Change download destination? instead of memory car...

hi
i am using nokia 701 with Feature pack 1 , and in the nokia internet browser, when i download a file, like an application for example , it is automatically downloaded to the memory card.
I dont want that ! How can it be changed? checked settings, nothing there... i want it to AUTOMATICALLY DOWNLOAD to phone memory or ASK ME EVERY TIME WHERE.
and please Dont tell me to remove the memory card !!!!

Not possibe to change the download location.
I recommend you using ucbrowser from www.ucweb.com
It has good download manager with resume function.

How to change the download destination for all users in a same machine?

This is the scenario:
My application is going to be deployed in PCs with high rotation and politics inside the company those machines can't persist user information outside a session. This means that an user always is a new user in a PC, and when he logs off, his information (.../documents and settings/UserName/) is deleted by a central machine.
The problem is that my users always have to download the application by JWS, because JWS saves (or caches) the application inside user folders.
I know that it's possible to change download destination by a logged user, not like a global configuration.
My question is:
It is possible to configure the JWS properties (or something) to ensure that there will be only one .jar per machine not per user in the machine?

h264.mp4 is actually the most common 'standard' (4000 video 'standards' aaaaand counting)
mp4 is indeed universal (Mac, Windows, Linux), and since YouTube, the h264 codec has a good installed base .....
you can bump into probs only when it comes to sheer amount of data:
for instance cheap 'digital frames' are sortof over-whelmed, if you try to playback 720/30p in high quality.
I'm not familiar with 21st cent devices as SmartBoards ... again, it could happen, you have to reduce resolution/fps/bit-rate to avoid clutter&stutter in the video.
I'm using such encoded files successfully on Playstation3, WD HD TV or flatscreenTVs with integrated usb-connection (via stick), etc

How do I change the destination folder when I download songs from the Icloud?...I want the songs to go to an external hard drive and not the hard drive on my pc

You might want to ask that question over in the iTunes for Windows forum. They should know if it's possible to change the location to and external drive.

After installing Fireworks CS3, IE shows the download dialog instead of opening PNG images

After installing Fireworks CS3, when clicking a link to a PNG
image, IE displays a download dialog instead of opening the image.
I am not sure why Fireworks becomes the default file handlers of
PNG and GIF without asking or notifying the user during
installation, but I think this is the cause.
Does anybody know how to fix the problem?

Fireworks uses a form of .png as its native file format
(which many people find unfortuante) The Fireworks format includes
some additional information, allowed by the specification, so you
want to make sure that, if you want a .png for the Web, you
export from you Fireworks image, not just
save.
In any case you can re-associate the file types. Exactly how
you re-associate file types depends on your OS.
In Vista, right click on a .gif and select 'Properties.'
Under 'Type of file', click on the 'Change'
button and change the associate application. Make sure the
checkbox next to 'Always use the selected program to open this kind
of file' is checked.

After succeeded to connect my 6021 to the Navigation hand free system, I can use properly the phone to call and receive call, but I did not find the way to download my contacts. The car system is waiting for a transfer, but i don't know what to do on the phone to launch this transfer.

SOLVED! Copy the contacts via NPCSuite to your Memory Card. Then Select All contacts (in the Memory Card) and now it will be possible to send them all via Bluetooth to the device!
Nokia should repair the missing option to send all selected contacts to other devices via Bluetooth...

Change download folder

How can I change the destination of files I download from the internet? I don't necessarily want them going to the "Donloads" folder. I want to have a choice, or specify a different folder altogether. Windows users have this option, I have to believe us Mac users do to. Thanks for whatever help I can get!

Sorry I'm new to MAC. These replies seem to be just showing how you can change the default.
I receive many files a day from customers. I need to select the folder where I put the file each time.
I don't want to change the default download folder or create a preset list of Favourites where I can download.
Any list would be too long to be practical.
On Windows if I set my browser to always ask me for each download then I get an explorer browse window.
I can browse to any existing folder on my drive or even create a new subfolder for the download on the fly.
At the moment (rather absurdly) I'm running Chrome in Windows in Parallels so that I can do this.
Surely there must be a way to browse for the folder natively in OS X?

Download Destination Issue

I'm trying to download my student cs6 master collection onto my windows 7 laptop but when I get to the part of choosing what programs to download it won't let me change the destination to C: drive. It is set as f:/Adobe and is locked to that destination. I have previously installed it onto an external hard drive by accident and have been using that but it has been becoming increasingly time consumming trying going through that when I just wanted it to be on my computer to start with. I have unplugged my external from my computer so it isn't messing with it and still nothing. Please help as quick as possible. I'm in desperate need of finishing an assignment. Thanks.

Note that the Windows 7 & 8 section of the above link states in part:

All examples that I saw till now here, suggestes to change something in the page in Controller but based on something entered in the page. In my case is IN to OUT, I will render some item table with a specific value parameter based what is in the database. Being more specific, I have a html table and one column Col1 has a value and it will have a DESTINATION URL if another column Col2 is Null. I believe I would have to check somewhere if the Col2 is null or not and change the DESTINATION URL property.

we are using Indesign (CS5.5) in a XenDesktop Invironment. Everytime when a user logoff the history of "last open files" are lost.
I think these Data are stored in %localappdata%\Adobe\... and get lost when logoff or reboot the VM.
Is it possible to redirect or change the destination?

These MRU lists are stored in the Registry and/or the user's prefs files. Naturally, if you reboot your VMs or the user hasn't permission to store them permanently, this info will be lost. You will have to use group policies and system variables to point to other locations outside the VM. Nothing to do with Adobe at all.
