Change default page to Dashboards

Hi,
When i log in Presentation the first page that appears is Answers. How i change this to Dashboard?
Thanks

What link to you use to login to OBIEE?
The standard link should be : http://www.<servername>:9704/analytics/
If you go there, it should default you to Dashboards. But depending on where the last place you logged out from, and if your browser cached your last OBIEE page, it might send you to Answers.
To force it to Dashboard, use the following link: http://www.<servername>:9704/analytics/saw.dll?Dashboard
Good luck!

  • Change default page of OBIEE

    Hi, everyone:
Now I am trying to change the default page to a new page, and I have already set up the PORTALPATH system variable and make it avaible. But now my problem is that all the users in system, their default page in "My account" is "My dashboard" but not "Default", which makes PORTALPATH unavaible.
So, is there any quick way to change their default page from "My dashboard" to "Default" , and not to disable "My dashboard"?
Thanks a lot for your kind help.

Thanks... But I can not open that link now. Maybe for network reason. Would you mind help to paste it here?

  • How to change default page in webclient

    Hi,
For business role Ic_agent, the default page is identify account when you login. I wanna change the default page to interaction record. How to configure? Thanks!
    BR,
    ROBERT

    Hi Robert
    1. check which is the Navigation bar assigned to the profile assigned to Agent.
2.. follow path : Customer Relationship Management  Interaction Center WebClient Basic Functions Define Navigation Bar Profiles, look for the navigation assigned to your profile.
    3. selecting your Navigation bar profile from Define Profiles and goto Assign Entries to Profiles, here you have Navigation Bar ID and Tittle. Against each of the navigation bar id a position has been assigned.
    4. The lowest position assigned to Navigation bar Id will be set as default.
In your profile lowest position has been assigned to Identify Account, you assign even lower position to whichever ID you want to assign as default.
    Hope this will help.

  • Change default page size in iWeb?

Is it possible? How do you do it?
At the moemnt I am having to adjust each and every page manually and that takes ages.

I am using a software called iWebsites which can change the default page. This way I can open another new page making it the default preference and possibly change its size. Normally, I get the size thing correct in the first place. Some images survive well as gifs while others are retained as jpgs. I don't oversize my pixs. It's just for display ...

  • How do you change default page size in pdf?

I purchased CREATE solely to create a pdf file from a scanned document. I created the PDF but the default page size is 30.15 x 20.83 INCHES. I cannot seem to change the page size. I called support services 4 times (talking with Sakthivel, Shashank, Medhet, and one other.) Each time they indicated that they would connect me to the correct people and they disconnected. I want some answers please. This seems to be a simple question. Is Adobe CREATE merely a scam?

CreatePDF, perhaps?  Try the forum at http://forums.adobe.com/community/createpdf

  • Change Default Page Orientation

After fiddling a bit with the settings in Ambrosia's Easy Envelopes (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/utilities/easyenvelopes/) I now find that that the default orientation on the printer dialog is always landscape.
How do I change the default page orientation on either the Standard or a saved preset from landscape to portrait? (Yes, for a saved preset I tried clicking on the portrait image and selected "save" but that didn't change what was selected the next time.)
Thank you for your time and attention.
    - nello

I am not sure what the Ambrosia software set, but the page format information - scale, orientation, and paper size - aren't saved in the presets you mentioned or when saving a new preset.
You could try deleting the com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs.plist file from your home's Library/Preferences folder. Or you could use TextEdit to reset the orientation by bringing up the Page Setup dialog and changing the orientation to portrait and selecting Settings->Save as Default.
    Hope this helps.

  • Change default page attributes

I am trying to design a standard framework for our developers using the portal
(e.g., standard header, footer, etc). In particular, I would like to change a
couple of default page attributes such as "hidden" and "layout type". Any ideas
where this could be done? Thanks.

I never even thought of that - Word woman that I was!  Thanks so much - I shall give it a go!!

  • Change Default Page in Tab

Hi all, I have Parent Tabs and Sub-Tabs in my application. Could anyone please show me how to change the default page under Tabs? Thank you.

