Change in Request type and different sequences generation for Req. Type

Dear All,
We have the following requisition types in the Requisition Form:
1. Purchase Requisition
2. Internal Requisition
We would like to divide the Internal Requisition to:
Internal Requisition from Branches and
Internal Requisition from Departments/Sections
I found that these values are available in FND_LOOKUPS table.
Is it possible for us to make this change, through the Application Developer..?
If the above change is possible, then based on the requisition type selection, it should generate a different sequence number.
Is this possible without customization..?

If the above change is possible, then based on the requisition type selection, it should generate a different sequence number.
what you can do is open a DFF at header level,make a number series auto generate which could be a context sensitive DFF ..depending on what type of requisiton is being made, Internal or standard..if internal, u can classify the numbering series too..this type of customization is achievable

Can you access your email account through the web interface from a computer using the new password? If so, you may not be typing in the password correctly in your iPad email client. If not, then you've forgotten your new password. Try resetting the password again from the hotmail web interface.

Changed bank card. Got charged $24.99 from iTunes for a prior purchase that would not go thru due to invalid security code. When put new information on iTunes payment . iTunes charged my account without me confirming order and I didn't even receive the zoo buck 50% sale special. They just took my money . Now I can't connect to iTunes Store because they are fixing problems. What can I do to get my money . Can't even reach tiny zoo who gets the money. iTunes should of sent a confirmation request when new card was submitted before taking money.

Expdp with network_link and different character sets for source and target?

DB versions 10.2 and 10.1
Is there any limitation for implementing expdp with network_link but target and source have different character sets?
I tried with many combinations, but only had success when target and source have the same character sets. In other combinations there was invalid character set conversion (loose of some characters in VARCHAR2 and CLOB fields).
I didn't find anything on the internet, forums or Oracle documentation. There was only limitation for transportable tablespace mode export (Database Utilities).

There is only one thing about different character sets.
I quote:
Data Pump supports character set conversion for both direct path and external tables. Most of the restrictions that exist for character set conversions in the original Import utility do not apply to Data Pump. The one case in which character set conversions are not supported under the Data Pump is when using transportable tablespaces.
Parameter VERSION also doesn't play role here, because the behaviour (character set) is the same if I use for target and source only 10.2 or (10.2 and 10.1) respectivly.

Blocking long text change if open PR and open PO found for material

Dear SAP MM Gurus,
Our client is having one requirement. Their requirement is like this,
If there is any open PR, PO, contract etc. for a material , system should not allow to change the long text of the material.
Is there any way out. Any user exit or BADi, which will trigger on the long text change of material master then please let me know.

[request] Clickable and scrollable workspace bar for xmonad

I've been searching for any workspace bar(dzen2?) for xmonad in which i can click the workspaces or scroll through them with no luck. If any of you have such a script or config please paste it here.

That is doable with dzen2 and xdotool.
In dzen2 you can define keybinds for the whole window and for areas of the window. Combine that with xdotool for workspace navigation keybinds and it should give you what you want.

Color in fcp7 changes to crushed blacks and warm skin tones for some reason

So I have a MBP Retina, 2.6 GHZ, 16GB memory, 512 SSD. I have two external displays LG IPS LED ones connected via hdmi. For some strange reason, when I perform a given function or just randomly the color of my video becomes highly contrasted, and warm. When I first begin my project everything looks great, but say for example I go to Window>Arrange>Standard, the windows will orgainze themsleves as usual, but then the color will become drastically crushed (see before and after photos below) The image becomes heavily contrasted as well as very warm in the red spectrum. When I disconnect the monitor to see if it is an issue of the external display and just view FCP on my laptop, the images remain the same, crushed blacks and warm/redish skin tones. But everything looks fine, if I close the program, disconnect the external displays and then recconnect them again and open FCP 7 again. It will NOT do this if I stay on my laptop only, seems to only do it when I have either one or two external displays attached.
Not sure if anyone has come accross this yet, any clues? The first photo is how it normally looks, the second is with the strange color annomily.

