Change Composite Provider InfoArea

Hi All,
I am having trouble changing Composite Provider InfoArea in BW Modeling(Hana Studio).
Currently the Composite Provider is in NODESNOTCONNECTED InfoArea, I need to change it to a ZEXAMPLE InfoArea.
Any idea how I can change Composite Provider InfoArea in BW Modeling(Hana Studio)?

Kang

Hi,
It is all detailed in the help guides. Please check the BW 7.4 help guides.

  • How to include DSO in composite provider?

    Hi Experts,
    Could any one let me know the steps to include DSO in composite provider? system verson 7.31 BWA 7.2
    Regards,
    Satish.

    Hi,
    This is all available in help.sap.com.
    You are in the BW Modeling tools. In the context menu for your BW project, choose New > CompositeProvider.
    Select an InfoArea. To ensure that you can find your CompositeProvider again without difficulty, we recommend setting the Add to Favorites flag.
    Enter a name and a description Enter a name for the uppermost node.
    Select the method.
    If you have opted for Union as the assignment method, now press Finish. The editor appears.
    If you have opted for Join, you have to make a few more entries:
    Select the join type. Choose Next.
    As the left-hand join object, select either an InfoProvider from the BW system or, if you have assigned a SAP HANA system to the BW project, select a SAP HANA model as the left-hand join object. Choose Next.
    As the right-hand join object, select a BW InfoProvider or a SAP HANA view. Choose Next.
    Select the a right-hand join object. Choose Finish. The wizard now closes, and the editor opens.

  • Error while executing BEx Query on Composite Provider

    Hi,
    We have a BW on-HANA system, patch level SAPKW73105.
    We have created a Composite provider based on the union of two DSOs, two infoobjects, one SPO, and there are a couple of joins with two other DSOs, on the top of that we built a BEx query.
    While executing the BEx query, sometimes (depending on the filter values), We got the following error message
    "Attribute engine failed;Error executing physical plan: exception 6900: AttributeEngine/Parallel/DimensionFilter.cpp engine failed; $function$=getValidFemsPA;"
    "Error 6,900 has occurred in the BWA/SAP HANA server"
    "Error reading the data of InfoProvider @3ZSDRPCP5"
    "Error while reading data; navigation is possible"
    "Row: 59 Inc: MAP_TREX_EXCEPTION Prog: CL_RSDRH_TREX_STORAGE"
    (Attached error message)
    Ii We browse the composite provider data using the "display data" option in the RSA1, data is displayed without issue, the problem only appears during the BEx query execution and only with some filter vaues.
    Any idea on how to fix the issue.
    Thanks,
    Federico

    He's on 7.3 EhP1, which is on SPS12 today. It got pretty stable by SP08, SP09. SP05 was pretty early on, and had a lot of bugs in the HANA views.
    7.4 is on SP07 like you say, and most of our customers run at least SP06 - before then, you had to apply a bucketload of SAP notes. I would recommend customers apply SP08 with care because it's a feature release so will have a bunch of new features, which will no doubt need corrections.

  • Connecting Printer to a new Wireless network (changed network provider)

    I have recently changed broadband provider and I am struggling to connect my printer (HP Deskjet 3050A All in One Printer) to my new wireless network.
    I have clicked on HP within programs and tried to set up the printer but my laptop is not recgonising that the printer is connected via the cable so its not picking up the printer in order for me to set it up as a new device.
    Help please??

    Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
    The easiest way to deal with this may be to install (reinstall) the Full Feature Software for the printer onto your computer.
    The installation procedure includes a connection process that might resolve the issue for you without adding any more stress to the situation.
    Along with the basic instructions and install videos, you can find lots of helpful Troubleshooting / Howto help at the printer's website support pages.
    TIP:  You do want to disconnect the USB cable from the printer before you install / reinstall the software.
    General Instructions to Install the Printer Software
    Reminder:
    In most cases, the Solution Center has been replaced by the Printer Assistant.
    The Printer Assistant shortcut will be installed on your Desktop during the last part of the installation.
    Windows Operating System:
    Create Restore Point:   Create a Restore Point – Win7 OR  Create a restore point Win8
    Open HP Drivers & Downloads
    Enter your Printer Model information
    Select your Printer from the “Results” list
    OR
    Open HP Deskjet 3050A e-All-in-One Printer series - J611
    Select your Printer from the “Results” list
    Enter your Operating System in the Drop-down menu
    Click NEXT and Scroll down
    Look for category Driver - Product Installation Software
    Select the Basic Driver, e-print, or Full Feature Software
    Save the *.exe installation package(s) on your computer
    The file(s) will likely save to the "Downloads “folder.
    Be sure to look for Updates as needed for your installation. If available, you may download the Print and Scan Doctor and / or other programs from Category – Utilities.
    If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package and “double-click” to install it, else Right-Click, Select run as Administrator and install.
    NOTES:
    Look at the bottom half of the main webpage for your printer for helpful videos to assist with the installation of the printer software!
    Scroll the video list back and forth until you find the video that most closely matches your situation.
    If using a USB connection: Download and install the driver software before connecting a USB cable.
    Ethernet: Connect the printer to the network and (Optional) assign the printer an IP address at the router. Once the printer is connected to the network, be sure the printer is switched on and then install the printer software.
    After the initial installation is complete and working, check / install Category - Update
    There is valuable information at the support website, including sections for Manuals, Troubleshooting > How-to, Troubleshooting > Solve a Problem, plus alerts and notifications for your printer.  Be sure to take an extended look at what is available.  Bookmark the page.

