Change default program documentation headings

Hi,
When you create online documention for a program (SE38 > Documentation > Change), you get standard headings appearing automatically, like:
&INTEGRATION&
&PREREQUISITES&
etc.
Is it possible to change this pattern to get other headings to appear automatically? So for example creating new documentation displays:
&INTEGRATION&
&PREREQUISITES&
&ZAUTHOR&
etc.

Hi,
better don´t do it. I tried it once and does not work easily since there´s a function which reads what sections (the ones among &) have text for displaying it in in a help window. If you create your own &section&, this will not be read by the function.
The form for documentation is a SAPscript form and the texts are saved as standard texts:
Text Name       your programme
Language        EN
Text ID         RE   Program/module pool
Text object     DOKU       Online Documentation
Style           S_DOCUS1
Form            S_DOCU_SHOW
So, there´s much to create as Z-development. Moreover, I haven´t found a place in customizing where to assign the new form to the ABAP editor.

Hi Jim,
yes after I imported my .cr2 raw files into new catalog it started to work. Windows 7 still does not recognize them but I can edit them as you said within the Lr5.6 and then export them into .psd or .dng files...as needed.
I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.

How to change default program...?

In the Finder I have changed the default program for eps-files to Photoshop instead of Illustrator. However, Bridge keeps opening eps-files in Illustrator... I know I can ctrl-click and choose Open with... but I would like to change the default program for eps into Photoshop. How can I do that...? I can't find the option anywhere...

Did you try it already?, there is a sperate file type association that let's
you choose to .ai with Illustrator (see file type Illustrator)
I can only change eps together with ai and I don't want that of course!

I have photoshop on an external drive which is fine... But it is listed as the default program to open jpeg files, and I am often not connected to the external, when I'm on the go.

Yes it does list Preview as default, when the ext is not connected, but once the external is connected Photoshop takes over. I unfortunately can't do anything more about this at the moment as the External decided to stop working.
I've already posted this error on the Western Digital website, but maybe I can get feedback her as well... My 500Gb WD My Book, worked fine for months now, yesterday I started it up and it would not access it, when i went into drive utility it is not listed as a 2 Tb WD Esternal. **** it grew!?! Hi all, i would like to change the default program for opening MP3 files, it is currently iTunes, i would like it to be MPlayerX or QuickTimePlayer, ii am sure it is easy once i know where to look, it is easy in Windose, is has just got to be easier with my Apple

Tim,
Right click on one of your MP3 files and select "get info". In the get info screen you can select the default program to open the file. Then select Change All.. to make it the default for all MP3s.

How to disable APP and change default program in registry

Dear all,
it is possible to disable all the app (that appears in the start screen) in Windows 8.1?
Our users are a little bit confused and we prefer to use the old program (example Windows Photo Viewer and not Photos APP).
Let me know if it is possible and how to do it.
If yes, where we can edit the registry key to make the default program Windows Photo Viewer? And other programs? We would like to set Windows Photo Viewer as default app on all our computer in domain. It is possibile to edit this setting in registry?
And not manual from GUI?

According to your description, you want to open the file without using metro app.
We don't need to disable all metro app.
You can use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool to change the default programs associated with a file name extension.
1.Deploy your Windows image to a test computer.
2 Log into Windows and use Control Panel to configure your default application associations.
3.You can export the default application associations that you have configured to an XML file on a network share or USB drive. For example, at a command prompt type the following command:
Dism /Online /Export-DefaultAppAssociations:\\Server\Share\AppAssoc.xml
4.Use GP server to enable the following group policy to modify the default Associations on the client machine.
Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>File explorer>Set a default associations configuration file.

Why make life hard for yourself? Just right-click any .g3pp-file, then left-click "Open with". That's all!

Changing Default Programs

I want to change some of the defaults on my computer. Mainly I want to change the default program opening PDF files. I want to make it so that Adobe Reader NOT mac's preview program automatically opens PDF files. How do I do this?

Select a PDF file, use Get Info (Command-I), choose the application you want to open the file, then click "Change All..."
You may have to do this more than once, as PDF files created by different applications may be treated as separate types by OSX.

I'm having trouble with this. Been digging through gconf all day and still no avail. I'm looking for a way to change which program opens images. Ever since I installed gimp it has been opening them instead of eog. How can I change this?

If you are using gnome, then you can right-click on a jpg and select "Open with other Application". Select eog and it should become the default after that.

Hello, do a Get Info in the Finder on any winmail dat file, look fot the Open With, choose your APP, then click Change All button.

Can't change default program to Pages

Hello All,
I have a strange issue. When I create a .pages document in Pages, the next time I try to double-click it open, it tries to open in Word 2003, even though Word is not the default program for .pages documents. When I try to do a mass "use this program as default" in the Get Information window, it simply reverts back to Word, whereas, when I do a file individually, it work fine. When I try to open .doc files with a double-click, it will open in whatever I have set as the default for .doc files.
Why does Pages not recognize itself even when the default for .pages files is Pages?

Indesign CC + Windows - can't change default program

I have upgraded to CC. I have set all default programs to open the various file types except Windows will NOT let me set InDesign as the default for opening indd files.
I can open indd files from within InDesign no dramas, but just cannot associate the program with the file type.
I've tried two methods:
1. After choosing 'open with' I can browse to, and select InDesign to open the program (see below), but then nothing happens and it InDesign is not added to the list of programs I can choose from.
2. I have tried going through control panel + "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program" - same thing happens I can select .indd and browse to InDesign but wont let me actually set that program to open this file type.

I'm having the same issue.
I did not uninstall a previous version after installing CC, and CC was the most recent version of InDesign I installed (and I believe there's been at least 2 InDesign CC updates that I've installed since the initial installation).
I've browsed to the InDesign exe, as sc_rpa did in #1 above, and it never gets added to the application list.
I've tried going through the control panel, same thing.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled InDesign (several times, now)... and just can't get it to work. For some reason, it's as if Windows thinks InDesign.exe is not a true executable/application.
It's really affecting convenience and efficiency for me, not being able to open my .indd files directly from the file manager.
Has anybody figured this out, yet?
I'm on the 64-bit Windows 7, if that might make a difference.

Changing default JTable column headings

I've created a simple JTable using the following constructor:
JTable table = new JTable ( numRows, numCols);
and I would now like to change the default column headings ("A", "B", "C" etc) to something else. I'm trying to use the following method
setColumnIdentifiers
but how do I access the DefaultTableModel associated with table so that I can call this method?
Is there another way of changing the headings of my simple table?

Stop firefox changing default program of .pdf extension on install

i need to install firefox on a terminal server, but when I have installed version 31.00 on client machines it always changes the .pdf file extension from Adobe Reader to Firefox's version. I need to be able to install this without fear of having to change the default file association for each user..
can anyone assist in this please?

this change was introduced through https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452254 but should only apply when no other program was set as pdf viewer during the time of the firefox installation. (also see comment 38, it apparently doesn't happen during a regular update or when firefox isn't set as default browser in the installer). if it is really overwriting the adobe programs in your environment i'd recommend filing a new bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org with more details about your system...

Change default program used when sd card installed

When I insert an SD card in my Macbook Pro containing RAW Images, my Nikon program opens (auto play) to import the photos. My preference would be to have Adobe Lightroom open by default instead.

Launch iPhone -> Preferences -> General -> Connecting Camera opens: <put the app you want in here>
Also look at iPhone -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Edit Photos: <put the app you want in here>
