Change End time of Recording in Progress?

I know I can change the start and end time of a single show in the View Schedule menu, but this only works before the show has started recording.  Once the show has started recording, it disappears from the View Schedule menu.  Is there a way to adjust the end time of a single recording while it is being recorded?  For example, if I'm watching a game and it is running long and I want to add 60minutes to the end of the scheduled recording time.  How do I do this?

Well, that's a bummer.  Love most things about FIOS, but the menu for the DVR really can be maddening.  Cox's was much more limited but also much more usable.  I wish Verizon would spend less time on widgets and more time on the UI of the DVR menu!!!
Thanks for your reply!

  • Start and End Time in Record Working Time- Weekly View

    HI,
    In record working time we have 2 views, daily and weekly. In daily view, we have start time and end time, which we do not have in weekly view. Can these 2 fields be incorporated in Weekly View?

    Hi Siddharth,
    Can you please clarify what "iView development using NWID" really means?
    - Is that Java Web-dynpro development? - Can it be either Java Web-Dynpro or ABAP web-dynpro?
    - Does it mean that we have to customize the standard-delivered “record working time” application, or does it mean that a custom copy of the application needs to be developed?
    Thank you!

  • Can we change [maximum number of records per page] property at run time

    can we change [maximum number of records per page] property at run time in report 6i

    Ravi,
    I hope you are already done with this. In the invoice there is a nice example you can use on the xml blogs.
    You limit the number of lines per page when you use the xsl commands like this in your template:
    <xsl:variable name="lpp" select="number(13)"/>
    <?for-each@section:LIST_G_INVOICE?>
    <xsl:variable xdofo:ctx="incontext" name="invLines" select=".//G_LINES[LINE_TYPE='LINE']"/>
    <?for-each:$invLines?> <?if:(position()-1) mod $lpp=0?> <xsl:variable name="start" xdofo:ctx="incontext" select="position()"/>
    and then you have the table where you have the data
    <?for-each:$invLines?><?if:position()>=$start and position()<$start+$lpp?>
    and all your lines
    and then
    <?end if?><?end for-each?>

  • Adjust recording end time on a 6416 for a single show recording.

    This may seem like a dumb question but I can't see how to set the stopping time of a recording to end say 30 minutes later.
    I think I just received 1.6 last night, but I couldn't see how to do this in the previous release either.
    In my defense, I normally use a TiVo for recording, but sometimes I have to use the Verizon 6416.
    I was able to do this with an older release.
    I can see how to do it with a series recording, but not with a single show recording.

    Got to DVR menu, select View Schedule, select the show in question and one of the options is something like change or recording options (not at my STB so not sure of the exact wording).  There is a place to modify the start / end times by preset increments.

  • Change Media End Time

    Is there a way to change the media end time? I had edited a project about a year ago and I'm trying to recapture the footage to make some modifications. The original media end time, according to the project, is 01:05:15:15 but now when I try to capture it the the tape ends at 01:05:08:xx. I've tried changing the capture mode from Firewire NTSC to Firewire NTSC NDF but this doesn't solve the problem.
    The ONLY thing I can think of is I may have originally captured the footage using my Canon XL1-s but am now trying to capture using my Sony DSR-11. Could this be the problem? If so, how can I fix this issue?

    The problem is I have everything in a sequence cut exactly how I want it from a year ago so if I recapture the footage new I essentially will have to re-edited the sequence... something I'm not too keen on doing and will only do as a last resort. < </div>
    Yes, umm, duh. That is a new issue. Your original post implies you have a single media file that is giving you trouble.
    The original media end time, according to the project, is 01:05:15:15 but now when I try to capture it the the tape ends at 01:05:08:xx. < </div>
    According to my unique teleportation and extra sensory skills which allow me to not only read your mind but see your work in progress, (I like the monitor mojo, BTW, cute.), this is a fundamental drop/non-drop issue for which you will find all the assistance you need within the manuals for FCP, your Canon and your DSR11. That's not to say it will be easy to find or interpret, but it's all there.
    If you cannot convince your Sony to read Canon's timecode properly and are not able to acquire the original Canon deck, you face the interesting prospect of reassembling your project from scratch which we fully understand you are loathe to do. Looking at your timeline, I'd be irked about that alternative, too.

  • Media Start and End times have changed.

