It looks like you might be using CC, in which case CC 2014.2.2 has a very cool, New Guide layout panel
If you are using CS6 (or CC for that matter) there is the excellent free GuideGuide extension panel.  Both would be helpful if you use a lot of guides.

  • Using NetInfo Manager to change GUID

    Hello,
I recently became aware that you can change an active users guid with netinfo manager. Having done this on my own computer, I am now running into a problem where the users files are no longer owned by them, since the guid has changed. What is the correct method of changing the owner of only the users files to the "new" owner, so things such as a users desktop, preferences, and dock are not lost.
    Thanks,

  • Change GUIDs when migrating from SP 2010 to SP 2013?

When migrating custom list schema from SP 2010 to SP 2013, do I need to change the GUIDs for all the fields or can I use them as is?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
After migrating SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, all the GUIDs of the sites and lists would change.
If you just wanted to use the list in the site, it would have no impact on the lists, all the custom lists would work well.
However, if you have some functions or solutions based on the GUIDs of the lists, you should change all the GUIDs for all the solutions.
    Thanks,
    Jason

  • How change guide to wide screen?

All my boxes are HD. On two of them, the guide is wide screen showing 150 minutes of programming. On another it is not wide screen and it shows 90 minutes of programming? How do you change the settings for this?

My guess is that the STB that does not display the wide screen Guide is a QIP6xxx box while your others are QIP7xxx boxes. The 6xxx boxes are simply not capable of displaying the HD Guide. You need to contact Verizon and request that they replace the 6xxx box with a 7xxx box. There will be no cost for Verizon to ship you the replacement STB.

  • SLD change logs ?

Are there any change logs available to determine who made a change in the SLD to a business system, technical system etc ?

  • How do I change the partition scheme to use GUID partition Table.

How do I change the partition scheme to use GUID partition Table so I can get Snow Leopard to download on my 10.5 disk.
When I insert the disk it asks me to select  the disk where you want to install MAC OS X.It only give me one option the 10.5.
when I click on it it says...
"10.5" can't be used because it doesn't use the GUID Partition Table scheme.
Use Disk Utility to change the partition scheme.  Select the disk, choose the Partition tab, select the Volume Scheme and then click Options.
I tried to do what it says and I can not find what it is saying.  This is the info about my MacBook.
    Model Name: MacBook
      Model Identifier: MacBook4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
      Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
      Number Of Processors: 1
      Total Number Of Cores: 2

      Memory: 4 GB
      Bus Speed: 800 MHz
      Boot ROM Version: MB41.00C1.B00
      SMC Version (system): 1.31f0
    Thank you for your help!

The GUID partition option is one of three possible choices (click the "Options" button in the Partition") menu - be careful to have a full backup as changing the partition scheme will force an erasure on the disk. Take a look at this Apple support article for more complete information:
Firmware updates for Intel-based Macs require a GUID partition scheme - Apple Support
Ignore the stuff about firmware updates and just look at the changing GUID partition scheme.
Good luck - and don't forget about the full backup BEFORE making this sort of change.

  • My SLD is configured in SOLMAN sys, How can I connect it with SAP PI system

    Dear Friends
My Basis has configured SLD in Solman, Now I cant use SXMB_IFR tcode in my PI that suggest me some error. saying "error in connection cant read secure connection config" or something like that.  Plus SLDCHECK tcode is also not happy. it suggest that RFC connections are missing.
It is clear that My SLD is not linked with PI system. something is missing in technical system part and its not even bridged. but since I am not a BASIS guy I dont know How can I configure it. Not even my BASIS guy understands that I need to bring SOLMAN SLD to PI.
Can anyone suggests me How can I bring my SOLMAN SLD to PI system so I can run SXMB_IFR tcode ? I need to create some rfc connection like LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI but dont know the connection type like t, or something else. Please englight me by suggesting How can I bring my SOLMAN SLD to PI.
One intresting observation is when I try to run my SLD over url using PI system as host it comes but says SLD is not configured properly and when I did the same practice with SOLMAN host it works fine and I didnt receive any error.
Please reply me. your any help will be appreciated greatly.
    Regards
    Naeem

    Hi,
Preferebly PI should have it's own SLD. And SOLMAN could use PI's SLD.
Please check Installation guide and SLD Administration Guide from Service Market place before finalizing SLD architecture in your System landscape.
I guess SOLMAN will have only one Instance in system landscape. (Not three system landscape like Dev, Qa, Prod).
If you want to go ahead with your current SLD plan, then Change your SLD hostname in Exchange Profile of PI, to SOLMAN Host name.

  • Central SLD Configuration

    Dears,
Recently we installed PI DEV and PI QAS server. At time of configuration we choose local SLD option for configuration.
But now we are getting requirement to configure central SLD.
So please confirm which strategy is good between them and if it is central SLD,Please suggest the
procedure to change local SLD configuration to central SLD.
    Shivam

