Change in behavior

After using this product for a bit, I have a request.
When using the tag libs, it seems that each time I select a tag from the tag libraries view, drag it to the page, the Tags Libraries page resets and opens the HTML tag lib. This makes it a bit confussing when using struts tags, as is it not quickly clear which taglib you are looking at.
I would like to request that the tag lib that is open, remain open
thx
ed

Thanks for the feedback. Fortunately this behaviour does not happen frequently, but I agree with you, it is little annoying when it happens.
It is now in the queue of enhancements.

  • Create Archive, how to change the behavior of the default file naming?

From an earlier post on archiving via the contextual menu in the Mac OS X Finder:
"If you archive a single item, the archived file has the name of the original item with a ".zip" extension. If you archive multiple items at once, the archived file is called Archive.zip."
Is there a way to change the behavior of this?
I ask because I want to archive a single file, say "photo.psd" and when I do I get an archive called "photo.psd.zip" - is there a way to create an archive from the contextual menu and have the original file extension be appended? - in this case I would want "photo.zip" to be the end result.
Also, is there a way to change the behavior of archiving multiple files? To, say, create a differently named file afterwards instead of the default "Archive.zip" - perhaps something a little more descriptive but standard, like "YourFilesCompressed.zip" - something that would stay the same across each archive creation.
Thanks, I've been manually renaming after all create-archive's. And I do realize other applications could probably do this, but I'm thinking there must be a way to do this in the finder, no? A terminal command? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try looking at the documentation for the ditto and zip Terminal commands.

  • Change the behavior for movement type 309 - Account post PRD

    Dear friends ,
We need to transfer material to material using movement type 309.
These material are using price control "S".
When we transfer from material A to material B the price difference stay stopped in the PRD account.
We need to revaluate the material B automatically and not let the price difference stopped in the PRD... when we run the Material Costs..via Material ledger.
Does anyone knows a way to change this behavior ?
    best regards,
    Alessandro

Dear Revi thanks for your answer !
    One more thing...
We cannot change the valuation from S to V in the material B.
Regarding the PRD postings... when the Controlling team runs the Material Ledger the price for material B should be changed/updated automatically, Am I right ?
And then the PRD account must be cleared...
Or I continue to do the MR22 manuall...or better... create an Abap program to run automatically clearing the PRD posting agains't the material via MR22 to correct the cost of this material.
    thanks once more.

  • I've found that middlemouse.contentLoadURL feature has changed its behavior in FF5.0 as compared with previous versions

I've found that middlemouse.contentLoadURL feature has changed its behavior in FF5.0 as compared with previous versions: I now can paste&load only full urls that start with "http://" prefix, but previously it was possible to paste&load any url even without protocol prefix. It is very useful when someone has an url for example just "support.mozilla.com", but with FF5.0 one _has_ to paste it to urlbar instead of just middle-clicking into the browser window (long standing and usual *nix behavior). How can I make middlemouse.contentLoadURL load any clipboard content not prefixed with protocol specification?

Oops, already found a solution: https://support.mozilla.com/ru/questions/824759
But, how could it be done via something less freaky (ala about:config)?

  • FF4.0 wants to download a .asp page ratehr than open it. How do I change this behavior?

I am on a OSX 10.6.7. One example of the page that I want to open is at http://tinyurl.com/3moz8fk When I click on the link, FF downloads the page. When I enter the link in Safari, it opens as expected. I don't see anywhere that I can change the behavior of the .asp documents in order to open as expected.

I know that the doc is a PDF. Firefox isn't getting to the point of downloading the pdf, it thinks that it's supposed to d/l the ASP page.

  • Can I change the behavior of right clicks

Some of my online emails have there own right click menus. Can I disable right Clicks in firefox while visiting these sites

At present, it is not possible to change the behavior of a built-in entity extractor. However, if you want to cover casesthat abuilt-in extractor doesn't cover, you can add your own entity extractor.  For example, the "ordinal" built-in
entity extractor covers "first", "second", "3rd", etc.as in "the second one in the list".  If you wanted to also detect "last" as in"the last one in the list", youcould build your own entity
extractor that detects "last", and the check for both your entity and the built-in entity in your app.