    Hi Nguyen,
You issue here is not with the parent or child tabs.
Based on user you want to show page1 or page 2 as their default page once they login. Is that correct.
Here you need to perform some some re directions based on user.
I guess your application should be landing in page 1 for the user whether he is in group1 or group 2 .
I would suggest you to create an application item say : F_FIRST_TIME
Create a branches on these two page before header on load
On Page 1 create a branch on page load before header to redirect to page 2 based on a condition : F_FIRST_TIME is null and Logged in user group is 2
On Page 2 create a branch on page load before header to redirect to page 1 based on a condition : F_FIRST_TIME is null and Logged in user group is 1
On both pages create a process on load before header setting the F_FIRST_TIME to some value  "NOT FIRST TIME"

  • Change default page size

When printing a front panel the default page size is letter. My windows printer has A4 as default page size. LabView always overrides my printer's default page size to letter.
The problem: I want to print programmatically the front panel. With the page size letter I get a broad left and bottom margin on the A4 page. I didn't find a possibility to change the default page size programmatically or manually.
I use LabView 2011 on Windows Vista.
    Thank you for your help
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,
i couldn`t find a programmtically way to set the page size to A4 in LabView. You can change parameters like orientation and print method (Postscript..), but i couldn`t find methods to determine windows printer dialog options.
A possible work around would be, to use System Exec VI to perform a print command on a prior LabView created report file (Word or PDF). There are several command line print tools on the web.
    Kind regards

  • Changing default page margins for Web Intelligence

Is it possible to change the default page margins for new Web Intelligence documents.  The default size is 76px which most people find exceedingly large.
The defaultconfig.xml file can be modified to specify default fonts, page size, orientation, etc. Can anything be done to this file to change the default page margins as well?
Any help would be appreciated ...
    Thanks

    Current Functionality
The default 'Page Layout Margins' are set to 76px each for a new Webi report.
Create a new Webi report - Go to Page Properties - Page layout - By default, Top margin=76px, Bottom margin=76px, Left margin=76px, Right margin=76px.
    Requested Functionality
Wanted to set the default 'Page Layout Margins' to 0px instead of 76px each.
    Expected Added Value
There should be an option in Webi / Infoview to set any property value to any required default value. This should be independent of the user, because it may differ from user to user.

  • Change Default Page

    Hi,
Is there a way of setting the first page the user sees to the Document List in Info View? It is possible to change each one individually but would be far easier to do it globaly in one go.
    Thanks

What version you are on? In XI R2, you can set your preferences to open a dashboard, or directly pointing to a folder/category, etc. and you can save those setting to all users.
In XI 3 onwards, this functionality is not available in InfoView. But i saw somwhere there is custom code you can get it from tech support with which you can change the settings for all users

  • Default page in Dashboard

    Hi,
I have 5 Dashboards, I want whenever user select a perticular dashboard, user should be navigated to "Home" page on respective dashboard.
Can we configure something like this?
    Regards,
    Jitendra

Assuming you are asking to assign default dashboards to users dynamically, providing the instructions below:
You need to create the PORTALPATH System Session variable and populate it using a Initialization Block.
Within the Initialization Block, you have to enter SQL but I've also seen people use LDAP. If you use SQL, you can either hard code a value for the default dashboard path or you can have it query a database table.
The value you'll need to enter is as follows:
    /shared/<folder_name>/_portal/<dashboard _name>
substitute the <folder_name> and <dashboard_name> for your own.

  • Changing default page title

I'm getting ready to create a site with more than a few pages and was wondering if there's anyway I can change the default "Evan's World" page title to the one for my site? I obviously can do it manually, but that's gonna get old reeealllll quick...

Well, as far as I know that is the only way in which to do it.
If you duplicate the pages after the first one is done then you don't need to recreate anything apart from changing what text and photos etc that you want. Everything else stays the same, eg. page banner, navigation bars and footers or copyright. Do it this way and everything else is there. The only thing you change is the text.
That is the way I did mine and nothing was left out on any page of my website.
