Hi Rekha ,
planned order Unfirmed -
will allow automatic changes with respect to requirement
planned order firmed  -
Any manual change in the planned order is called firmed
and will not allow any automatic changes with respect to requirement
Planned order is just the requirement only there will no change in the WIP .
for example : you have some requirement say PIR is 50 on 31st march you perform MRP
by selecting the MRP type so that you will get firmed planned order for 50
on  1st you have another requirement ( PIR )  for 100  and if you perform MRP again system will create another planned order if this is also firmed . you need to convert manually into production order.
once planned order is converted into production order and there is no link with either routing or
workin process with planned order and is meant for only open production orders . You can convert all the planned orders collectively also
if any doubt come back

  • "CLOSED": HOW TO LOAD FIRM PLANNED ORDERS OF ANOTHER PLAN INTO ASCP PLAN?

    Hi everybody,
How to load firm planned orders of plan 1 into plan 2?
    Business Case:
Customer uses a separate planning for order intake. During order intake the requested due date is validated based on ASCP Gantt Chart. Bottlenecks are resolved. For make items firm discrete jobs are created, if adjusted suggested due dates are manually changed. For buy items firm planned orders are created for manually changed suggested due dates.
If the order is accepted the demand is transferred from the Order Intake MDS into the so called Operational MDS. The firm discrete job will be automatically visible in the operational ASCP Plan (after data collection/running ASCP Plan).
But how is it possible to include ONLY firm planned orders of another plan into your current plan?
    PLAN1 asigned master demand schedules
    - O_MDS1
    - O_MDS2
    PLAN2 assigned master demand schedules
    - O_MDS1
    - O_MDS2
    - T_MDS
I want to transfer the firm planned orders from plan2 to plan1.
    Thanks for all your inputs,

Since you need to run a data collection to load the new discrete job, I suggest you to add a custom step in the data collection.
    This custom step will
    1) select all firmed planned order in plan 2
    2) put the firm planned order into a new schedule through staging tables (MST_ST_SUPPLIES) .
    3) collect the data
Then run plan1 with this schedule defined as demand schedule for your new plan.

  • ERP - SD Sales orders with billing plan (material number change appear)

    Sales and Distribution.
Regarding sales orders with billing plan.
We create the sales order and create billing plan at header or item level.
We issue down payment request(s) upon receipt of sales order.
Often during the life time of the sales order one or more of the material numbers are changed after the down payment request(s) has been issued and paid by the client.
Our issue is that prior to changing the material number in the sales order we have to reverse the payment(s), reverse the down payment request(s) and after the material number change re-issue the down payment request(s) and register the payment again.
We wish to find a solution avoiding all the reversals.
If you have a similar situation please inform how to handle material number change in the sales orders with billing plan.
    Best regards

    Dear Consultor SD ,
There is no setting to create the invoice based on schedule line.
What you can possibly do is create multiple deliveries based on the schedule line and
    then invoice the individual deliveries.
If you want system to split the deliveries based on schedule line, then you will have to include Schedule line also
in the COMBINATION REQUIREMENT in VTLA.

  • How to change the main work center and  work center of each operation when generating work order by maintenance plan

    Dear experts,
I face a problem that system get main work center from equipment master data as a default main work center in maintenance plan when creating maintenance plan. however, if main work center in equipment is changed later, the change will not synchronize to related maintenance plan. if work order is generated from maintenance plan, main work order in order is defaulted from maintenance plan instead of updated work center in equipment.
another problem is that, for those orders generated by maintenance plan, the work centers in  operations is defaulted from task list in maintenance plan. in most case, work center in task list is dummy. Actually the work is done by work center in equipment master data.
My expectation is how to auto replace the main work center and work center of operations in work order with the one in equipment master data if order is generated by maintenance plan? is there any standard configuration or enhancement/BADi that can help with this requirement?
    thanks!
    Wesley

    Wesley,
Sorry - development is the only way.
Another option is to create a batch program that runs before your IP30 run(s) and updates any maintenance items and task lists with the correct work centres.

