Change image default name

Hello!
Since this week, when I recieve an image via whatsapp, it appears with a different name than before.
Before, it showed a number and the date the image was sent (IMG000+date), and now it has the name of another pic+numbers (aaa+number).
I tried to find if this question was asked before, but I couldn't find a similar topic.
My device is a BlackBerry curve 8520. Can someone help me to change the default name of the images again, please?

I think thats not what he asked, as I have the same problem with the default picture names taken with the camera phone.
Is there anyway to change the default picture name? It's a pain changing the name of every picture you take, so would be better if you could setup your phone to name the pictures something like IMGXXX instead of the ridiculous format that is given by default in the 8900 IMGXXXXX-YYYYMMDD-HHMM
As for the shutter noise from the camera, Im afraid you need to use third party apps, check this link:

Forgive me for not looking into your Maya-specific links, but one can automate Photoshop using JavaScript indeed (on Windows also VB, on Mac also AppleScript).
Not everything can be automated naturally, but a lot – and it can really speed up many tasks; and with the »small« repetitive ones like saving copies off of files etc. combining Scripts with Configurator Panels can be especially convenient.

Changing the Default name of DVD Disk in OneStep

Is it possible to change the default name of the disk that is burned on iDVD 6 "OneStep DVD" ???
the default disk name becomes "IDVDONESTEPDVD"...
I make lots of DVD with OneStep and would like the name created to be different.
Is this possible and if so...How??

Not sure if this is possible or not but did you already check the iDVD6 Help Menu and try the following?
Choose Project > Project Info. Type the new name in the Disc Name box.
If this approach isn't possible, then it's likely not a very good idea to change its default title. Good luck.

Change diradmins default name

Hi,
i've configured my Mac OS X Server 10.6 with open directory. After a systemfailure (i've no idea what kind of failure) the diradmin has one of the additional shortnames of the diradmin as default shortname. Now i would give the diradmin the shortname diradmin as default shortname. I need to now how I can change the default shortname to the shortname diradmin as default.

Change image tool name box

Hello,
I'm working with labview development vision 2011.
I'm creating a software with image tools and i need that the name of a indicator changes when i click in a specific tool.
Example - When I click in the Point tool, the name of the indicatior needs be "Area", and when I click in the "Line Tool" the name needs change automatically to "Length".
I need to use only one indicator and change only the name automatically when I click in the tool.
How can I do That?

Change InfoView Default Name 'object_view.aspx'

Hi,I am using a password protected Adobe PDF form which opens within the InfoView portal. When I click on the form name to open it, InfoView assigns the form the name of 'object_view.aspx'. When I email the pdf form by clicking an email button on the form, InfoView change the form name to 'object_view.pdf". Is there a way to have the form's real file name to be recognized and attached to email by Crystal Reports server?

I dont believe It is possible without hacking Infoview itself, which is unsupported and not recommended.

hi all.
can anyone help me find a thread (can i run a search somehow in ("Your Stuff"?) where folks were kind enough to help me understand how to change file names?
i am reading through some help documentation on Batch Change but i am trying to remember what i should be doing to most efficiently solve my problem.
basically i have images in aperture which have non-sensical names related to their originally existing in a pc folder organization originally and i would like to both rename them in aperture but also be able to have them EXPORTED to my desktop so i can upload them to the web with some reasonable sounding title such as "client1-town1-HousingType-FirmName-photographer.png" or something similar. right now the images i want to publish are ORGANIZED IN ALBUMS and have names like "folio_construction_other_turtle_134543.png"
i think i WOULD LIKE to change the name of the master but i am not totally sure about this and when i run a Metadata > Batch Change and pull down version name i get selections that i do not fully understand.

i /am/ familiar with a handle little tool called Name Mangler which basically allows me to easily delete all the PREFIX information (such as "folio_construction_other_turtle" and then to pre-pend something like "client1-town1-HousingType-FirmName-photographer" in front of the image number which would be ideal...
apologies for asking this again but until i get through it once i am finding it all a bit tricky.

Thank you so much. I am going to be doing a lot of this and just so i understand:
Delete the images you exported and renamed from your Aperture library before reimporting, to avoid creating duplicates. When deleting from the album that you used to export, use the command "delete version", not "delete from album". Do not delete the projects that the images came from, only the images.
Can you help me understand which images i am deleting? I mean, is there a way to delete just the images in the ALBUM because if i have to go in and delete the images from a Project there are going to be a lot more images in the Project and it is going to be very hard to tell which images have been renamed and which have not been renamed. If i have to do this by deleting the images in the Project, i suppose i could use one of your suggestions to color all the images in an ALBUM, say yellow, and then see where the images show up in Projects but even then i think it will be a bit tricky. Are you saying i can just delete the images in the ALBUM by doing "Delete Version"?
Use "File > import" to reimport your image files. I'd put all images that shall be imported into the same project into one folder, and then import each folder on its own.
OK. So - well - so now i am importing all of the images that i originally had in the Database and they are /basically/ (i moved the folder organization around a little bit while the images were on my desktop in this first attempt...) - they are basically getting IMPORTED into Aperture now with the "new" images coming into the database into a new Project that is named according to the Album that they were in?
This is a little tricky for me. Will the old Albums still exist? What if i had more than one Album with an image in it. Also, this "new" image will be in a /new/ Project but will it still be in the OLD PROJECT with the old name? Or, i guess i am getting a little confused as to how this will work.
Select the project in the Library Inspector, that you want to import the folder of images into, then set the "Destination" in "Import settings > Aperture Library" brick to this project and set "Store Files" to "In the Aperture Library".
OK. I can try this here soon. What does Store Files in the Aperture Library do? I guess these images are getting imported as if they are new and they are getting imported with no external references?
Set "Rename files" to "None" or "version name". Both will keep the name you edited.
OK. Not sure i totally understand but i can try this as well. I guess this is making sure Aperture will keep the original names.