  • How can we make consecutive left outer joins in Composite Provider?

    Hi,
    For the following design:
    Sales order and Delivery DSO's are unions on field Delivery Number.
    Invoice(Billing DSO) is having left outer join and joins with Sales Order DSO's based on the field Sales Order Number.
    Shipment DSO has left outer join, joins with Invoice DSO based on Delivery number.
    My doubt here in this composite provider design, is more than one consecutive left outer joins(in Invoice, shipment dso join) are allowed?
    Since this is possible in SAP ERP through writing abap codes, I came across that this kind of modelling is not possible in BW on  Hana through Composite provide kindly suggest how can we achieve this design in SAP BW On hana.

    Antony Jerald.

  • Creating a Composite Provider in SAP BW 7.3 on HANA

    Hi All,
    We are currently on SAP BW 7.31 SP8 on HANA and would like to ask if you guys can provide some guides on how to create a simple Composite Provider in our current BW version.
    I tried creating the object through RSLIMO / RSLIMOBW. But in the right panel of the screen which is supposed to show the list of available info providers is somehow disabled (see attached screenshot - error_CompositeInfo.jpg) and I couldn't choose any infoproviders to drag it to be used.
    Any particular steps that needs to be carried out prior to this? Appreciate your help.
    Thanks very much,
    Jeffrey

  • Change Data Provider Based on ComboBox Selection

    Complete noob using Flash CS5 for Macs. I have a ComboBox component and a TileList. I want the ComboBox selection to change the data provider for the TileList. I've used a sample script from the Adobe website at the bottom, but it is not working in this context. Google returns no better examples. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    import fl.controls.ComboBox;
    import fl.data.DataProvider;
    import flash.display.DisplayObject;
    import flash.display.MovieClip;
    import fl.events.DataChangeEvent;
    // Combo Box ("aCb")
    var aCb:ComboBox = aCb;
    var Choices:Array = new Array(
        {label:"Artist Resin", data: "resin"},
        {label:"Ceramic", data: "ceramic"}
    aCb.dataProvider = new DataProvider(Choices);
    // TileList ("aTl")
    aTl.columnWidth = 110;
    aTl.rowHeight = 130;
    aTl.setSize(110,150);
    aTl.move(20, 150);
    aTl.setStyle("contentPadding", 5);
    // TileList Content
    var i:uint = 0;
    var resinitems:Array = [
    {label: "Image 1", source: "http://www.helpexamples.com/images/montreal/images/IMG_5057.jpg"},
    {label: "Image 2", source: "http://www.helpexamples.com/flash/images/gallery2/images/IMG_1592.jpg"}];
    var resin:DataProvider = new DataProvider();
    for(i=0; i < resinitems.length; i++) {}
    var ceramicitems:Array = [

    var ceramic:DataProvider = new DataProvider();
    for(i=0; i < ceramicitems.length; i++) {}
    addChild(aCb);
    addChild(aTl);
    // Code to Change Data Provider for Tile List
    aCb.addEventListener(Event.CHANGE, changedataProvider);
    function changedataProvider(event:Event):void {
        aTl.dataProvider = event.target.selectedItem.data;

    Thanks for your answers.
    I have already checked those links.
    Now th problem what I am facing is,
    I am not able to call the function ChangeLanguage through javascript.
    I have created a dropdwon using Hovermenu and added English and German.
    Now when I click on these the function should be called.
    Please help me in getting how setClientSideScript() can be used to call a function.
    or any other way to call the function after clicking on Hovermenu Item.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Bex Query's(Composite Provider) Navigational Attribute Error

    Hi All,
    We have created a BEx query on top of a Composite Provider. In the Composite Provider, we have a few common Navigation Attributes in all Info Providers.
    Whenever we tried to show a particular Navigational Attribute (G_TIC9030) in BEx query (RSRT), we will receive the error messages as below.
    This problem doesn't occur if we created another test query on each Info Providers of Composite provider. All test queries are able to return result and are showing all the navigational attributes without any errors.
    Any idea on how to fix this?
    Regards,
    Kang

    As discussed Kang this looks like the problem described in OSS Note 2019244.
    It's not unusual to find a few of these problems in testing.

