i want to change Customer Master Address Data using using RBIDE00 report program but when i execute the report it will accept input from batch file
but the same is not getting updated in customer master .
please help me to resolve this issue .

Use T.Code XD02.
Enter Customer No,Company code,Sales Org, Distribution channel and division and press Enter or
Enter Customer no,company code and click on customer's sales area, you will see Sales Org, Distribution channel and division,select the Sales org,Sales Org, Distribution channel and division and press enter.
You can make necessary changes to customer master

Report to fetch the text information from customer master sales data

Dear Experts,
We have come up with a requirement where the business want a report/list of the customers for whom a particular text is not maintained in customer master -sales data.
There are many Z text id are configured and are maintained in Sales data- extras- text. In addition, business also need some key fields from the customer master such as name, city, delv plant, payment terms, sales off, sales grp etc.
I could not get any standard table where the text is maintained with the customer numbers. Table STXH can give the customer numbers for a particular text id type but what is maintained against the given text id is not fetched from the table.
So we need the valuable inputs to realize the requirement.
As an proposal, we are aiming to develop custom Z report with the FM READ_TEXT to get the text information with the customer no ( object type KNVV and text id ). But for the additional information, what should be the actual logic for fetching the data. say if this FM is used, what should be the sequence of the logic and ideal selection parameters.
In addition, we aim to use BAPI BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2 to fetch some of the customer ifnormation but many fields are not found in this . can we use some other bapi which can provide the complete general/sales data of customer ( delv plant, sales off, sales grp, custo grp, incoterms, payment terms etc)

I guess the best would be to check in ABAP General forum on the READ_TEXT sequence/ logic etc..
For customer details, the available BAPIs are:
BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL
BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL1
BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL2
However, you might have to check classes in SE24 to find any existing classes and its method yo give you all the information of a customer. Also check this thread: [BAPI for customer details like in IDoc DEBMAS;

I would like to use the attribute 1 to 10 fields in customer master general data to fill up relavant to customer . i have seen some SCN postings regarding activation of those fields technically.
i want to create some data in the attribute same like customer group 1 , while creation of customer master , i shall select the drop down and save it

You can change the login ID address, provided that it is not an @icloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com address. You will need to sign out on all your computers/devices and sign back in again with the new ID.
However, once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
All is not lost, though. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account, move it to another account, or reactivate it if you delete it.

If you are mailing using "iPhoto" you will see mail stationary like this.
Use the "From" menu to select the account you want to mail from. That will set the default address to the address set in the selected account.

Change Customer Master using CMD_EI_API MAINTAIN_BAPI Method

Hi Experts,
I am using CMD_EI_API=>MAINTAIN_BAPI method for Creating Customer through Custom program. The Creation of Customer Master is working fine.
I have another requirement i need to perform the following for the Customer Change
1 . Delete all Phone , Fax and SMTP entries from the table and create a new entries for Customer.
2 . Delete a Contact Person based on the information from the legacy system.
I am facing problem in the above two issues
ADR2, ADR3 and ADR6 entries are retrieved for customer.
this values are populated and passed to the method with Task as 'D' - delete.
there is no error message from the Method. when i call commit statement
1 . the address details are not getting deleted in the tables
2. if a contact person is deleted then i am getting a short dump while commit.
Please help me if you know the details of MAINTAIN_BAPI method whic can be used for the Deletion purpose.

Customer master Address field changes

Hi Experts,
SAP standard functionality says that when there are changes in the address details on the customer master, they are automatically updated in the succeeding documents. But, I dont find that happenning. Is there any SIS update or update group that i should use for this to happen? Any ideas..

Try this:
Delete Field: Ship-to-Party (most of the time its same as Sold-to-Party in Sales Order).
Re-enter the Ship-to-Party and Save.
This will update the changes.

Creation and change customer master in same LSMW

Hi Experts,
I have a created customer master uploading using batch input recording in lsmw.
Now i have scenario like if the customer already exists i need to change that customer accordingly.
I hope most of u would have come across such issue,for time being i tried makin 2 recordings for creation(XD01) and change(XD02)
after assigning 2 structures for each creation and change, but i don know where to check whether the customer already exists and how to skip respective recordings....
Pl suggest steps after this, if this one correct........
Or if there any alter method pl do suggest me..

Hi,
In the begin of record, you can check whether a cust already exist in the system. Based upon the result you can change the Tab Name and Tcode.
Just give this a try.

Customer Master Text data label display in BEx query

In my query output i have the customer number and its text displayed. The data comes from customer master infoobject.
But the label is displayed only for customer number.
But I need the label for text also needs to be displayed.
Kindly let me know is there any possibilities to display the label for the text.

For 0CUSTOMER , name attribute is there so it will work fine, for others like 0MATERIAL, 0COMP_CODE etc. you can follow the steps which i have posted in above reply.
Use the same steps for 0Material, creation of Z- infoobject with reference char. of 0Material.....
Create one custom 'z' InfoObject lets say ZCUSTOMER with Reference Characteristic of 0CUSTOMER and add it to the data target, map it with same field for which 0CUSTOMER is mapped and load data into target (DSO, cube) or if you are reporting on multiprovider then assign it.
Because ZCUSTOMER is created with reference of 0CUSTOMER and mapped with the same source field , ZCUSTOMER will act as copy of 0CUSTOMER.
In query designer drag 0CUSTOMER and ZCUSTOMER. change display setting
0CUSTOMER display as Key only
ZCUSTOMER display as Text only.

Best way to handle single line Customer and Address Data

Hi, We have customer data in a single line means name, address everything is in a single line. I am now suppose to cleanse this data using Data Quality. Now my question is how to parse this data. Normally I have dealt with multiple line or address data which I can map to input fields of the Address cleanse transforms. In this case, Shall I just map that single field to "Address_line" of the Address cleanse transform? It should be able to parse or shall I parse all the fields using some function in Query transform and then feed into Address Cleanse transform?

CATT - vendor/customer master address field length over

when use CATT to record vendor/customer master,the address some fields length are over recorded field length(ex. ADDR1_DATA-NAME4,ADDR1_DATA-STR_SUPPL3...etc)
is there any config in CATT to solve this kind of problem?

When you are doing your LSMW batch input recording, on selection screen (where you specify the sales org, distribution channel, division, account group, etc) please put a flag on "Use central address management" checkbox (SAPMF02D 0100 > USE_ZAV).
In this case you should be able to see and fill the desired fields.
