I currently have a pre-paid monthly plan plus extra 30 GB data for my iPad2. I want to switch to a 2 year contract with 2 lines and 2 phones, one of the phones I want to keep my old Verison number. Is this doable?

It shouldn't be a problem. Just contact Verizon's Customer Service line and ask that your prepaid account be moved over to a postpaid account. They will be able to bring over your phone number and should credit the balance on your prepaid account to your new postpaid account.
You can either leave the iPad on prepaid, or add it to your postpaid account, or cancel it if you no longer want it. Then you can start a new line of service for the second phone. Since you are starting two new lines of postpaid service, you'll have the option of signing a 2 year contract on one or both of the lines to get a discount on a new phone. Or you can start the lines with your own equipment and not have a contract.

Is there a prompt to activate visual voicemail once I switched services from Verizon Wireless to Verizon Pre-Paid Services?

I recently transferred from my verizon wireless account over to verizon prepaid; my iPhone 4 will only allow me to extract voice mail by dialing in *86 and my visual voicemail is not functioning. The message I get is from the phone voicemail greeting screen setup is " Voicemail Unavailable could not authorize access" . Is there a fix for this? please help.

Just got off the phone with Verizon. Voicemail indication and access to your voice from the Phone app is now restricted. There is no Voicemail directly from you iPhone for Verizon pre-paid.
If you can not get to your Verizon Voicemail hit *228 and respond with a 1 and let the message say your phone has been setup.

Will a new S3 purchased on ebay work for Verizon pre-paid?

I am considering a new Samsung S3 for use on the Verizon pre-paid plan. Verizon lists the phone fo $269 in the listing of pre-paid phones. However, I can buy a a brand new S3 labeled for verizon for half this price on ebay. Will this ebay phone work on Verizon pre-paid?

The phone would fit under a Verizon plan and there are many good buys to be had. However be careful of sellers and Verizon would not back this under a warranty. So there is some trade off here to think about.

One Adobe ID can be used to activate any CC subscription twice. So you need to have three different Adobe ID for each of the pre paid subscription so that they can be used.
If you keep the same ID for three CC, it will not activate the third time & ask you to de activate it from the previous one.
You can return two of the subscription & buy them under different ID.

Want to use telstra bigpond mobile wi-fi 4g as a pre-paid after finished 2 year contract

I have finished a 2 year contract and post paid plan on a Netgear aircard 760s and want to use it as a pre-paid but have been told it will not work with a pre-paid sim card. But looking up your websit for pre-paid mobile modems and it is included in the list of modems. Can I use a pre paid sim card in it or not?

If it is a BigPond plan you had then it will not work correctly if at all as the 'BigPond devices will only work on the Telstra network and with a BigPond plan', if it was a Telstra plan then it would work as these are a normal phone service.
Easiest way to tell them apart is on your bill a BigPond one will have an email address, a Telstra one will have a mobile number... otherwise the main difference is that the BigPond one is shaped/slowed and the Telstra one has excess data.
You can in theory have the BigPond ones unlocked to work with Pre-Paid however as their firmware is optimised for the BigPond service it may still not work correctly.

Verizon ipad air will only register if you call verizon pre-paid?

I bought an Verizon ipad air yesterday. I went in on the ipad and signed up for a monthly plan. It told me it would charge me immediately. I then tried to use it and it said that I had used all my data for the month. I chatted with verizon wireless and they said they couldn't see that the payment went through. They told me to call verizon prepaid. I called verizon prepaid and they said that they could see that I had "set up" the credit card, but that I would have to call them any time I wanted to change the amount of data and that I needed to call them to have the payment go through. She took a payment over the phone. Is this right? I thought we were to be able to do all of this from the ipad. What is the use of having the menus if I have to call them anyway?

I am having a bizarre experience in trying to set up my iPad Air with Verizon.
The problem comes down to the "Name as it appears on your credit card" field. My last name is a "Mc*" but that field will not let me capitalize the letter after the "Mc". If I type "McL" as soon as I enter the next letter the L automatically reverts to a lowercase l. If I type "Mc Lxxx" but then go back to delete the space between the "Mc" and the "L" the L again automatically reverts to a lowercase l.
I have turned off all the keyboard settings that pertain to automatic spell check, etc. to no avail.
I even tried typing my name in a Note and then pasting it into that field. When I did that it pasted as it should but when I tapped the "Next" button to go to the next step in the account setup process I got an error message that highlighted that field and when I checked it it hade reverted to a lowecase l again.
This is really baffling and is really p$ssing me off. I bought a new Nexus 7 a few weeks ago and it was a breeze to setup with TMobile.
Other than changing my last name to "Smith" anbody have any suggestions?

You want to use the Assumption of Liability process to merge two individual accounts into one family plan.

Change from pc to mac computer and I want to sync with my new equipment

I change my old computer, but I bought some songs directly from my apple tv, now I want to sync my new computer but I dont want to lost that songs, how can I do it?

Do you not have a backup of the songs on AppleTV, did the old computer drive fail?
If you still have the old computer I'd sync the song back to iTunes on that, then copy them to the new computer from the iTunes folder on there.
If this isn't possible, you may well lose the song on AppleTV by setting up a new sync library - previously synced content will definitely delete, and the direct purchased stuff may too.
You may have to contact your iTunes store from the support pages and ask if they'll re-enable the downloads of the music on the new computer. No guarantees, but they may do so.

Porting from Pre-Paid to Post-Paid

I have a Telstra Pre-Paid plan, and want to port to a Telstra Post-Paid plan. I am currently overseas, and so am unable to do it in person at a Telstra store. I have been told that I can get the credit assessment done by the 24-7 Chat team, but I would require a new blank SIM (which I would be unable to get, given I am travelling). Is there any way that I can port across without requiring a new SIM?? Thanks

That seems unusual... I know that with the reverse, going from post-to-pre paid doesn't need a new SIM card... I would suggest giving the disconnection team a call, they deal with the order for the reverse of it so might be able to help in that way as well... 132200 and say "Disconnection"

Transfer pre-paid phone to contract account early?

I currently have an Alltell Samsung SCH-R430 (MyShot) assigned to my contract account. The phone is physically breaking where you flip it open and occasionally glitches when I'm text messaging, so I can't see what I'm typing unless I start a new message. Well, I found a used Verizon pre-paid phone on Listia and got it to use on my contract, but the phone apparently hasn't been used for six months consecutively yet, which I learned is what it has to be used for to be put onto a contract. The phone I want to activate is a Samsung SCH-U350 (Smooth). Is there any way I can activate it without having it on prepaid for six months? Thanks for any help you can give.

The 60.00 and the 70.00 Plans have been revised to offer more data

Does the Verizon Pre-Paid plan voice/data coverage use the same areas as the Post-Paid plans voice/data coverage, or does the pre-paid plan exclude coverage normally provided through partner network sharing agreements?

Prepaid coverage is different than Post paid. On the website look for coverage locator on the Why Verizon Page. You can select pre-paid coverage only.
