Change CSV device information in subscription?
We have: SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 SP2.
We have a report subscription that renders in CSV. The ReportServer.config file has UTF-8 for the Encoding for the CSV rendering. We want to leave that alone. We want to change the encoding to UTF-16 for a single report subscription.
TIA,
-Peter
Hi Peter,
Just as you said, we can change the device information settings for the CSV rendering extension in ReportServer.config file. But the change would apply to all the reports on report server. As per my understanding, I don’t think we can change the CSV device
information for a single report, let alone a single report subscription.
Thank you for your understanding.

Katherine Xiong

i need to change my account information so my devices will sync together, however i do not have my email my ipod account is linked to and i dont remeber the password. In short i need to remove my ipod from my old itunes account but i cant log on to that old account. What can i do?
You'll need to reset the password that account then before you can transfer these purchases to your iTunes library and your iPhone.

If that doesn't work, you'll need to contact Apple support directly by phone and have them walk you through resetting the account information.

Adobe sending false information on subscription change
I've been trying out Adobe Create Cloud on a monthly basis. I quit in the middle of the second month only because I don't need creative software at the moment (95% of my work is programming).
I then got an email from Adobe stating the following:
Since we were unable to bill the payment method on file, your subscription to Creative Cloud has expired and we have deactivated the paid features on your account. If you did not intend to cancel and wish to reactivate your subscription, please update your billing information.
Of course, I was concerned, my account was paid until May 8th. I wanted paid services for the month that I had paid for. So, I called support and they assured me that my account would continue to have paid services until May 8th--despite what the email said.
I run my own business, so I wanted to let Adobe know what was going on. I think it highly likely that I am not the only person to get erroneous emails with false information upon changing their month-to-month subscription status. I figured this email probably just has the wrong content in part of the email--an email template probably got copied and not adequately edited for this specific use case. I also figured this was probably
Soaking up support call time with people wanting to know about their credit card and paid features
Damaging Adobe's conversion of month-to-month subscribers to yearly subscribers.
During my phone call to support, I clearly detailed the contents of the email.
Here's what support had to say about these emails: "Don't pay attention to those emails, they are mostly spam". Yep, that's what the support supervisor had to say to me. He said don't pay attention to any email Adobe sends you.
I figure the right thing to do is for someone at Adobe to open a ticket on the erroneous messages being sent to month-to-month users who change their subscription status. And, since support obviously had no interest in these emails going out, I'm hoping that by posting this message here, that someone who cares will see this and open a ticket to fix these emails.
Or, maybe everyone will learn to do what support suggests--just stop paying attention to Adobe's emails.I've been trying out Adobe Create Cloud on a monthly basis. I quit in the middle of the second month only because I don't need creative software at the moment (95% of my work is programming).

It's possible to change the device address of a NI2503 board
It would be nice to change the device address of a NI 2503 Switch board.
I have several NI 2503 Switch Boards in my PXI 1006 Chassis. After installing the boards and performing a MAX Refresh the device addresses of the boards are listed in a random (?) order. So its troublesome to get the information which device is related to which slot.
I have more than one 1006 Chassis with the same configuration of NI 2503 Boards and I may avoid to have different software versions with different device numbers for the chassis.The short answer is no you can't modify the device numbers for the switches.
The long answer is that device numbers are set by the bios and you can't modify them. In your 1006 chasssis there are 3 buses and in each bus the devices start at some number like 15 or 20. As the slot number increases the device number decreases. The best way to view what device numbers are assigned to which slot you need to open the pxisys.ini file on your computer. The slot number and device numbers are total dependant upon your controller. The best place to verify that you have the correct ini file is to see the following webpage : PXI VXI/VME and PXI Controller Peripherals. The ini file is only an indicator of
the settings in the bios. If you change any of the devices then you will lose functionality of that board.
There is some hope though. One thing that you can do is use the IVI support for the switches. If you download the Class Drivers for switches, then you will be able to create an IVI devices and logical names in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). The IVI devices will hold the address of the module (i.e. PXI0::14::INSTR). Then create a logical name that points to the IVI virtual device. This logical name can then be referenced in LabVIEW instead of the module address. Then when you need to modify the slot number/device number of a device you simply need to modify the IVI device. There is a tutorial that will step you through this process found in the Developer Zone at : Using Measurement & Automation Explorer to Configure Your IVI System

Welcome to the Apple community.
I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Post your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
If you have already changed your account information with Apple at my Apple ID, in order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID) -
Can't get device information: Operation already in progress
Hello,
I am trying to connect my Microsoft Notebook Mouse 5000 and having a bit of trouble. I am following the instructions I found here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bluetooth_Mouse
I have all the packages installed and am able to search for and find my mouse. The problem is when I try to connect to it. I have tried using both these commands
hidd --connect <bdaddr>
hidd --show
Both of them give me the same error message. "Can't get device information: Operation already in progress"
All the information I have found on this error just says to use the first command, which did not work.
Any ideas on where to go from here?
Thanks in advance.Hi,
If you have the shadow directory function running (http:///help/lms_admin/index.html?config_EnblDsblShadowDir.html) then you will have a group of flat config files that are not linked with LMS in any other way. That is to say that the files generated are simply text files residing within the shadow directory that should mirror what you have in the database.
This function is one way. LMS generates the file upon config change to 'shadow' what is in it's database.
In regards to the C2960 24TC-L, you need to obtain the sysObjectID for the device. For example:
WS-C2970G-24TS has a sysObject ID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.527.
If you navigate to the Device Status Page: http://:1741/cwportal/group/lms/lms-deviceadmin
There you will find 'Supported Device Finder' where you can enter the device [IP,Display Name, etc].
You can also navigate to Device Center, look for the star icon on the same line as 'Device Status' and click on it. Then choose 'SNMP Walk'. This will return the OID in numerical format.

