Change display screen?

Is there a way to change the information displayed on the Now Playing screen? For a lot of my music, the composer is very important, and I want to be able to show it on the screen in addition to artist and album.

The only way to do this would be to add that info at the end of the song title. The song title is the only part of the "now playing" info that scrolls across the screen.
You would have to do this to the songs in iTunes first, then re-sync your iPod in order to reflect the changes.
You can change info in iTunes by right clicking on a song and choosing get info/info (for single songs) or get info (for editing multiple items).

Yes you can get by the SHDB transaction
GO to SHDB. click on the new recording... give the name of the recording as ZFB02.. enter the tcode FI02 and press start recording..
Put the Document and open all required screens.. you need to put the values in the required fields to be caputred in the recording.
Come back and save.
Now, if you are planning to make a BDC to change the FI document than you can use the BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_CHANGE.

Have you noticed any difference between your MacBook and others at the Apple store? Wondering whether this is a configurable setting at the system level, i.e., DPI.
You can default Firefox to a larger zoom level to avoid having to zoom every page. You'll still be able to adjust the size for individual sites as needed. It sounds as though you are aware of these add-ons:

There are some discussions about changing coming in Firefox 22 (I think) to address higher density displays like the Retina display. So perhaps there will be a built-in setting to address this in the future.

I am trying to find a way to change the screen saver for my apple tv while I stream my music. Anyone have a solution? Besides my photos, can i show the awesome equilizer? Or can I show the album artwork screensaver that the macs have? I feel like this feature is much needed on the Apple TV while I stream my music to the Apple TV 2nd generation!

you may want to try using a feature called Airplay Mirroring to show whatever you'd like on the screen while your music is playing. Change Password Screen error in - External Facing Portal

HI,
We have developed an external facing portal for anonymous users and the EFP has protected content which will redirect the users to enter logon information to access it.
The process of authentication also working well in EFP but we are getting some strange error when the password was "reset' by administrator.
Here is the process...
1. Password 'reset" by administrator
2. user clicks on "protected content"
3. Logon screen displayed
4. After entering details, should be redirected to change their password but instead of that we are getting "Java iView Runtime error"
I need expert views on this to solve.
This is happening only when accessing EFP, user will be redirecting successfully to change password screen when accessing through "/irj/portal"
Any solution.

Here is the scenario ..
1. User's password was reset by administrator.
**That's fine.
2. User gets redirected to change their password when logging (first time after reset) ... when accessing via .. http://<server>:<port>/irj/portal
**That's ok too, this is just a redirection. At this point I would be doing https for external customers though.
3. Occured "Java Ivew run time error" when the user trying to login from External Facing Portal ... via .. http://<server>:<port>/irj/portal/anonymous?guest_user=partners
**At this point you will have to look at your .trc log files. (logviewer) If this is just an access denied issue then look at permissions in the roles or groups. If you are assigning a new password, is that effecting a group or system membership? The .trc files will give a heads up.

Can Photoshop CS6 be used with Interactive Display Screens?

Our High School uses large interactive display screens (Sahara Clevertouch) in each classroom connected to a mix on Windows 7 & 8.1 laptops and desktops.
We have the same problem with all of them that only seems to happen in Photoshop:
If you use a mouse or the trackpad on a laptop, even when plugged into the Clevertouch, then everything works fine.
If you then try using the touch on the screen as an alternative to the mouse, it detects the movement, but turns into panning mode (little white hand) rather than whatever tool you where using.
Bizarrely if you start the touch off the side of the page and move onto the page it draws the line correctly: the problem only occurs if the line (etc) starts on the page.
Can anyone let me know the setting I need to change to get Photoshop to behave normally?

Also whenever I change my volume using the fn+F7/fn+F8/fn+F9 keys, the little on-screen display doesn't pop-up any more. I would like to fix this and any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to disable the 'Change - Display' Button in Cluster via SM34 ?

I have a View Cluster maintained with a transaction wich calls SM34 passing it the Cluster.
I need the dialog be only in display mode, so i'm looking for a way to disable the button Change<->Display.
Does somebody knows how can i do this ? maybe with an event, the button does not appears or well making the button does not change the display mode (does not change the field VIEW_ACTION siwtch from 'S' to 'U')

Hi Frank,
On SAP 4.7 Version
1). Goto SHD0
2). Enter the transaction code as SM34
3). ENter the transaction Variant as say ZSM34
4). Click on the create button --> this will take you to the sm34 screen. If you want to default some value or disable something on this screen just hit enter on this screen. You will get a popup window to select and restrict.
5). You can further go to next screen and deactivate the menu. On the popup screen you will get a button MENU FUNCTIONS.

Changing the screen ? Macbook pro 2006/2008

Hi all !
I need to buy a new mac laptop, but infortunately, I can't use the LED screens (yes, I know, it's a pity - it gives me serious headaches, and no one computer builder seems to take these kinds of problem in consideration), so I can "only" think about the last generation of macs laptops without LED-backlight screens, the Macbook pro 2006/early 2007.
But I was wondering something : if I can find a later one, before the unibody generation, like the 2008 one, 15", (with a LED-baclight), and find a Macbook pro 2006 non-LED-backlight screen, 15", will it be possible to change the LED screen to the non one, and so giving to the 2008 computer a non-led technology, or will it be some incompatibilities at some points ?

