Change computer : Adobe suite is not working so well anymore

Hi, I've just changed my professionnal computer & re-installed Adobe creative Suite standard CS but it isn't working well anymore
Illustrator doesn't open all the file it should
Indesign is so slow I can't work and shut when it's too busy
Is there something I've forgot to install on the new computer?
And I want to upgrade for CS4, will it be a problem since Creative suite isn't working so well anymore?

By chance it is still a Windows XP!
The settings of the printer are the same that they were with the old computer!
Illustrator : for exemple it doesn't open a file that I've used before, which is a .ai file! Why this file, I don't know! and my collegue can open it.
Computer technicians here don't know anything about Creative suite, and Adobe won't help me because my version is too old (although I'd like to upgrade to CS4). It's crazy because I won't upgrade until the problem is not fixed!

Im going to make this simple and short.

Installed cs5 master suite.

Tried to reinstall my cs5master suite. Will not install.
NOW I have no adobe products, I.E. photoshop, dreamweaver, Flash, etc. and Im forced to work from my laptop.
I have tried reading the exit code 7 log, and now Im stuck.
Dont know what to do or where to turn? I have been on with support..they referered me back to the exit code 7 help files!!?? wtf.
I know I messed up by un-installing cs3,
ANY HELP would be apprectiated.
IM WILLING TO PAY SOMEONE TO GET MY ADOBE PRODUCTS WORKING, I CAN INSTALL PC ANYWHERE AND LET YOU HAVE AT IT.
I have been at this for over a week, my only other thing I can think of is reinstall windows, or buy a new machine.

Why does my device not work as well anymore

It's been quite some time since this device worked properly and consistently. The GSM module is affixed to a window pane with all blue LEDs. Occasionally, one or more may turn red and I'll have to reboot the device. But even when it's up, my signal hovers between 1 and 2 bars. Oh and if I go to the basement, forget about it. Wireless coverage to my basement is great, but not the extender coverage.
What's to be done about this?

Service not working so well anymore

I'm at a bit of a loss where to start here. It seems that lots of things are starting to go slow or break with my bt broadband.
The broadband phone on the home hub has stopped working a couple of months ago and recently, after buying a new tv, we tried downloading a movie. It started ok but after about 10pm it just kept stopping meaning that a 2 hour movie took over 4 hours to get through (we gave up in the end).
To add insult to injury, I find that I have just gone over my 10GB useage - because I had to keep re-trying that movie!!!
Has the broadband speed, homehub phone and general service slowed or been downgraded recently?

can you post the adsl stats from your router may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or use a-z, if netgear enter 192.168.0.1) and run btspeedtester http://speedtester.bt.com and post the results.
are you connected to the master or test socket or somewhere else

Have you synced your phone to your computer since changing the password? If not, give that a try as it could just need a little help to make it right on your phone.

How did you install Acrobat, did you install it as a part of Suite installation.
If it is a part of suite then deactivate suite uninstall Acrobat, Reinstall Acrobat using Suite media. Launch Photoshop first and Activate.
Then try launch Acrobat.

Why does Adobe sendnow work and the newest and greatest Adobe Send does not work? I wasted about 8 hours on trying to get Adobe Send to upload 269 files that amounted to 469MB. When it did not work I made a zip file and after a lot of wasted run time that did not work. The first situation gives little indication of when a file is loaded compared to Adobe SendNow. In both cases with Send it failed with a message like only the first 50 can be loaded. When I went and looked none of them had been loaded. With the zip file (I wanted to hide the individual files so they would not be counted) it appeared to work but very slowly and finally said it was done and I went and looked and it had done anything for oever 2 hours except a false "I'm runninng" indication.
Thus, I took a chance with Adobe SendNow and it works great. It never gave me a limit on the amount of files nor on the size of the complete job. It shows me one file at a time when it has finished with the file uploading it. SendNow has never given me any problems.
Why woiuld you want to change the program from SendNow to Send without the newest program being the best, fastest, user friendly program of the two? It just doesn't make sense to me. I suggest that Adobe keep SendNow working until Send is fixed. I would also suggest that SendNow and how it looks be kept, called Send, then modify Send one thing at a time until you get it to the point you need it to be for Acrobat. I have heard nothing good and now I have experienced it that Send is a piece of junk. I wasted most of my work day on giving Adobe the benefit of the doubt to find out I made a very bad decision to trust Adobe to make good decisions on the transfer of a function to another place .... both Adobe's responsibility.without making it painless for your customers that totally rely on you. Don't throw away customer confidence as it is very hard to get it back.

Yep! Verizon living up to it's contractual obligations by not releasing updates. Caveat emptor!
I think there are some reasonable expectations here to keep customer's happy. When one carrier offers upgrades there is an expectation the same will happen across all the carriers. We have seen that except Big Red.
Verizon could have said the update is in MS court months ago and stilled the voice of the disgruntled, or at least redirected it, but instead chose to be silent. Not for market share but for partial blame I think.
We will have to agree to disagree since you only see Terms & Conditions and I, see customer satisfaction.

Yes. It will reset your Home screen layouts.
If the App store is hidden by Restrictions, it will not be enabled by Reset Home screen layout.
You need to re-enable Installing Apps in General > Restrictions.

My (admittedly old and slow) system did this too the first time I opened Reader 11, but it "unfroze" after about fifteen seconds, (an eternity in computing time, I know, but it did eventually open all the way) What you're seeing on the right is the "Tools" panel initializing. That's exactly where mine would freeze up on starting. Once it did finally open fully, I clicked the "Tools" link at the top to close the panel, and I opened and viewed a document that way, then closed reader. Now when I open Reader, the Tools panel doesn't initialize and it opens immediately.
Reboot and before you open anything else, open Reader. When you open it, DO NOT try to do anything with it until it fully opens, don't click anything, don't try to switch to another app. Give it time to open fully, and then click the Tools link to close it. Then, open and view a document, and close it. Close Reader and reopen it. the Tools panel should remain closed and Reader should open fully immediately.

Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:
