Change in PCR

Hi Experts,
I want to change a calculation rule. Rule is -
Now I want to divide /4E1 with 12 months and add value to /115.
For eg . /4E1 = 1200. So rule calculate like 1200 / 12 = 100 + /115 = AMT
Please tell me how I change the existing rule.

Yes I have a requirement. I want to add Children Education Allowance monthly exemption to /132 wage type. Because CEA here exempted annualy.
First I try to directly add amount to the /132 through PCR. But I don't think it's possible. So I want to deduct amount from /115.
So now please tell me how I change the PCR to meet my requirement.

Portal changes in PCR

All the customisation are available in the backend, If you done this, then lauch from MSS the required PCRS
You should be good to go once proper roles are assigned.

Error in MSS Personal Change Request (PCR)

The PCR Team Viewer gives an error saying that
"An error occurred: com.sap.pct.hcm.objectanddataprovider.proxyclasses.Hrwpc_Rfc_Get_Objects_FaultException: "
Can anyone suggest me what can be the reason of this error?

Upgrading PCRs (Personnel Change Requests) front end technology

We are currently on Netweaver 7.0 & ECC 6.0 and ESS - MSS Business Package 50.4. We are using JSP Forms on portal front for Personnel Change Requests (PCR's ) where in all the scenarios in the backend are heavily customised. For certain scenarios, where in a huge amount of information is fetched from ECC 6.0 backend system, JSP are performing really bad and the total time taken to display the form is actaully causing a lot of irritation to the end user.
We are planning to propose an upgrade to SAP adobe interactive forms. The prerequisite is that the business wants to reuse all the customised scenarios without any changes and just want to move towards better front end forms.
My questions are:
1. Please list benefits of SAP Adobe interactive forms over JSP forms (performace wise)
2. Issues with SAP Adobe Interactive forms?
3. Any other options available for UI that can be suggested?
All suggestions are welcome. Quick response is appreciated.

Have you tried with WD ABAP. Since your application is dealing with data from backend, I think WD ABAP should suit your purpose. You will have much better handler over the data in this case.

Is your performance issue with the Javascript with JSP pages? or the Java script you are using within the Adobe form in your WDJ custom application using Adobe form? I have worked on PCR's using ISR framework old school it used to call as PCR and now HCM Processes and form, Developed PCR's using WDJ also integrated workflow with the WDJ PCR for approval(we never had any performance issue) infact ISR frame work was kind of slow compare to custom WDJ solution and less flexible for a developer to develop.
I have also worked created WDA custom application for PCR's , WDA is definitely better when you compare it with WDJ but I have not seen much performance issue with WDJ atleast on custom PCR solutions.
I don't have any case study to share with you, can you please tell what kind of PCR's your client is using and what kind of performance issue you are experiencing and where and why you guys are using Javascript.

PCR: Status in the Status Overview table is not updated

In MSS, a manager can look at a status of submitted Personnel Change Requests (PCRs). The status field always displays "open". It doesn't get updated.
I saw a few notes on this issue.
Note 1004470 ISR status overview: Status change incorrect
Symptom: The system does not refresh the ISR status overview for a request in the WebDynpro iView although the status of the request has changed.
Solution Implement the attached correction.
Later execute the QISRSTATUS_REP correction report contained in Note 947790.
But the note 1004470 is already applied because we are on SAP_APPL version 17. Will the report help me out? I'm not a core abaper/hr consultant. So, if someone could help me explain what the report does, i run it.
Also, can any one point out which data source (name of the RFC/workflow/others) fills up this data?

As I understand I think you are talking about PCR's (personnel Change request)
PCR's actually MSS(manager self service) concept. which will be done on portal end. and not directly in R/3 server. The data eventually stores in R/3 , through Badis.
eg: say there is a manager , and he wants to make some changes like position changes,etc to his subordinates....
this he could do by choosing(options) radio buttons, like
1.position change
2.termination etc ( these radio buttons are called as scenarios)
There could be more than these 2 scenarios and this screen appears as a portal screen ie through a portal server(done by 'ep' people) and the forms used in these scenarios are adobe forms, which consists of drop down boxes, etc.

PCR's not working post upgrade

We are upgrading r/3 from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. In 4.6c , Personnel Change Requests(PCR's) are configured according to
Standalone ITS, but in ECC 6.0 with Integrated ITS , pcr's are not working.
What config changes i am supposed to do?

Can you give me some idea on how to make the PAR files based PCR's to work in ECC 6.0?
Please give me the list of changes to make those PCR's working in ECC 6.0?
Now we are able to see some PCR's JSP views, but is not loading the data, and some are giving Errors. We really don't understand how to make these PCR's working in ECC 6.0.
Kindly consider this the urgency and give me the inputs. We are really struggling for fixing these PCR issues.

HCM Process and Forms(HCM P&F) vs Internal Service Request(ISR PCR)

I am new with Personnel Change Request(PCR) in the portal Self-Service.
I know that the new technology used for SAP ERP 6.0 is with HCM P&F.
ISR is used for Realease 4.7(EP 5.0/EP 6.0).
My question is:
What requirements need a company for implement the PCR and HCM P&F?
Where I do the configuration for the PCR and HCM P&F in theCustomizing or T.Code?
Anyone know a book about the creation of HCM P&F ?

I'm developing a Personnel Change Request (PCR) and want to use a tableView to display search results from a search page. Normally, in a JSPDYNPage program, the tableView doNavigate event processor is coded within the JSPDYNPage, however, within the PCR framework, no JSPDYNPage exists. I have tried to code the doNavigate event as embedded Java within the PCR JSP page, however, the method cannot be resolved. The code follows (the logic is incomplete, I just need the syntax):

Tivolil - TAM and PCRs issue

Hi,
We have an architecture where the portal authentication/access happens through Tivoli Access Manger (TAM). When we are using this setup for Personal Change Requests (PCRs in Adobe) we are encountering following problem.
1. While opening the PCR form, it shows all the display fields with values, which are fetched from backend R3.
2. After filling up the form and pressing any button to trigger an event at the backend it throws up an error for the validataion of existence of data in the fields which we incorporated in our CHECK event at the backend. Thus, by the time the event reaches the backend the data is getting lost. Infact, after that message we can see that all the data in the screen also been emptied.
3. The above problem is occuring for all the PCR forms.
4. However, the same testing when done without TAM is working perfectly fine for the same user and same environment.
It seems that the problem is something to do with TAM setup. Want to know whether any specific settings/configurations to be done at TAM side for Adobe PCRs.

We used it to integrate TAM4eb 6.1 WebSEAL with SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.0 SR2 both on SLES 10 SP1. It works great, even with Desktop Single Sign On (SPNEGO) on top.