    Hi Shivam
The SLD planning guide provided previously is the key source to plan, implement and run an SLD landscape
However what it may not deal with specifically is changing an existing SLD landscape to accomodate a local PI specific
SLD and a new Central SLD for Solution Manager (or other purposes)
Some things to consider when selecting Sync options
    1) 1 Dual purpose SLD is not recommended - a central SLD might have different administration requirements than a PI specific SLD
    2) Where possible do not change established import or export lines in either SLD
    3) Keep all SLDs involved in the sync at the same J2EE version, SP landscape and CIM model/content
As the PI SLD can be productive critical - full consideration has to be given to this SLD as you can
still maintain systems manually in a central SLD manually - or indeed in Solution Manager itself (both manually and automatically via RFC) - therefore I would recommend a unidirectional sync from local PI SLD to Central SLD of PI landscape data only - either manually or automatically or indeed explore any available options to have data suppliers update both SLDs (there was some options similiar to this in older SLD versions - but I am not completely familiar with the latest SLD builds)
I would not however encourage full sync or CIM based sync as there maybe established CIM import lines on either SLD nor would I specifically encourage the Central SLD to influence data on the Local existing PI SLD
    Best wishes
    Stuart

  • JDBC to Idoc scenario - change of logical system name

    Hi,
I have a JDBC to idoc scenario that worked. Now i had to change the logical system name from my sender system from ABC_123 into ABC123 in the SLD (Business System - Integration - Logical System name). I did so and also refreshed my Cache.
Afterwards I started the process, but it failed in the Receiver system. The idoc is correct expect of the partner name. My receiver system expect ABC123 - as I changed in the SLD - but PI send ABC_123.
If io look in SXI_CACHE - Services my Business System still got the "old" name (ABC_123).
Did i miss something resp. how can i load the current configuration from SLD?
    Thanks in advance
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
Again Import the changed logical system in the Integration directory of you PI system.
And check the scenario (Sender Agreement, Receiver agreement ) what system they are reflecting.
If they are showing old system then you have to replace the business system in all the scenario.

  • Production SLD in solution manager

    Hi,
I have small doubt regarding SLD (System Landscape Directory) in Solution Manager.
We have an Production SLD in Solution Manager dual stack system, and our Production System (Portals, BI, ERP, PI) was configured to Production SLD in Solution Manger.
We are planning to apply patches for our live production Solution Manager System, I know that SLD will stop while doing the Patches on Solution Manager and this will make our production systems stop working.
Therefore I need to know the correct way around this to allow us to patches for our Solution Manager system.
    Thanks and Regards
    Pavan Morishetty.

    Joshi,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
But in our company we don't want to change our Production SLD from Solman system to any other System (eg. PI, Portal).
If you any other suggestion please update me for applying the patches in Solman System.
    Thanks and Regards
    Pavan

  • Problems in XI 3.0 when switching SLD to HTTPS

    Greetings all,
Our SLD is on our SAP Solution Manager system.  This SM system is the last of our systems running HTTP.  When we try to turn off the HTTP portion of our Java dispatcher on out SM system, it breaks XI.  Specifically:
When in Integration Directory (Configuration) and we try to bring up any communication channel, we get the following error: Attempts to access the application REPOSITORY using HTTP method Invocation (HMI) failed.  Detailed information: Invoking ROA method "ReadObject" via HMI ... FAILED due to following exception message: Connection to REPOSITORY using application REPOSITORY lost.  Detailed information: Error accessing http://<content switch host name for XI Java>:52300/rep/remoteobjectaccess/lnt?container=ejb with user "PIDIRUSER", Response code is 302, response message is "Found"
    ...see screen shot
    Note:
    It's
trying to use HTTP, which we have configured on the xontent switch to redirect to HTTPS (apparantly, it doesn't like the redirect)
The port it is trying to connect to is 52300.  System 23 is our QA XI system.
Our XI system is XI 3.0 running on Netweaver 7.0.
When we turn HTTP back on, on SM, the problem goes away.
In XI we have made the following changes:
All references in Exchange Profile to the SLD are correct and the HTTPS portion points to the correct port/hostname.
    In exchange profile: com.sap.aii.connect.secure_connections = messaging,all
In Visual Administrator, we've changed Server -> Services -> SAP XI AF CPA Cahce:SLD.selfregistration.httpsPort
In Visual Administrator, we've also changed Server -> Services -> SLD Data supplier -> Runtime -> HTTP seetings and we can verify the SLD update is running successfully.
Any thoughts on what is causing this problem?  It's interesting to note: this problem only occurs in our Development and QA environments.  Our production environment is unaffected.

  • Message mapping changes

    Hi All.
I created a message mapping from a custom message type towards MATMAS_BAPI01.
I disabled the EDI_DC40 field and in the idoc communication channel I disabled "Apply control record values from payload".
When I check the final idoc message created, I noticed that some EDI_DC40 parameters were wrong.

    In concrete
<SAP:SNDPRN>host01</SAP:SNDPRN> had to be changed into <SAP:SNDPRN>hostXX</SAP:SNDPRN>. I thought the value host01 came from the sld (logical system name of the technical system attached to the business system), so I changed that towards hostXX.
<SAP:RCVPOR>CFDCLNT200</SAP:RCVPOR> had to be changed into <SAP:RCVPOR>SAPCDD</SAP:RCVPOR>. I thought this value came from the rfc destination in the xi sytem, so I created a new one called SAPCDD and configured it into the idoc adapter.
However, this change in the sld/XI system  did not affect the generated idoc (no, I did not forget to activate ).
I decided to do some more drastic changes:
      - enable EDI_DC40 field in the message mapping
      - enable "Apply control record values from payload" in the idoc communication channel
I now hardcode the wanted values.
After activating the changes, still the same idoc is send towards the R/3 system.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong.
Is it a caching problem or am I doing something wrong.
    Kind regards