  • PLANNED ORDER CREATION FROM SALES ORDER SAVING (REQUIREMENT CLASS 200)

    Dear All,
By using requirement class 200, assembly type 4 (dinamic planned order) Iwould like that at sales order registration the planned order for the sales order material is created.
    I have two problems.
The system doesn't schedule the planned order, even if the scheduling parametres are entered for planned order type (relation between routing id and planned order type).
So I have a planned order in which i have to manually schedule it.
The second problem is that the planned order is firmed at creation. I would like that it was not firmed to adjust by MPS procedure the components from BOM modification. Infact at the creation of the sales order The complete BOM is not defined, and I don't want to unfirm the planned order so run th mps procedure.
Can anyone answer to these questions?
    Thank's in advance
    Luca Pastura

    Hi Luca Pastura,
    For Scheduling
    1. You need to Give the appropriate check mark ( 1 or 2 ) In the capccity check of the requirement class configuration (ovzg)
    For Firming
    1. Since youare using dyanamic processing ""During dynamic assembly processing, you can not change the quantities and deadlines"
    2. kindly refer the F1 help for the assembly type inthe OVZG.
    Check and confirm

  • Transfer LTP planned orders to Operational planned orders

    Hi
Can anyone suggest how to transfer planned orders generated from LTP(Long Term Plan) to Operational Plan?
    Regards
    Pradipta Sahoo

    Dear Sahoo,
You can transfer the simulative planned orders to operative planning using T Code MD43.
    Check this,
Copying the Long-Term Planning Results to Operative Planning
    Use
Once you have optimized the results of long-term planning, you can copy them to operative planning.
It is not only possible to copy the demand program to operative planning, you can also copy the planned orders firmed in long-term planning per material using the MRP transaction Interactive single-item planning.
When copying the results to operative planning, you can set the system to create purchase requisitions and delivery schedules instead of planned orders for materials procured externally.
    Prerequisites
You must firm the simulative planned orders you want to copy to operative planning. You can firm planned orders by:
    Making manual changes
    Using the planning time fence
    Setting a manual firming date
If, when copying the data to operative planning, you want the system to create purchase requisitions or delivery schedules for materials procured externally instead of planned orders, enter the appropriate indicators in the Create pur. req. and Schedule lines on the initial screen of single-item, interactive planning (in MRP).
When copying the results to operative planning, the system does not carry out any source determination. If you want the system to create delivery schedules and purchase requisitions to which a vendor has already been assigned, you must maintain the necessary master data in the Purchasing menu before carrying out the planning run in long-term planning.

  • Planned Order creation for Sales Order and Purchase Order

    Hi
    We have a following requirement.
In normal scenario when we have demand for material  which was created by MD61 and in addition to that if there is Sales Order the 1st planned order gets revised. To better expalin this consider possible scenario
You create plan via MD61 for 200 qty .The system creates Planned Order for 200.
Now there is Sales Order for 150 peices. Then what happens is original  Planed Order of 200 is changed to 50 and another planned order is created for 150 peices. The requirement is not summed.
Now in new scenario instead of Sales Order there is Intercompany Purchase Order of 150 peices.
Now the system is not changing original Planned Order of 200,but it created another planned order of 150.So now there are 2 Planned Orders of 150 and 200.
What I want to know is there any way wherein the system will reduce the original planned order (similar to Sales Order scenario)
    Regards

    Hi,
Use Strategy 52 in urs case.
    PIR witll be created .
None convertable planned order will be created.
Once you get sales order for that material.
New planned order will be created which will consume PIR( planned order ).
    Eg.
    PIR 10.
    Planned order 10 qty.
    Sales oder 6
Planned order for SO 6 qty
Planned order through pir will become 4 qty.

  • Purchase Order with Invoice Plan

    Hi,
I need to understand working with Invoicing plans for a Purchase Order. Especially the service PO for the rents and other related services.
How the PO is linked to the Invoice Plan and how the process happens in SAP?
    Thanks in advance!

