my wallpaper instead?

Change the Default Background Image
The default background is that zoomed in picture of a green leaf. It appears for newly created users, but more importantly, this is the image shown when the screen is locked. As of 25-Apr-2009, you can find this image here
/usr/share/pixmaps/backgrounds/gnome/background-default.jpg
To change it, simply copy your favorite image to this locate (as root) and rename it.

My iphone 3gs screen has changed colour

hi just wondering if any one has an idea whats up with my iphone it was working fine went to bed got up and the screen had changed colour so my apps and web pages display is red and bright blue was on and off like this for a week or so but if i locked an re-opened it woud go back to normal but now for the pas few days it stays stuck like this and is driving me mad!! i can use it fine but cant play games or anything as the only colours it displays are red, blue and black Help please

Sounds like it's dying. Bring your phone into Apple for an out of warranty exchange for $149 or find a 3rd party repair shop near you.

Change 'Elegant Brochure' background colour

Hi there,
Making a brochure for our wedding (using the option under brochure of 'Elegant Brochure') to go along with the invites. Is there any way we can change the brown background colour to match our wedding's black, red and white theme colour while keeping the pattern in the original colour scheme? Basically just want to change the brown background to a light red.

Click on the panel. Note the little Xs? That means it’s locked. In the Arrange menu choose unlock. Because the panel is a JPEG instead of a shape, bring up the Adjust Image pane and use the various sliders to produce the color you want. It might be a good idea to Lock them again after you change the color.

Hello, I have downloaded a template for Dream Weaver CS6 (Which is the version i am usig). When you hover over one of the boxes the top text changes colour to black instead of staying white... does any one know how i can make it so the text stays the same colour. I will post a print screen of it.