When I nudge clips in Premiere CC they will "run over" other clips, how do I change this behavior so the clip will stop when it hits another clip?

Not sure what behavior you are exactly looking for, to move the clip and have it stop and the next clip in the direction of travel, drag the clip with the mouse with Snapping turned on in the timeline.

  • Bridge Image Processor always creates JPEG or TIFF folder, how do I change that behavior?

I have searched the web, Bridge forums, and Photoshop forums, and come up empty-handed. (The strange thing is, I know there used to be a post that answered this question a few years ago.) Anyway, I use Image Processor quite a bit, and it works great except for the annoying behavior of always creating a new folder to store the newly-created images.
I remember the solution is to change some line in a (XML?) file from "JPEG" to "". For the life of me, I can't find which file that is! I think it used to located down inside Application Support. I think.
Thanks for help on this, it's driving me crazy!
    Jeff

Thanks for replying! I'm running CS 5.1. Oh, now I see...I've never run Image Processor from within Photoshop, just from Bridge. You're right, it does offer different options than Bridge.
Anyway, I found it what I was looking for.
Open up (don't run!) the Image Processor.jsx file. I opened it up in ExtendScript Toolkit. The path is /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1/Presets/Scripts/Image Processor.jsx
I'm on line 1574 (in other versions, the line number may vary)
This is what the line says:
    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + "/JPEG/";
    Change to:
    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + "//";
Problem solved. Repeat as necessary for other folders you don't want created (TIFF, PSD)
    Back to work!

  • How to change sorting behavior in column view in Lion Finder?

I love the ability to sort in column view in OS X 10.7. However, when I switch to column view and let sort by label, the Finder displays a strange behavior: The files are grouped by label, but in the order of lee to more. It does not seem possible to display according to the label order set in the Finder prefs.
This is somewhat irritating. Is there a way to change this can make it consistent to the label order?
The label order in the Finder was set to "Prio A", then "Prio B" and so forth.

If I set it to "Arrange by", I get them sorted by file name, irrespective of the color.
If I change that in the View Options, I get them sorted according to label, but not in the label order of the Finder prefs.

  • Change click behavior BAL_DSP_LOG_DISPLAY

Hello! I have an requirement that is calling FB03 from a double click on an aplication log.
I'm using FM BAL_DSP_LOG_DISPLAY to show the required logs. So far so good.
The problem is changing the default behavior on the double click of a message (showing a popup with the message details). I need to call FB03 when a specific message type and number message is clicked.
Is it possible to override the default click behavior on BAL_DSP_LOG_DISPLAY? If possible, how do I do this?
    Thanks in advance, best regards.
Edited by: djutopic on Feb 17, 2011 11:53 AM

Actually, the click behavior haven't been changed. I added a detail callback function to the message.
In the specific message that needed a special behavior I populated the field params of the message with the program and routine that will handle the click.
    Something like:
    data: l_s_msg       type bal_s_msg,
             lw_callback type bal_s_clbk,
             lw_param    type bal_s_parm.
    lw_callback-userexitt = ' '.
    lw_callback-userexitp = <PROGRAM_NAME>.
    lw_callback-userexitf = 'MESSAGE_TO_FB03'.
    lw_param-callback = lw_callback.
    l_s_msg-params = lw_param.
    The routine looks like this:
form message_to_fb03 tables pt_params structure spar.
      data: lv_belnr type belnr_d,
               lv_gjahr type gjahr.
read table pt_params with key param = 'V1'.
      lv_belnr = pt_params-value.
read table pt_params with key param = 'V2'.
      lv_gjahr = pt_params-value.
set parameter id: 'BLN' field lv_belnr,
                        'BUK' field '0100',
                        'GJR' field lv_gjahr.
call transaction 'FB03' and skip first screen.
    endform.

  • AIR 2.6 Changed Backspace Behavior

    Scenario:
I have a Flex AIR desktop app.  The app contains the HTML control. The HTML control loads a page that contains a Flash movie. The Flash movie contains a text box. Users enter text into the text box, but make a mistake and hit backspace.
In AIR 2.5.x behavior is as expected.  The last character in the text box is deleted and nothing else happens.
In AIR 2.6.x the HTML control goes back to the previous page as long as the Flash movie has focus.  I've failed in all attempts to stop the page load by catching the keypress (calling window.stop, returning false, cancelLoad in the Flex app, stop propagation, preventdefault, etc).  And no way to set/clear the html.history since it's read only.
    1) Any ideas how to stop the page load?
    2) What changed in 2.6 to cause this behavior change (and I tested on 2.5 again to be sure it work then upon 2.6 upgrade it failed)?
    This is causing major problems.
    Thanks!

