Change Help language
My Help info is all in Chinese. How can i change it to English?

I'd recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

Hi there,
You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

My friend changed the language on my phone I then changed it back to english, and for some apps I download it is in a different language, i have tried restoring my phone and it is still doing this, know how to help? It only seems to happen for some apps and I have spent a long time trying to fix it.

hi! new to imac, just updated to mac os x 10.7.3 and it changed my language to greek (same as my location). original set up was in English. Finder is not responding - i have tried to change it from system preferences but to no avail. I really want to change it back to en. please help!!! Thanks

I have changed default language in the program & have set Language & region in system preferences. My Word (Mac2011) keeps on changing the default language to US english every time I check. Please help!
If you're having trouble making changes to files that are inside your home folder (represented by a house icon in the sidebar of a Finder window), or if you can't get changes to the settings of an application to stick, then please see below.
Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The command may take a few minutes to run, or perhaps longer if you have literally millions of files in your home folder. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign ($) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2 (optional)
Take this step only if you have trouble with Step 1, if you prefer not to take it, or if it doesn't solve the problem.
Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar. A Terminal window will open.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password dialog will open. You’re not going to reset a password.
In the dialog, select the startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if it's not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if it's not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select

In the program (interfaces) i can only choose DanishThere is nothing to choose. The language is determined by your serial number and the choice of language during installation. You need to reinstall in that language.

Accidentally changed adobe language - help
somehow i accidentally changed the adobe language from english to german. now i can't understand the instructions. how do i change the language back to english?
Hold the Control (Ctrl) key on the keyboard and double click on the Adobe Reader shortcut on the desktop. This will display a pop up box asking for you to select the language of your choice. Select English from within the same, and click OK. That shoudl reset the UI language back to English.

How do I change the language of my help logs?
Photoshop CS6
I'm running some complicated batch processes to try to figure out how automation works, but whenever it throws an error, it tells me to check the error log. I set the location I want the error log saved, run the batch, and then check the log. Sadly, all of the text is in Chinese! (Or Japanese, I can't really tell.) The interface language is in English, and I can't find an option that will change the language of specifically the error logs. Help please! If there's more information you'd need in order to help me I'd be more than happy to provide you with it.Try settings<general>international and change the language there. It will change the language for the entire phone as well as your calendar
