Change in G/L / Transfer the amt to different GL doc wise

Dear All,
We have Done the GR for few materials with 501 mvmt type, and today we came to know that the G/L acc which we have assigned were wrong & the amt is entered wrongly to this GL acc. Now i want to change the assignments. If i change the assignments now, what will happen to the previous posted documents ? If this is not correct, then can i transfer the amount to different GL account document wise ?

Did you try using 502 for cancellations...
I hope this is a normal document...
If not then firstly cancel using 502 and make the new document again...

Transfer the account balance

hi,
i want to make a "staff training loan" account a recon account. but there is a balance in that account. therefore system is not letting me to make this account a recon account. can't I transfer the balance to different account??and them make "staff training loan" account a recon account??? if so that is the T code to transfer the balance ??

in F-02 you can post the balance to other account. after this account getting balance zero, then you make the changes.

GL Account Change - How to Transfer the pending open items

Hi
I am working on a critical issue. Currently I have a open item managed clearing account which got already some postings. Now, due to some reasons, I would like to change this GL account to a new GL account. I can make a transfer entry to pass the opening balances from old account to new account.
But, my issue is what will happen to open items. How will be the open items get cleared for the old account. Is there anyway I can transfer the lines item wise?

Thanks for your suggestion. But, I am not sure it may work like that. Because, let me explain the problem with examples:
My old GL account is 1000 and my new GL account 2000. Under 1000 GL account, I have two open items A and B with $100 and $200 respectively. When I open a new GL account, I will start my new GL account with an opening balance of $300.
When I want to clear the above lines, how can I clear because, all my future postings will be done in 2000 whereas the line items are in 1000. It will be an automatic posting to 2000 and auto clear.
Is there any way.

Transfer the objects changes between servers?

Whatâs your recommendation to transfer the different changes of the tables, packages and so on from Development Server to Testing Server???
We work in development server and we need to transfer the changes each 7 days.

Don't take an export from DEV and squirt it into TESTING. Otherwise, ff your development environment is like mine - or just about anybody's, you're going to fill your testing database with rubbish data, work in progress, etc. Apart from anything else you can't apply changes to table structure ( e.g. adding a column) that way.
You may say you can just trash and rebuild the testing environment but remember, you need a process to take the tested code from TESTING to PRODUCTION. You cannot trash PRODUCTION every time you need to do a patch release. But also you cannot have a different release process for deploying into PRODUCTION: that's just the same as releasing untested code into live.
The proper way to do this is change control. Developers should be scripting changes and storing those scripts in source control. Those scripts are then used to build the testing environment and the production environment. Of course, each script that changes the database should have a regression to reverse that change ( an ALTER TABLE ... DROP COLUMN statement for every ALTER TABLE ... ADD <column> statement.) Ideally you should have a configuration environment that is just used for building and regressing your database.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPad on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hi, Kilted, I shall put it as below:
Cancelled a contract on my Iphone and started another contract with Samsung Note 2 on O2. Managed to transfer almost all my data bar the content of my notes through drag and drop from itune to sKies prior to contract cancellation.
When I later connected the iphone to the laptop to carry out an advise of going into itune to drag and drop the note content into dropbox from where I could pull into the samsung device, I was denied access into itune with my id , the same which has facilitated my access to this chat community.
Question then: Am I not able to use itune again because of the contract cancellation?

You need to move your iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. A sync between an iPod and a computyou're ones not transfer all contents.

I need to transfer the Smart Mailboxes I have set up on one computer to another computer. Both are running 10.8.4 and Mail 6.3. None of the old solutions are viable since there is no longer a 'Mail' folder in the User account.

I acquired a new iMac, and need to transfer the Smart Mialboxes I have set up on my Mac Pro to the iMac. Mail is already set up to sync thorough iCloud, but the Smart mailboxes are - apparently - set up for individual machines. The only solutions I have been able to locate involve moving Preference files from one machine to the other; the problem is that there is no longer a 'Mail' folder set up for individual Users (actually there is no Mail folder at ALL under 10.8.4), and I am unable to locate any .plist files for Mail at all. Any idea how to make this haoppen?

Create a new smart mailbox. Does it sync? If not, do as below.
Back up all data.
1. Triple-click the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Mail/Bundles
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder may open, or you may get an error message that the item can't be found. Either result is normal. If the folder does open and has contents, move the contents to the Desktop. Relaunch Mail and test. If there's no change, put the contents of the folder back and quit Mail again.
2. Repeat with this line:
/Library/Mail/Bundles
This time you may be prompted for your login password when you remove the items. Make sure they're removed from the folder and not just copied to the Desktop. If necessary, copy them first and then move the originals to the Trash.