It's internal and there isn't much code to give but I'll give as much information as I can to replicate:
Using Flash Builder 4 - Flex 4 build an AIR app with an HTML control. Create a web page to load in the HTML control that will let you click through a few pages and verify historyLength >0. Have the last page load a Flash movie (in this case using AS2 textInput control so I can't say if there is a problem with AS3). Start typing in the control and hit backspace.
Again in 2.5 works like it should. I updated to 2.6 and it takes me back in the history.
Any fix would be greatly appreciated.  As you can imagine, it's causing serious issues.
    Thank you.

  • Stationery pad: change in behavior?

It appears that the function of the “Stationery pad” option has changed from its long-standing and well-established behavior. In all previous versions of the Mac OS, you could designate a file as a "Stationery pad" with a check box in the file's Get Info window. This would let you open the file without overwriting the original Then when you did a “Save” or “Save As . . .” you gave the edited file a name and saved it. The original file remained unchanged and in the past there was no other duplication of the original file.
Now when you open a Stationery pad file, the OS immediately creates a copy of the original in the original directory. If you edit and save the newly opened file, you can still save it wherever you want and the original stationery file is left untouched. HOWEVER, the OS has already created a second copy of your original with the word “copy” appended to the file name, and saved it in the same director as the original. As a result you now have two new copies of your original Stationery file.
So, now my hard drive is littered with files that I had never intended to create because of this new behavior. Yes, it’s easy to find these files by searching for “copy” and deleting them, but this is very inconvenient and is a major change from the long established behavior of the Finder’s "Stationery pad" option.
Am I missing something here, is there some Finder preference that I haven’t discovered?
    Has anyone else noticed this?
    MuSonics
PS: I just noticed this with the update to Snow Leopard. The change might have occurred with Leopard.

    Thanks again Jeffrey,
But, now I'm really nonplussed. I've been using Stationery pads for years, at least 20. I started on Macs in 1983 as a member of an Apple Consortium University, where we were writing programs for the soon-to-be-released Macs using Lisa Pascal. Now I'm a consultant, and I use about 10 different Stationary pad documents, and probably use them 10 - 20 times a day. Every time I make a phone call to a client I open a stationery Phone Log, fill it out, save it, and I'm done. Yeah, consultants talk on the phone a lot! So, this isn't exactly something new for me or a rare occurrence.
But, the way I described the Stationery pad behavior in my original post is the way it has always worked, and this accounts for at least 30 - 40 files that I create every week. It wasn't until I upgraded to Snow Leopard from Leopard, that I started finding these "copy" files. But, the Apple How To file you referenced is perfectly clear. I just don't understand why for me it has never worked this way before Snow Leopard. There are also several other people having a similar experience and reaction as I'm having, but as I said, the Apple How To would seem to indicate I'm . . . um . . . confused.
In any event, I'll just maintain my new standard practice of deleting all the "copy" files every week. Just one more new habit to learn. Most of them are in one directory, so this isn't exactly a chore.
    Thanks,
    MuSonics

  • Change finder behavior?

I often use the finder in list or column view. I move to folders by typing the first few letters of the folder name. In column view I can open that folder in a new column by using the tab key.
My problem is that when in list view I don't know how to get into the selected folder with the keyboard.
(as a righty) It seems natural to use the return key to open a folder or an app but the return key just edits the folder / file name - something I (and I bet anyone else) don't do nearly as much as actually open the folder or the app.
So even in column view using the tab key is hard for me. In column view I just don't know how to get into the folder using the keyboard.
Can I change this standard behavior in anyway?

    Cmd-down arrow has always opened a file/folder.
To get into the content pane:
Arrow keys navigate around the folders. Even if you have selected a sidebar item, up/down arrow moves to the content pane. Right arrow works in icon and column view, too. Not sure why not in List.
