CHANGE FROM MM TO CM IN PAGES

Hello, I want to resize a document in Pages to 5.5 cm X 8.5 cm So, I go to File> Page set up > paper size > custom sizes. And then I see width and height in mm. So, online I can see 55.000 mm is the same as 5.5 cm and 85.000mm is 8.5 cm. So, when I put those number in the resize option it makes a little peace of paper and not the flyer size that I need.
Is there anybody who can help me with this?

Hi Paul,
Launch Reader, click on View -> Zoom and select the preferred mode. You can also select the Full screen mode by pressing Ctrl + L on keyboard.

How do I set the size of the font so that it does not change from site to site or page to page?

The font size happens when I visit a new site or move from page to page in any given site. I want to have the same size font at all times with out having to manually change it all the time.

If you have the current version of Reader for the iPad (11.2.3), open your PDF.
Click on the upper part of the page so you can see the menus above. Click on the icon that looks like an eye. Then you can choose View Modes: Continuous or Single Page, and an option for Night Mode.

The template is a document in itself, it is not applied to an existing document whether it is a Pages document or a Word document converted to a Pages document.
You would need to either copy and paste content, using existing styles, or apply the styles to the converted Word document.
You can Import the Styles from an existing document and those imported Styles can be used to override the current document's styles:
Menu > Format > Import Styles
The process is simplified if the styles use the same names, otherwise you will need to delete the style you don't want and replace it with the one that you do want when asked, then the substitution is pretty straightforward.

How to submit a bug report for OSB? - restore fails if number of items per page is changed from the default of 30

In the OSB web gui, one of my users found that if the number of items per page is changed from the default of 30, the restore of the file will fail. He tested this using recent versions of Firefox and IE. We have verified this to also be the case using Chrome.
In a directory containing over 100,000 files, moving 30 at a time to find the one to be restored is a very frustrating user experience.
How do I file a bug report for this issue? Is there a workaround for this bug to enable my users to more easily find the file to restore without being restricted to the default of 30 items per page?

Yes there is a bug in the webtool in the current release. You can use the commandline obtool to do the restore, that is much faster and works fine.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Spell checking should be based on the keyboard layout that you've got selected in Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards - if you have an English 'UK keyboard' selected then the spell checking should be English

Published pages layout changes from iWeb page design why ?

In a couple of pages the layout changes from iweb design to published site, text appears out of place and headers mixed with body text ?
I have gone back to iweb but all is Ok within the file and pages visually, just publishing the site makes text changes to what viewers see

How can I stop iWeb from changing the name of my home page?

I don't know if my title really makes sense, but I want to use Google Analytics to measure the traffic on my website. I know that 99% of my visitors enter through the main address (www.ozarkmtnescape.com), but are then immediately re-directed to the home page. iWeb changes the name of the main page from the above address to http://ozarkmtnescape.com/Site%203/Ozark%20Mountain%20Escape.html
The people at Google tell me that if I want to start tracking the traffic on the main page, then I have to figure out how to make iWeb stop changing the address of the main site.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Right click on the date to change its behavior and once you have fixed it resave your template.

Click Inspector in the toolbar, clich the Sheet Inspector buton and click the appropriate page orientation button in the Page Layout area of the pane.
You can also click on a page orientation button at the bottom left of the canvas.
