Change default Apache to Webstar

After installing Dreamweaver 8 - assuming the 4D Webstar would be used as it has been for several years, the Apache app became the default...How do I get rid of the Apache & return to my 4D Webstar?
Thanks for any help with this frustrating problem that no tech support folks I've talked to can solve.

Apache is the default web server shipped with Mac OS X. If you've installed a third party web server, it's up to that web server's administration tools to stop and start the web server. You almost certainly won't be able to start it via the normal System Preferences -> Sharing, but I'm assuming that 4D have provided some other method of starting and stopping the server.

I run a LAMP server and I am currently hosting some .pdf's for college, being shown using the default apache Indexes option (with some .css I found)
I would like to add a button, visible when hovering, to mail each file to an email address (to be asked each user), specifically, a kindle address (I don't think it changes anything).
This is the general idea...
I don't know the AMP part of LAMP. I hunt around for the right scripts and tweak the bits I understand.
Both msmtp and mutt are installed and working properly.
Is there a standard way to accomplish what I want? What options do I have?
Feel free to send me somewhere else, just asking you guys because I like this community. Been following the wiki/forums while trying to properly setup my arch server^^

AFAIK there is no way to actually modify the output of mod_autoindex apart from adding a Header, Footer and CSS. You might need your own script to handle this.

How to change default unit on Database 11g

If I define my column:
USERID VACHAR2(8) --> Default USERID VACHAR2(8 BYTE)
How can I change default unit BYTE to CHAR as the following
USERID VACHAR2(8) --> Default USERID VACHAR(8 CHAR)

I have set Database system with the following SQL:
alter system set nls_length_semantics=char;
alter session set nls_length_semantics=char;
But, It does not match.
And when I insert data, the following error occured.
SQL> insert into binhtest values('初期化パ');
ORA-12899: value too large for column string (actual: 12, maximum: 8)
I've checked value of NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS, it is CHAR

How to change default FCoE QoS class - Nexus 5020

I see that on a Nexus 5020, the default FCoE QoS class is 50%. I am not using FCoE so I would like to adjust this value to 0%. I switch complains and says I can't change default values. How should I go about getting around this to eliminate the FCoE queue and give 100% BW to default? Thanks.

We have a lot of servers which have to work hard.
So, our OEM very often generates messages like these:
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora90.tsb.kz - CPU Utilization is 99.95%, crossed warning (80) or critical (95) threshold."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - Disk Device c8t60A9800043346C384C344A4A63516D6Ad0(ssd4) is 99.7% busy."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - CPU Load (Run Queue Length averaged over 5 minutes) is 20.78, crossed warning (10) or critical (20) threshold."
I need to change default tresholds for mentioned metrics but I can't their defenition in SYSMAN.MGMT_*-tables or suitable settings in OEM GUI.
And I have no time to edit treshholds manually for each target. )

Modification of Metric Thresholds (as this is what you are referring to), should be done using the Metrics and Policy Settings link (to be found in the Target Home page).
Don't mess around with the SYSMAN tables!
Best thing to do here is to start using Monitoring Templates for this.

How to Change Default User Directory without changing System Directory

Hi Everyone,
I need to change default User Directory for my JDeveloper 11.1.1.0.2.
Default User Directory = C:/JDeveloper/mywork
Default System Directory = *<JDEV_HOME>/System*
Now I Need to Change it to
My Default User Directory = C:/Monty/JDev11g2/
But System's Default Dir = *<JDEV_HOME>/System*(Same)
For this i explicitly Set variable ide.user.dir to C:/Monty/JDev11g2/ in JDev.boot file as explained in Installation document.
Working fine but it contains System Folder too. I don't want this.
Any Help to find me separate these both as it works for Single User.

How to change default compile directory tmp_ejb?

Someone knows how to change the default directory "tmp_ejb...." in WebLogic Server
7.0?
This is the default directory where WebLogic Server 7.0 generates and compiles
the EJB's declared in config.xml.
I try to specify the attribute TmpPath="ANOTHER_TMP_LOCATION_DIRECTORY_FOR_EJB"
in the EJBContainer node but still doesn't work.
The same thing happens when I test this attribute on EJBComponent declaration.
Someone knows if there is an enviroment variable that specify this tmp_ejb location
path?
It's false that the tmp_ejb is located where the config.xml file is placed.
I have 3 weblogic servers and they haven't the same behaviour.

Could you tell me, step by step, how to change default approval for ResourceAuthorizerApproval (only for my new defined resource).

Ok, I made new tamplate (copy of existing one), there I changed Template Level Approval Process and set allowed resources. It seems to be ok :)

You need change the IKM. This values are hardcode in the IKM.
You can create a new IKM and the values used are a options of the IKM.

Why is Acrobat involved in this process at all? Why don't you save directly the pdf from your email program directly where you want it to be? Acrobat is just adding another step to this process.

How to change default Ovi Player store ...

I need help from you people.
I had installed Ovi Player. Whenever I try to open Ovi Player, the default store gets’ open is "India". I change the store location to "Germany". When I do the search for particular music, it will again take me to "India" store instead of "Germany" store. In addition, most annoying is that I have to re-login but my user id and password will not work as its different store. Also when I go via music.nokia.de and try to login, it open Ovi player and since default location is "India", it takes me to India store and my login credentials do not work.
I ask Nokia care on how to change default Ovi Player Store location but they are unable to provide any good answer.
I already un-install / re-installed but won't work. Do any of you have answer to my problem? I want my default Ovi Player location to be "Germany" instead of "India".
More information, my regional settings have location as “Germany” and language as “English”.
Please help.

This error is sometimes caused by a corrupted MDataStore.db3 file used by the Ovi Player. This file will need to be deleted with the Ovi Player closed. Then open the player and the datastore file will be rewritten by the application:
Close Ovi Music Player and delete the MDataStore.db3 file:
Vista C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3
XP C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3
Both of these locations are in hidden folders. So, to view them users will need to:
Open Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files and Folders
Once Ovi Music is opened again the MDataStore.db3 file will be rewritten to this folder.
  After that manipulation try to install the Ovi Player once again:

I have gone into settings through Sounds made the change, but it does not register as the default even though the ringtone chosen has the checkmark beside it. Ringtone still lists the factory default under sounds & vibrations.

How to change Default Finder Windows Size?

Hi all:
New Finder windows show Macintosh HD and there is no problem in keeping the size or view options every time I open a new window (command + N).
I can change "New Finder windows show" to another folder and works just as well.
But when I open a folder in a new window (double click on an icon folder) the size of the window is very small and different from the window displayed by using command + N.
Finder saves and applies default view options to all windows without a problem, but not the default size or in other words:
default windows size is different from new finder windows size.
In Snow Leopard I could change default size of all windows holding down the Shift key while dragging and changing the size but in Mountain Lion it does not work.
I have also deleted all files .DS_Store but neither works.
I searched a lot but can not find a solution to this problem.

As far as New Finder Windows (command+N) are concerned, there's no problem.
All other folder's Finder Windows I have not modified manually are displayed with the default size shown in the attached image. That is the window size that I want to modify.