Changing image file name

I'm working with dreamweaver 8 for Mac.
Imagine that you have a html page with more than 200 images, that you have changed many times during the last few years, some have been deleted others have been added. And some are not linked any more.
At the beginning the pictures were numbered from the top of the page to the bottom of the page in order (picture1, picture2....), now they are messed up (picture13, picture 1....).
If I rename the images in my local file folder, DW update it on the html page. Unfortunately in the local file folder the pictures are not displayed, I have to open all of them (200 images) on my desktop ! I The result: a big mess. So my question is:
Is it possible to make a file name change on the html page, and DW update it on the local files folder?
I hope I've been clear. Thanks for your help.

What I would do is create a PHP script that places the images in a document, sorted on date.
If you Google the subject, you will see many examples on how to do this. One such search gave me this http://www.javascriptkit.com/javatutors/externalphp2.shtml
If you then see an image that you no longer need, you can remove it from the directory. This will leave you with the images that you do need sorted from earliest date to the latest date.
Keep this script for the document that you want to show the images on. Future maintenance will consist of removing the unwanted images from the directory and adding new ones. The PHP page will automatically be updated. No worries with file names, as long as you do not have two the same.
Although I mention PHP, the same goes for all serverside scripts.

Change the default name of a personalizable attribute of an JDBC Iview

Hello All,
I created have an IView from JDBC Stored Procedure IView Template and the name for the value of the parameter was autogenerated as 'function_params_value1'. The iView is personalizable and so are the parameters. When the iView is placed on the page and personalized by an end user, the parameter value name shows up as 'function_params_value1'.
Is there a way to change the name of the value attribute to say for ex..'StoreId' which is the actual parameter name in the stored procedure.

Hi, I have iCloud and the Photo Stream application installed on my Windows Vista PC. I have just returned from a trip abroad and took photos on both my iPhone 4 (updated with iOS6) and a separate digital camera. Having taken thousands of photos, I've managed to combine the two collections of photos into one and renamed them in sequence i.e. USA(1), USA(2), USA(3) etc. I want to be able to convert this completed photo collection into a Photostream to share with others on their iPhones and iPads respectively.
I know Shared Photostreams are limited to 1,000 photos each, however when I create and add the new collection of photos to a new Photostream album, it chooses to rename the files and display them out of the desired order. The file names are usually something like 'IMG_00605' and while some are in the correct order and placed next to one another, others are not. Despite playing with the display settings, i.e. Sort By>Name, Date Taken, Tags etc I still cannot get the photos to display in the order I set out in the first place. As you can imagine this is incredibly frustrating, having painstakingly gone through all my photos to ensure they were ordered and renamed sequentially.
Does anybody know how I can rectify this and display my photos in the order I want them to? Any suggestions would be greatly received.

Changing the default .name property value for data object

Hi.. I'm rendering a pdf form with attachments through Java APIs. When I attach a file, the .name property (cName parameter) is assigned automatically. I want to attach a file by specified name because I'm tracking these attachments later on the form, is there any way I can do it?

How to change the default sql servery query name?

Whenever we click on new query button, Sql server automatically opens a new query with default name SQLQuery1.sql.
Can I change this default name? What I mean to say is I have to work with quite a number of databases on different servers. So I open multiple queries on different server. So I was finding a way where whenever I click on
New Query button it inherits servername or database name (e.g If I have database name like ABCD new query name should look like ABCDquery.sql ?)
So that I can distinguish which query belong to which Database?

On the Connect to Server dialog, select Options >>.
Select the Use custom color check box.
To select the color, select the Select… button.
Select either a basic or custom color, then select OK.

Changing the default file name while saving the PDF interactive form

Hi All,
I am generating an Interactive PDF form using webdynpro, but when I try to save the PDF to my local machine the default file name comes as "<b>unknown.pdf</b>" so I have to manually go and enter the name before saving it.
Is there any way to change this default name so that I don't have to manually edit the file name each time when I want to save the generated PDF interactive form?

I am running into the same issue. Setting the desname parameter (e.g. desname=temp.pdf) doesn't have any effect. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Changing the default logical system names for adaptive RFC models

Hello,
When I create an Adaptive RFC model the dialog that asks me to specify the model name, package, source folder, etc. has default values in the "Default logical system name for model instances" and "... RFC metadata".
I know I can type in another name there but I'd like to change the default name to something that fits our naming conventions. Can I change that? If so, can someone tell me where?

Thank you for your response. However, that is not what I was looking for. Sorry if my post was not clear.
I knew that I could change it AFTER the import. I also know that I can type in something else besides the default DURING the import.
What I am asking is if there is a way to change some configuration setting so that the 'default' that comes up in the drop down DURING the import is something different than what comes 'out-of-the-box' with NWDS.
Hope that clears up what I'm looking for.

Changing default name in screen sharing

I've been trying to find out how to change the default name which pops up in screen sharing when I use finder to remotely log in to my mac mini. Basically, I want the login to be automatic, without having to mess with user accounts on either computer.

When using Tracks and Development Components changes are "categorized" under an Activity. The "categorized" is my term.
Basically, when you try to change some code that's been checked in you are asked to specify what Activity you want the change(s) should go under.
If you click the button to create a new Activity a "New Activity" Dialog pops up. One of the fields in that dialog is called "Display Name"
The default value of that field is "[not yet defined]".
What I'm wondering is if there is somewhere in the preferences or some config files where I can change that default value to something else.