    Creating an Invoicing Plan
The following procedure describes how to create an invoicing plan with the pre-Enjoy ordering transactions (ME21, ME22, ME23).
The procedure described is also applicable u2013 with certain restrictions u2013 to the Enjoy purchase order (ME21N, ME22N, ME23N).
If you are using the Enjoy purchase order, you will find:
    ·         The Invoicing Plan button and the indicators for GR-based invoice verification (GR-Based IV), service-based invoice verification (Srv.-Based IV), evaluated receipt settlement (ERS), and invoice receipt (Inv. Receipt) among the item details on the Invoice tab page.
    ·         The account assignment among the item details on the Account Assignment tab page
    ·         The Goods Receipt and GR Non-Valuatedindicators among the item details on the Delivery tab page
    Prerequisites
    Vendor Master Record
Before you can use the invoicing plan with automatic settlement, the Evaluated Receipt Settlement Delivery indicator must be set on the Purchasing Data screen in the vendor master record.
(If you wish to enter invoicing dates manually, this is not necessary.)
    Purchase Order
    ●     We recommend using a framework order (that is a purchase order with a validity period and a reason for rejection). The invoicing plan can adopt the validity period specified in the PO header.
    ●     PO items for which you wish to use an invoicing plan must have account assignment irrespective of whether a material with a master record, a material described by a short text, or an external service is involved.
    ●     The GR/IR control facility must be set up in such a way that no goods receipt (or, in the case of services, no service entry) is expected - only an incoming invoice. If you wish to have automatic settlement, you must also set the Evaluated Receipt Settlement indicator.
If you nevertheless wish to allow service entry sheets for the item (e.g. for information purposes only), you must set the GR Non-Val. indicator.
    Customizing
Under Purchase Order à Invoicing Plan in Customizing for Purchasing, you can maintain data such as the desired invoicing plan types, date categories, and date descriptions.
    Procedure
           1.      Create a purchase order with account assignment (framework order).
Click  to access the item overview (or the overview of service lines if you chose item category D for services).
           2.      Enter the desired material or service, the quantity, and the price.
           3.      Select the desired item and click  Account Assignments to access the account assignment screen. Enter the account assignment for this item.
           4.      Click  to access the item detail screen. Check that the GR/IR control indicators are set correctly on the item detail screen.
    ○     The GR and GR-Based Invoice Verification or Service-Based Invoice Verification indicators must not be set.
    ○     IR must be set.
    ○     You must set ERS if you wish to have Evaluated Receipt Settlement.
    ○     If you wish to have service entry sheets purely for information, for example, allow non-valuated goods receipt (i.e. select the GR Non-Val and GR indicators).
           5.      Choose Item ® Invoicing Plan. A window appears, in which the invoicing plan types predefined in Customizing are suggested. Choose the desired invoicing plan type and click  Continue.
You can use the following invoicing plan types:
    ○     Periodic Invoicing Plan
    ■      You use the periodic invoicing plan if the total value of the PO item is to be invoiced in each period.
    ■      The system creates the invoicing dates automatically on the basis of the settings in Customizing.
    ■      The invoicing date and the amount to be invoiced are shown for each settlement period (e.g. month). In the case of the periodic invoicing plan, the amount represents the total value of the PO item.
    ■      You can change the suggested dates and block individual dates for automatic invoicing if necessary.
    ■      You can enter the start and end dates for the invoicing plan.
    ■      With the Dates from and Dates to fields, you can determine that an invoicing plan does not contain invoicing dates extending over the entire validity period of the purchase order but only for a certain period within that validity period. (E.g. within a validity period from 1.1. to 12.31, only dates within the period 1.1. to 06.30.)
    ■      With the Horizon field, you control how far into the future dates can be created. If you enter a date rule that adds six months to the current date here, invoicing dates will be created for just half a year in advance in each case.
The system automatically creates new dates if you change the invoicing plan or when you invoke the transaction for Updating Periodic Invoicing Plans. See Generating Further Invoicing Plan Dates
    ■      The In Advance indicator allows you to specify whether the invoice is to be created with regard to a prior or subsequent period. (E.g. at the beginning of February, either in advance for the month of February or in arrears for the month of January).
    ■      In addition, fields with information on the existing invoicing plan are displayed (e.g. the calendar upon which the date determination process is based).
    ○     Partial Invoicing Plan
    ■      You use the partial invoicing plan if the total value of the PO item is to be invoiced in several partial amounts.
    ■      You get an empty date overview in which you can manually enter the desired dates.
    ■      If you work with a reference invoicing plan, the system automatically generates dates in accordance with the reference plan.
    You have the following options:
    ●      You create a reference invoicing plan in Customizing for the invoicing plan type.
    ●      You enter an existing invoicing plan as reference plan directly in the invoicing plan for the PO item.
    ■      You can flag a date in field B (Billing/Invoicing Rule) as follows:
    ●      As a down payment (percentage or value)
    ●      As an invoicing date (percentage or value)
    ●      As a final invoice
           6.      Click  to return to the item overview.
           7.      Click  to save the purchase order item with the invoicing plan.
You can then start the automatic invoice creation process during invoice verification.
For more information, refer to the section Settlement of Amounts Due Under Invoicing Plans.
Once assigned to an item, the invoicing plan type (e.g. partial invoicing plan) cannot be changed. If you wish to assign a different invoicing plan type, you must delete the item and create a new one.
    Generating Further Invoicing Plan Dates
If you have assigned a periodic invoicing plan to a PO item but have not initially defined invoicing dates covering the entire validity period of the purchase order, you can generate further dates in due course.
You have created a PO item with a periodic invoicing plan for a certain planned procurement. The purchase order is valid from 1.1. to 12.31. When creating the invoicing plan, you specified one invoicing date per month for the first half of the year. You have not yet planned any dates for the second half of the year because you do not wish information from the invoicing plan to be passed on to purchase order commitments at this stage, for example.
By mid-June, it is clear that the PO is to proceed as envisaged, and you therefore wish to schedule invoicing dates for the remainder of its validity period.
    Procedure
To schedule further invoicing dates, proceed as follows:
Choose Purchase order ® Follow-on functions ® Period. invoicing plan
Specify the purchase orders for which invoicing dates are to be generated in the invoicing plan and perform the function.
A log can be created if desired.
    Result
The system adds further dates on the basis of information such as the validity period or horizon from Customizing, the purchase order, and the invoicing plan.
    regards,
    indranil