Thank you for your answer, but yes, I did. And even if it's not soooo fast on a anti-glare LED one, the headache come anyway after a while.
I also have used special calibration software for this kind of problem (the one with sunglasses icon). Honestly, it gives me maybe half an hour more of work before headache. But a 3 days migraina (or migraine, too late to know the right writing) for 1h30 of work on a LED-screen is not something I can handle every day.
The fact is that I have to work also at other places than home, or wandering ones. So, that's why I wonder if it's possible to change displays, and ask the wonderful Apple community. :-)

HP Mini 110 - 4108TU , Change display unit

Hi ,
In the screen resolution setting under display it shows Digital Flat Panel ( where as I am using my laptop screen itself ). Because of this my screen does not fit into the display of my laptop screen.
The resolution selected is 1024 x 768.
Please help me as to how do i change the display .

That is too bad about system restore not being enabled. I can understand that, considering how small the mini's hard disk is.

Change Display Resol-Sparc 5 - SOlaris 8

I am new to the Unix word,I have a question for you, I got a Sparc 5 with TGXPlus buffer, I am unable to change the display resolution, how do I do that?
The default resolution is 1152x900, I want to change it to 1024x768, so I can use it with a regular PC monitor (I have the adaptor: P#130-3034-01), with the default resolution I can't seem to be able to make it work, the screen on the PC-monitor is black (I tried 3 different PC-monitors), maybe changinfg the resolution I can make it work. All the PC-monitors I have can use a max resol. of 1240x...
I don't have m64config commnad on my sparc.
I tried to use fdconfig with no luck, all I can get from this command is #fdconfig -list (which I get the type of buffer I have), if I try something else, like #fdconfig -res 1024x768 or #fdconfig -help, it tells me that I don't have that command in the system (but I can see where it is!).
There is any way I can change the resolution?

I was able to change the resolution on my monitor, buy you had the instruction as:
OK setenv output-display screen:r1024x768x77
This did not work for me, but I tried chanching the rword 'display' for 'device', like this:
OK setenv output-device screen:r1024x768x77
(just for the heck of it!) and it worked.
Thank you, even th I am able to change the resolution I still can't use it with a regular pc-monitor, I wonder if I have a bad adapter..mmmhhh.

20" display screen now has black border

My screen suddenly has about a 2" border of black on each side and a 1" black border on top and bottom. Toolbar, desktop picture, etc. all show up as normal. However, I am only able to use about 60% of the screen. In some apps such as Quicken, I can't reach the sizer because the bottom of checkbook register is now in the black part. May not even be a prob. w/the display, because altho the screen of the PC itself has no black border, the images in some apps are cropped as described above. I have tried changing display preferences and black border remains. Ideas/solutions will be v. much appreciated.

Sounds like you'll have to take it in to the Apple store for service. This happened to my wife's iPhone and they just replaced it.

Permanent Crash related to changing display settings while FCP is open.

Recently, the display settings (arrangement) on my two monitors started changing by itself while I was working in FCP 6.5. I'm using ancient monitors (Viewsonic MB90 and Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 920. I just don't have the money to upgrade right now). Tis was annoying but I dealt with the problem by creating two different windows layouts. Then things got worse (the only thing I had done was install 8 gigs of additional memory on top of the original 2). FCP started crashing and now I can't even open the application. It doesn't react.
Apple recently posted a not very informative acknowledgement of the problem with changing display settings while FCP is open, but it doesn't suggest solutions to my problem. It would be helpful to know a) what resolution and refresh rates are best for these old monitors and b)how to open FCP again. Your help is greatly appreciated.

THIS IS IT!
Disabling the nVidia deep colors for 3d applications solved the uber-annoying "flicker-screen-settings-and-disrupt/crash-other-programs" issue. I specifically only disabled deep colors for Premiere, not for all 3d applications I use, because none of them have caused the same problem as Premiere.
This display-screen setting issue probably occurred because I use a Dell u3011 monitor which displays Adobe RGB color gamut, not just sRGB.
However, now this brings up another question with disabling deep colors (effectively disabling the Adobe RGB use of the Dell monitor):
QUESTION: If I have CG-rendered frames that seem to be created in sRGB and Adobe RGB (in two different programs), what color space should I be mixing/editing them in?
I'm somewhat of a novice with the color spectrum/gamut issue. From what I understand, if I edit both CG images in sRGB, I'll be losing color data from the Adobe RGB-created CG image. If I edit both CG images in Adobe RGB, will I create minor banding effects on the sRGB image because it doesn't have the color range that I'm editing in? Perhaps my question is more relevant to AfterEffects compositing of the images rather than simply/only editing them in Premiere.
The end result is something like an architectural film/ flythrough.

Safe Boot... holding Shift key down at bootup. See if you can set it right in Safe Mode.