  • Changing Broadband provider, any changes for .Mac email?

    I currently use my .mac email address as my main email which routes all my email to mail.app on my desktop. As I am about to change broadband provider, do I need to do anything to ensure that .mac (or mobileme) still routes all my email to my desktop instead of having to log on to mobileme?
    Thanks in advance

    No. Your broadband carrier just provides the connection to the Internet. You still use the same email ISP.

  • Can we import Composite provider, Hybrid provider, Virtual Porvider, Advance DSO, Transient Provider to HANA Studio?

    Hi to all,
    Can we import Composite Provider, Hybrid Provider, Virtual Provider, Advance DSO to HANA Studio.
    If yes then How?
    Note: we are already on BW on HANA
    Regards
    Pavneet Rana

    Hi Pavneet,
    As per SAP development strategy Hybrid, virtual and transient providers will be replaced by composite provider. New design are recommended in new composite provider.
    Advance DSO and composite provider can designed and modified via BW modeling tools.
    You need bw modeling tools 1.5 and above is recommended.
    SAP Development Tools for Eclipse
    In order order to use Advanced DSO you need BW 7.4 SP 9.
    Thanks,
    Shakthi Raj Natarajan.

  • Composite Provider with Time dependent master data

    Hi ,
    we have a infoset and due to some performance issues we are creating a composite provider to replace Info set and that Info set is having Time dependent master data objects  and DSO.. But when I was creating composite provider I do not see two time dependent  objects (Valid from and Valid to ) in composite provider. Composite provider does not have them/ is it a limitation? Appreciate if provide a input on this..  [We are in BW on HANA 7.4 with SP 7 environment]

    Hi Manohar Karunakaram
    I remember that there was the following limitation with Composite provider in terms of time dependent masterdata but it was a little old limitation.(some time in 2013)
    If temporal joins are required where the result set is depending on time-dependent master data, InfoSets have to be used since CompositeProviders can't provide that functionality.
    I am not sure whether it was solved in the latest release and dont remember an OSS where this was addressed.

  • I recently changed Broadband provider

    I recently changed Broadband provider and my email address, which was also my Apple ID. I have managed to change my Apple ID and icloud on my ipad and iphone 4 to the new email/ID, but cannot change icloud on my Macbook Pro (which is on Lion OS x 10.7.5). It keeps coming up with a box to tell me there is a problem with icloud and shows the previous email/ID. But when I enter the password for the old email/ID it does not recognise it. This means I can no longer sync the Macbook with the other 2 devices. Can anyone help me solve this please?

    you need to contact the provider of your old phone and find out 1) if the provider unlocks phones and 2) what the procedure is to get the phone unlocked.

  • I changed my provider in the icloudwindow appears the old apple id. with the new apple id, which is working, will not accept. what i have to do?

    hi, i changed my provider in the icloudwindow appears the old apple id. with the new apple id, which is working, will not accept. what i have to do?

    Actually you always use ethernet..
    MBA does not come with ethernet port.. but apple sells both a cheap usb to ethernet and a much more expensive and much faster thunderbolt to ethernet adapter. With ethernet to eliminite this silly situation of setting up wireless over wireless, so if you make any change you instantly drops you off the network. Like cartoons of people sawing off the branch they are sitting on.
    But you can reset.. no reset will do anything at all to the material on the hard disk. You must deliberately erase it.
    Read the info because you may only need to do a soft reset. That is hold the reset for 1sec (2-3sec is fine)  as long as you don't hold it for a full reset.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3728
    Even a full factory reset will not harm your files in any way, (or any further!!)
    I am "concerned" that you have no backup to vital files on your TC. That is not wise. TC are no more immune to failure than any other hard disk.. (actually latest ones use the cheapest green WD drives money can buy) and keeping files in only one location is a receipe for disaster. An external drive is much more accessible.. cheaper and tend to be more reliable. There are too many things to break in the TC.. it is designed as a backup target for TM. Not a file store.