  • Confirmed date in sales order influenced by planned order dates

    Hi,
My requirement is that the after the MRP is carried out and planned order is generated, the changes in the dates of the planned order, when carried out, shall accordingly influence the confirmed date of the sales order line item when the availability check is carried out in the sales order.
Say, the sales order has confirmed a line item for 25.05.2009. Once the MRP is carried out and planned order is generated and owing to unavailablility of a component, the planned order date (finish date) is manually re-scheduled to say 28.05.2009. My requirement is that the sales order confirmed date shall accordingly be re-scheduled when the availability check is carried out.
    Additional Info : Strategy Group - 20,
                           Make-to Order scenario is employed,
                           Standard Item category TAN,
                           Requirement Class - 040.
Is this possible in standard SAP? If not, please suggest any custom developments that may be required. Looking forward for helpful replies.
Do revert back if more info required.
    Regards,
    Anil Kumar

    Hi Anil,
As Suggested in Above reply to your question.
If Materail component was not available and due to that you had to reshedule the planned order date manually, that definately will affect the material availability date, but i think if material availability will be run once again in Sales Order it will determine the new material availability date, and i dont think there is any need to carry out any enhancement.
Guru's Please correct me if I am wrong.
    regards,
    Paresh

  • Planning file entry and purchase orders

    Hi all:
The documentation for MRP planning states that the planning file entry is updated for relevant changes to the material that includes among other things creation of purchase orders for the material.
In our system, MRP requisition creation does update table MDVM as part of the MRP run. However, purchase order creation does not update the planning file entry, even though the documentation says it should.
Anyone ever encounter this? Are there controls that need to be set?
    thanks in advance
    weston

Not sure where you had read that a Purchase order creation updates the PFE. Have a look at this.