    Hello,
    I have an old project from which I off-lined all footage to save disk space. I only saved the Project files. Now when I open the project to do some changes I naturally have to recapture the original footage. The problem is that some clips have weird media start and end times that don't match the time code on the tapes. Therefor I cannot batch capture them, and the referenced cuts on the timeline reflect these weird time codes as well. Can anyone tell me why this has happened and how I might work around it so I don't loose my edits. Please and thanks!

    anybody have a solution to this yet?
    I opened up an FCP4.5 project into 5.1.4, batch captured some clips, and it changed the Media Start times to 00:00:00;00, and the Media End times then matched the Duration times.
    Anybody know how to prevent this? How about how to repair it?
    In case this matters, or is relevant, when I do a Batch Capture of a clip, it is playing it TWICE in the capture process. No dropped frames along the way, it just plays through it in normal stuttery capture mode, rewinds, plays through again, leaving successful Capture (though with aforementioned Media times problem AND with occasional audio/video out of sync).

  • How do you change the time signature in Ultrabeat? I want to record something in 3/4. Thanks

    Hello,
         I want to record a song in 3/4 using Ultrabeat. I can't figure out how to change the time signature in Ultrabeat. Any ideas?
    Thank you,
                        Evereman

    Hi
    You need to take into account the Resolution (how big is each step) and the number of steps (the Length)
    For example, with a resolution of 1/16, one bar of 3/4 would be 12 steps, 2 bars 24, etc
    You can set these parameters at the bottom of the UB interface

  • SCSM 2012 Change form issue - Scheduled start and end times default to 12:00:00

    I have a report that the Change Form in SCSM 2012 is not allowing users to set the scheduled start and end times.  The date stays correct, but the time reverts back to 12:00:00, and the user has to save to the initial form,  then re-open and
    change the times.
    I checked in the authoring tool, the time/date field is set to full date and time. (I think these are custom fields)
    I am not sure where else to look to adjust any settings as needed.
    Thanks for any assistance.

    Hi Joshua,
    Is this situation on all consoles or few ones? Check the time format on the user's PC. 24h or 12h could affect the DateTime control's behavior.

  • Unable to Determine the Change Date and Time for records in infotype 2011

    Hi Everyone,
    We need to know on when the clock-in and clock-out records were interfaced to SAP in infotype 2011.
    The change date/time field in infotype 2011 is blank/not populated. Hence, we're unable to determine on when the clock-in records were updated in infotype 2011.
    It is not possible to get the audit logs for infotype 2011 as it is switched off.
    We found this table TEVEN and just the same thing, the field "change on" is blank.
    Kindly help us on how we can determine the change date and time for records in infotype 2011.

    Hi Prasad,
    Here's the scenario.
    On June 3, it was reported that staff's clock-in record on june 1, 7:00AM is missing in infotype 2011.
    However, when I checked infotype 2011, the record is there.
    So, they are now asking me on when this record was updated in infotype 2011 as they are thinking that there might be some delays in sending of the data to SAP.
    The created on and created at in table TEVEN shows the same, june 1, 7:00AM which seems to be not true as on june 3, it was reported to be missing.
    Can you help further on this?

  • Why does my LG Cosmos 2 calendar change the start time to the same as the end time?

    This does not happen all the time but often enough to be a pain.  When I enter a new appointment in the calendar sometimes the phone changes the start time to what I entered as the end time.  I thought maybe it was me but it happened twice today and I watched carefully to make sure I was entering it correctly.  I was and it is the phone making the change.  How do I fix this?

    Hi AyaniB
    It's been doing it for some time. It seems to be random in occurrence. The day I made the post it happened three times. Since then I have been watching carefully and it does not seem to have happened again. Am I missing any phone updates or anything? How do I check that?
    Thanks for your help.

  • 39L4363D - Unable to set padding time for recording start and end time

    Hello,
    I have a problem with my 39L4363DG tv (Software 7.1.90.34.01.1).
    I'm not able the set padding time for recording start and/or end time as described in the [manual|http://www.toshiba-om.net/LCD/PDF/English/L4363-323950-English.pdf] on page 51. Both menu item "start padding time" and "end padding time" are disabled?
    Can anyone help me and give me an advice on how to solve it?

    Hi
    The padding time can be set for programmed recording.
    There is also an scheduling priority
    If scheduled time slots are next to each other and there is more than one minute between the end time of the first schedule and the start time of the next schedule, programmed recording will be performed correctly.
    When +Start Padding Time+ and +End Padding Time+ are set, the start time and end time will be the time plus the additional minutes.
    If scheduling times overlap, priority will be given to the programmed recording which starts first.
    When the programmed recording that started first ends, recording will switch to the next scheduled programme.
    At this time, depending on how far the scheduling times overlap, the beginning section of the next scheduled programme may not be recorded.
