Change header text of currrency field in sap query

Hi,
I have a sap query , fetching data from VBAP, one of the feild fetched is VBAP-WAVWR(cost) , for this feild query automaticaaly fetched the currency field , which i can not see in basic list in Transaction SQ01.
I need to change the header text of this currency field which by default is 'CURR.'. TO 'COST CURR.'

hello Kummr,
in sq01, you can always change the field text as you want , go to sq01 ->change-> basic list , on the right hand side box click the field of "Curr" and change.

Text of additional fields on SAP query show blank

I'm encountered a problem when text of additional fields on SAP query is not working and it's show blank after HRSP is implemented.
SAP_ABA : Rel. 701 Lvl. 3
SAP_BASIS: Rel. 701 Lvl. 3
SAP_HR: Rel. 604 Lvl. 8
Below are the config that we have done before HRSP in table: TEXC_FLD_C and it's work perfectly.
Table Name: P0000_AF
Field Name: ZZAPPRATING
Function Module: ZHRGYYFMPA_PDRATING_TEXT
Exception Priority: 1
Object Type Name: CL_HR_TEXT_IDENTIFIER
During debugging, we found that program (Form: %_GET_PERAS) is retrieve text of additional fields based on structure P0000_AF. At this point, text of fields are successfully take place and filled. However, program try to retrieve the text based on structure P0000 again right after that. Due to additional fields are added on P0000_AF not P0000 and no ZZAPPRATING field found in P0000, hence program has cleared the text which filled in previously. This give the result, text is blank.
Please advise, how should I get this resolved.

How to change heading text for parameter field of type date

Hi,
    After creating a parameter field with the type " Date Time" when I open the report for entering the parameter then it displays the given parameter with the following text:
" Please enter Date in format "yyyy-mm-dd". "
I want to change it to some other text like as:
" You have to enter the date and time in format yyyy-mm-dd . "
Is there any way by which I can change this given header to some other text.
Let me know if anyone needs some more information in this regard so as to solve my given query soon.

              Well first of all I can change only the prompt text that is user defined. I cannot change any parameter as of now whose type is let suppose Date. Since in this case the Business Object itself shows the text which is something like this " Please enter Date in format "yyyy-mm-dd". " .
   Here I want to change this given text to some other format like " You have to enter the date in the format yyyy-mm-dd" or in any other manner.
Also the current Crystal Report version which I am using is 11.0.0.1282.

Changing the label of a field in SAP GUI

Hello SAP Guys,
I would like to change the label of a field in SAP GUI.
I already did it internally because for that field the Shor Text of the label changed:
I went to SE11, and wrote down the appropriate data element, through Translation I changed the entries of SCRTEXT_L, SCRTEXT_M and SCRTEXT_S and activated this change after saving.
It is very strange that after making sure that the
Short Text of that field was changed, I went to trx BP and I could see that the label didn´t change.
I´ll appreciate any help you can give me,

Hi Efrain,
Can you tell me in which screen did you make the screen.
Moreover the changes are not reflected immediately.
What you can try is to create a new record of the transaction in which you changed the label and save the recore. After this try to close the session and reopen the transaction and this should work.
The reason is the label on the screen are not picked up from the data element everytime but from buffer. So when you create a record this updates the database table entry and can also refresh the buffer.
I had the same problem in BP transaction and the above solution worked.

Mandatory field - Header text and Reference field for company code

Hi
In transaction code FB60, I want to make header text and reference field mandatory at the company code level.
For one company code , the header text and the reference field should be made mandatory but for the other 8 company codes , those fields should not be mandatory.
if I make the fields mandatory via the document type , then it will be applicable for all the company codes using the document type.

Which field are you thinking of in particular? Are you wanting to increase or decrease the length?
Some fields are used so extensively that a change to their length will mean adjusting many tables, some of them potentially very large, and hence taking a long time to adjust.
Some standard SAP programs expect certain fields to be of specific lengths and won't work if the length is changed.
Some screens could cease to work.
If you decrease length, then you could lose data.

The Field showing in the infotype 1 is FORPR.
Change the text of this Field in CMOD.
CMOD ->Go to ->tect Enhancements->keywords-> Change ->FORPR
Change the text and check again.

Additional fields in SAP Query

Hi ,
We have a requirement in HR reporting wherein we are providing the late attendance records of the employees. That is the person is scheduled to come at a respective time but he comes in late and this record is created in attendence infotype . Now we need to see the variance in his planned and actual arrival . Majorly all the fields are availabe in the Infosets but the one with the variance is not there . So do we need to create a custom report for the same or it can be handled in the SAP query adding one field for calculation. If it can be handled , how can that be possible .

if SUBSTR stands for substring, then possibly your question may be how to get the substr method as konown in languages like php in ABAP. If SAP Query points to a SAP query as created in transaction SQ01, then you should explain what you want to achieve.
Note: Better ask a specific question and get am answer you can or which is already generalized.
If I need a substr function, I'd create a functional method for that:

Multiple Value in additional fields using SAP Query

I have a question related additional field in SAP Query. I tried to create report about PR and PO using SAP Query. Since one PR can be converted to multiple PO, I decided to create additional field

to display the value of PO that related to the PR. But I meet problem when I want to show several PO number in additional field

HI,
IN SQ02, IF table is already in JOIN, just click on the PLUS sign to expand the strcture.
All the field showing Plus sign in the strcture are selected in your query and with MINUS sing are no selected.
So you have to just click on the MINUS sign for the field you want to use through table field.
Generate the query and execute thriugh SQ01.
If you want to add some other field which is not a part of JOIN,
then click on EXTRAS Button shown in the MENU option.
Click on Create button and system will ask abt the additional field.

How to change header text in MB02

Dear All,
We update qty of the stores acknowledgement in the MB02. However if the qty that was punched earlier has been found to be incorrect as is the scenario below:
GR: 166
Stores ack: 147
GR reversed: 166
Now we are not able to cancel the mat doc because of the diff in the stores ack.
When we go to change the stores ack in the MB02 header text the error thrown is: Qty is already updated for Mat doc.

Is it a Standard error ?. If yes provide the class and the error no.
In normal cases system does not take text into consideration while reversing a mat.doc unless a user exit is implemented.

Hello,
I believe you have created the query in SQ00.
Go to SQ00.
Select your Query.
Click on Change
On the Top Left Hand Corner, you will find "BASIS MODE"
Click on the Basis Mode Button
Once you click on Basis Mode Button, you will get "Title"
Change the title what you are intended to change.
SAVE the entries.
Execute the Query.
You will be able to see new Heading on the Query.

Hello. I'm trying to change header of a column in WD ALV using this code:
lr_col = lo_value->if_salv_wd_column_settings~get_column( 'DESCRIPTION' ).
lr_header = lr_col->get_header( ).
lr_header->set_text( EXPORTING value = 'My perfect text' ).
But it doesn't work. Where was I wrong?

Add the following code after set_text
lr_header->set_prop_ddic_binding_field( ).
this will clear the binding of dataelement text with the column..