I have a full Creative Cloud Subscription, but I only use Photoshop and Bridge. I want to change to a less expensive subscription but it is not clear what steps I need to do to make this happen. Do you have a simple step by step guide? Seems that there is lots of help to upgrade but not down grade.
FIRST check with Adobe to find out if you may cancel what you have without a fee
Adobe contact information - http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
-Select your product and what you need help with
-Click on the blue box "Still need help? Contact us"
Then cancel what you have
-cancel http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/return-cancel-or-change-order.html
-or http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cancel-membership-subscription.html
-or by telephone http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/phone-support-orders.html
And finally buy a new subscription

can somebody please tell me where i am making mistake??sorry, for late reply..
i changed code for displaying mac address correctly (thought it should correct the problem but, still same error).. here's the change..
for (int i = 0; i < devices[temp.getSelectedIndex()].mac_address.length; i++)
int j = (int)devices[temp.getSelectedIndex()].mac_address;
j &= 0xff;
MACAddress.setText(MACAddress.getText() + " : "+ Integer.toHexString(j));
Localloop.setText(Localloop.getText() + devices[temp.getSelectedIndex()].loopback);
anyhow, it is showing exception in this line..Broadcast.setText(Broadcast.getText() + devices[temp.getSelectedIndex()].addresses[i].broadcast.toString());
i wonder what could be problem in that line .. ??
{for last value of i, it showed like fe80:0:0:.... in IP Address field; and ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:0:0:0:0 in subnet mask .. before exception occured..
i suppose i know what it is but, still not sure.. what is it??} -
SPA514G - Device Information Only?
I have a few different models of the SPA5xx phones. We got a new SPA514G but can't get this thing configured.
We upgraded the firmware thinking it may fix things, so we are at the latest 7.5.5
When accessing it via the web interface it comes up with
SPA514G Device Information
There is no way to login as admin, or change to basic | advanced modes etc. It is just a view only mode. Other phones we can go in and we get:
SPA502G Configuration Utility and can change anything we want.
What's going on here? How do we get the Configuration Utility?Thanks the the tips Dan, you were correct it was 'locked' to call manager. I found a page that instructed how to switch it:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-33361
Things are much better now.
Thanks! -
Hello
I got an photoshop subscription card at US and now i'm trying to install it at my computer in Brasil.
How can I change my Country information in order to suceed?
TksHello,
You would need to create a new Adobe ID to reflect the country change since the server would detect that you are not in the US.
If you find that this resolves your issue or was helpful, could you please take a moment to come back to this discussion and mark the post as helpful. Doing so greatly benefits your fellow users

Does restoreCompletedTransactions return information about subscriptions?
Hi,
This is what the StoreKitGuide says:
Although nonconsumable products may be recovered using the built-in capabilities of Store Kit, subscriptions
must be restored by your server. You are responsible for recording information about subscriptions and
restoring them to users.
Does it mean that restoreCompletedTransactions only returns products which are non-consumables?
OR
Does it mean that restoring of the content is the developer's responsibility? I understand this part as long as StoreKit will provide me a list of purchases made using this iTunes account.
I have a subscription model and was planning to use restoreCompletedTransactions to get a list of subscriptions purchased by the user when they moved devices so that I can restore it on the new device. If StoreKit does not return me a list of purchases made using the iTunes account, how am I going to be able to validate the purchase?
If someone has worked with subscriptions and has faced this issue, I would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Thanks in advance,
-TRSI have the same problem with recstoring subscriptions. And my question is identical to your post. Did you get any conclusion?
Best Regards,

What procedures exist for change raw devices to filesystem?
What procedures exist for change raw devices to filesystem?
I understand that only you can:
- Backup Full (System with raw device) and Restore in System with Filesystem
- Export/Import
Specifically I want to know:
A backup (created in MaxDB 7.5 with DB in Rawdevices) can be restored on another System, with DB in file system??
Someone could give me details of the procedure?
Someone knows another method?
Greetings to all.> Specifically I want to know:
> A backup (created in MaxDB 7.5 with DB in Rawdevices) can be restored on another System, with DB in file system??
No problem as long as
- the target systems database version is at the same patchlevel (or higher)
- the target database is big enough
- the target system has the same endianess (you can e. g. not import a backup from Windows to HP-UX)
A SAPDB/MaxDB backup has no information about the source filesystem setup, it contains only pages. There has "just" to be enough space to restore them.

DNS -
Some folks resolve download and other connection issues by using either OpenDNS or Google Public DNS services. The best use is to use it as the DNS configuration in your modem/router/gateway device, but often the configuration in the computer or iOS device will over ride the other configuration if you don't have access.
Open DNS;

Synchronizing device information between ANI server and nGenius server
Dear NetPros,
Is it possible for us to synchronizing device information between the nGenius server and the ANI server?or under the nGenius server, I have to add the device one by one?
As I know, it is possible for ANI server to synchronize the device information with the Resource Manager Essentials under the LMS 2.1
Currently I had installed the LMS 2.1 and the nGenius Real-Time Monitor 1.4 on the same system.
Thanks.
Regards,
SteveCurrently, there is no direct way to sync the data between RTM and ANI. These are separate apps with separate db's and do not integrate with LMS. The way to import devices into RTM would be to first do an Export to File in RME to get the csv list. Then edit the csv file to remove the extra credentials that RTM do not need and the devices like routers etc. Then Use the Bulk Add Import feature in RTM to import them using the csv file
