Change default ordering for search results?

Hi,
I have just switched to using Mail.
It seems the search results are always ordered by rank as default, but usually I have some intuition about when the message was sent so for me it would be great if there was a way to have results ordered by date by default. Is this possible, perhaps with a plugin or applicescript?

If you enable highlighting, the box the end user has is selected by default and you cannot change that. If you want that option added in a future version, submit a feature request.

How do I change color of hyperlink search results in WebHelp Pro?

I'm trying to figure out how to change the color of search result hyperlinks when using WebHelp Pro in RH8. The links currently are vibrant blue and purple after clicked on. I can't find anywhere in the style sheet or in the skin editor options to define this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In your .css file, use something like the following; the "A:" would be your default link, and the "A.topic:" would be a different class of link (we use it for some in-topic navigation links). Note that the order in which the qualifiers appear is important. Follow the LoVeHate method (Link, Visited, Hover).
Feel free to try it and use your own combinations (you might not want the expanded letter-spacing, for example). We also reversed the underline format from the default html (none for link and visited, underline for hover).

What setting do I need to change to have a search result file (pdf. or whatever) open instead of automatically download?

Firefox downloads files automatically when opening a opening a search result. What setting do I need to change to have the search result file (pdf. or whatever) open instead? Something changed yesterday and I lost the ability to open the files vs. download.

Normally, when I use my online account, when i select a document to open with excel or with adobe, the applicaiton installed on the PC, is used to open the files.
Can you check the under control panel, default programs, and see what program is associated to the PDF files?
When you try to open one of those pdf files from your back, what happens?
If you download them to the HDD, are they automatically associated to ADOBE?

Default Setting for Searching in Acrobat 6 - Please Help!

Hello.
We are in a bit of a bind and hoping someone can help us out. We need to know if there is any way possible to change the default setting for Searching in Acrobat 6.0 from "MATCH EXACT WORD OR PHRASE" to "MATCH ANY OF THE WORDS".
We know this feature can be found in the Advanced Searching pane, but it needs to be changed for each document individually on a Search. We need to do it globally and automatically so that no matter what we search, it ALWAYS does MATCH ANY OF THE WORDS first without having to go to the Advanced Search pane.
Can anyone help???

No, you have no direct control over how the Form Wizard behaves. There are things you can do with the design of the source document that can influence how automatic field recognition works. For example:

Does anyone know how to change the order for printing pdf files that are part of a portfolio in adobe acrobat 9 pro? The documentation seems to say that it prints files alphabetically by filename rather than by the internal sort order. This won't work for me. Any ideas? Thanks.

How to change default thresholds for some metrics of all targets.

We have a lot of servers which have to work hard.
So, our OEM very often generates messages like these:
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora90.tsb.kz - CPU Utilization is 99.95%, crossed warning (80) or critical (95) threshold."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - Disk Device c8t60A9800043346C384C344A4A63516D6Ad0(ssd4) is 99.7% busy."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - CPU Load (Run Queue Length averaged over 5 minutes) is 20.78, crossed warning (10) or critical (20) threshold."
I need to change default tresholds for mentioned metrics but I can't their defenition in SYSMAN.MGMT_*-tables or suitable settings in OEM GUI.
And I have no time to edit treshholds manually for each target. )

Modification of Metric Thresholds (as this is what you are referring to), should be done using the Metrics and Policy Settings link (to be found in the Target Home page).
Don't mess around with the SYSMAN tables!
Best thing to do here is to start using Monitoring Templates for this.

Ok, I made new tamplate (copy of existing one), there I changed Template Level Approval Process and set allowed resources. It seems to be ok :)

Hi Jim,
yes after I imported my .cr2 raw files into new catalog it started to work. Windows 7 still does not recognize them but I can edit them as you said within the Lr5.6 and then export them into .psd or .dng files...as needed.
I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.

I have a scenario, When I search a keyword in TREX Search of Portal, I am getting the result. Is it possible for me to give background(Alternative) coloring for the ResultList(1,3,5,.. results in one color, and 2,4,6,.. results in another color)? If so, please guide me, how to achieve this?

Hi Venkatesh,
It will surely work out.
But you must have added a different layout which is not suitable for search result rendering.
The layout controller should be Simple Layout Controller.
And then u can have a CollectionListRenderer where u can mention ROW ALTERNATING.

[Access 2010] Change default formats for data types

Whenever I import data, the default format for Boolean data types is "-1,0." I know how to subsequently change this format to "Yes/No," but I'd like to change the default
setting to "Yes/No." Is this possible?

I found you post the same question in other place and got the advice. I agree with Mr. Kees suggestion. The data type is a build-in default setting with Access, we can't change it. We may try the workaround via VBA to test.

Change font for search results? RH 9

I've been asked by a client if we can show the same font in the search results that we use for the Contents TOC - Trebuchet 10. I can't find it in the skin settings. Can anyone help?

As Column, mentioned, you must do this in the output files as far as I know.
Go to whfform.htm <http://www.wvanweelden.eu/output_file/robohelp-9-and-earlier-webhelp/whfformhtm> and change the lines
setFont("Normal", "Tahoma","8pt","Black","Normal","Normal","none");
setFont("Error", "Tahoma","8pt","Black","Normal","Normal","none");
setFont("Hover", "Tahoma","8pt","Gray","Normal","Normal","underline");
I believe this will change the search result fonts.
Note: You need to save the modified whfform.htm and paste it in your output after every generation.

Change the colour of search result highlight?

Hi i am wondering 2 things. Firstly, why the default colour that a search result is highlighted in is a strange medium-dark blue, and secondly why there is no option to change it.
Its really hard to see any search result on almost any document, and its common knowledge that almost all documents in general have black text.
I thought the main purpose of any search tool anywhere in the world was to save time trying to find a word amongst hundreds or thousands of other words.
I guess adobe with their millions of dollars and experienced team weren't able to think of this.

Click calendars at the bottom of the page the click on the i symbol for info and then you can select the colour you'd like.