  • Production Order GR with Planned Price

    Dear All,
We are using following steps for production order=
    1) Create BOM, for Semifinished material with Price control = "S"
    2) Create Roting, with all Keys PP01, PP02 and PP03 with Material allocation to respective steps
    3) Standard Cost Estimation using CK11N and CK24
    4) Create Production order using CO10 with Material and WBS Element.
    5) Material issue against Reservation. But the material may be changed after releasing prodction order first time. And Actual issue for the BOM material may be more or less in qty.
    6) Final confirmation with completion of last phase confirmation of production order.
    7) Production Order TECO
    8) Prodction Order Settlement using KO88
Now my problem is while I am doing final confirmation the GR done is with Planned price (Based on BOM) + Subcontracting charges which it is set with production order while releasing it for the first time.
Kindly tell me is the system behaviour is correct or wrong?
We are expecting that GR should happen with the actual material issue price + Subcontracting charges only.
    Please reply.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vishal Kadia

    Vishal,
    This is for your information.
If you have production order of 1 EA- Starnadar Price =10 rs
    Raw material cost=5
    Activity Cost=2
    Overhead Cost=2
    So COM=9 rs
Suppose after production order creation plan cost is 9 rs, hence after confirmation there is no varience (plan vs actual) so actual cost is also the same 9 rs.
Now as you said if system will go for GR against actual cost, that will post in cost of good mfg account at the time of GR.
As per std SAP after GR also you can issue the material to that order, hence if you will go for more goods issue of new material against that order (unplanned issue) of rs 5 for the same order then the actual cost will again change (recalculated), but for that oredr material is allready GR with actual cost, then you will not able settle the cost of newwly issued material on that order.
So whatever the plan and acual cost GR will be done against std price maintioned in material master ( 10 rs)
    This is my understanding.
Hopes that will clear your dought.
    Tara

  • Inconsistency in Sales Orders Assignment in Planning Book

    Hi Experts
When i create sales Orders in ECC,sales orders are assigned  to the Planning Book but some times when i change the Quantity for the existing salers Orders , Changes are not getting reflected in the Planning Book Immediatly.
Some times system is giving pop up like 'sales order does not exist'.
When i delete existing sales order in ECC, the incomming Qty in Planning book should be changed to zero, but its not reflecting.
What measures we need to take to prevent such inconsistencies?rds
    Thanks in Adavance
    Regards
    Vasu

    Hi Vasu,
In general, the above are product allocation consistency checks which
    checks the following
These will display the confirmation date, quantities, used product
allocation settings, sales order , product etc.,
    1) Checks if is there any single assignments without an incoming
    orders quantity
    2) Checks if is there any single assignements without a sales order
    due to error
    3) Checks if is there any single assignements without a characteristic
    combination in place.
SAP recommends to check the affected sales orders again.

  • Plan data on Statistical Internal Order

    Dear gurus,
Presently we have real internal orders for the projects but now we are diverting from real Internal Order to Statistical Internal Order. Before we use to plan data on the real internal order. My concern is by changing the IO to statistical, would it impact on the Plan data? How can we approach the Planning data in the statistical Internal Order?
Also while creating Statistical Internal Order, the system does not allows to select Plan-Integrated Order field. What is the signficance and by not selecting this field, this does impact the plan data on the statistical IO
    Thank you in advance
    Regards

Diverting to Statistical order, system will not allow you make settlement. if you need only for information purpose, then u can adopt the statiscal order.
System will not allow to select statistical indicator & Indicator for Integrated Planning. you will only select one option. u can only select with real indicator
by selecting the "Indicator for Integrated Planning"activity inputs planned are updated
directly on the sending cost center if 'Integrated planning with Cost Center Accounting' is activated in the version. You can then also settle plan-integrated orders/projects to cost centers.which only possible with Real order
I hope this will be helpful