In Request type, what is the difference between action 'Change user' and 'Assign object'

Dear All,
I have used only 'Assign Object' for my 'Change User' request type. But the standard request type has 'Change user'. So, could you suggest , what additional purpose does Change Object serve

not sure if you answered your own question here?
Change User - by itself would allow update of address data, user parameters, defaults, etc
Assign Object - as you mentioned roles and profiles.
However, if assigning, I think you need to have both actions: change and assign
I recall (ages ago) that change was only the user details and not the role or profiles. As a result, there were a few threads where people had to update the action for the request type of provisioning would not occur.
This is something you could test

Sequence generation(urgent)

im new to jdev..I would like to set sequence generation for table fields.Im using JSp as my client and populating fields in the jsp screen.pls let me know is there any thing to set on wizard or any help in tutorial..thnks..

I'm assuming that you've added your code segment to EmpImpl.java.
The first parameter to SequenceImpl() should be the name of a database sequence, not the name of a table column.
Once you've changed that, if you still get the same error, you need to check whether EmpImpl.java has a method called setId(), since this is what your error is complaining about. Your entity should contain accessor (getter and setter) methods by default. If your entity doesn't have these methods, then edit the entity, select the Java tab in the Entity Object Wizard, and check "accessor methods" for the entity object class.
Lastly, I recommend testing your business components in the business component browser (aka the tester). This is a way of making sure your business logic works before you try to run your client.

Generating a different sequence for 32 different warehouse....!!!!

We have got around 32 different warehouse where various material are stored......
I have to design a form in such a way that i generate a different sequence number for the materials stored in 32 different ware house
ex
name:suhail
pwd:123
warehouse: America
Now after i login i want to generate a sequene number only for america's ware house say 21001
name:ANDREAS
pwd:345
warehouse:France
for this user the sequence number generted should be different say some thing like 31001can any one help me out with this :)

I'm not a big fan of using "Intelligent Numbers." What happens when you reach the maximum number for a given warehouse (France's value range = 31000 - 40999)? I have seen this methodology cause problems time and time again. The better option would be to use a generic sequence and a seperate warehouse identifier on the record. This offers the greater flexibility and doesn't force limitations on the number of items that can be assigned to a given warehouse. If you are not locked into this numbering method, I recommend you add a warehouse_ID column to your table and create a unique ID for each warehouse and record this unique_id in the warehouse_ID column. Then use a generic Sequence as Andreas suggested. In addition to greater flexibilty, this method also provides a unique ID that could be used to Partition your warehouse tables if the size of the tables become a performance issue later.

Different sequence for ZEILE in 2LIS_03_UM DS after upgrading to ECC 6.0

We are in process of upgrading our ERP system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and we test dataloading into our quality BW system (BW version = 7.0). We have loaded the data from 2LIS_03_UM DS before and after ERP upgrade into the same DSO and have encountered duplicated values for some documents (our key in DSO is based on a combination of MJAHR,MBLNR,ZEILE,BUKRS fields). We've investigated the problem and find out that there are differences in the sequence generation for the ZEILE field.
For example we have a document with 3 items.
Before the ERP upgrade, the data in 2LIS_03_UM DS looks like this:
Material / Item (ZEILE)
A           /              1
B           /        2
C           /        3
After the ERP upgrade, for the same document in 2LIS_03_UM DS we have:
Material / Item (ZEILE)
A            /       3
B            /       2
C           /        1
Have anyone encountered this situation? How you solved it? Of course in case of corrections of historical data in DSO there is always a solution of deleting the data before reloading it. There is another solution?

Skype numbers and credit are tied to the account. If you add an additional Skype number or replace the number with a new one when the old one expires, then the credit won't change since it's still tied to the account. If you want to transfer the credit from one account to another then as far as I know, it's not possible on standard accounts. If you recently purchased credit within the past 15 days that you didn't use, you could request a refund. You could then apply the money from the refund towards credit on another account.

This you can do it in two ways:
1. Make three header under top level....one Product A, 2nd Product B ( as Billing element) and third as Common expense ( only cost). Now 1st & 2 nd WBS, you have to have sales order linking with individual lint item, for third you will accumulate all the common expense till the period end then make a reposting of the same in desired proportion to both products WBS hierarchy
(This is if you want to have a track on the common expense as well.......like planning, budgeting & control)
After this reposting, run RA for individual billing element and hence you will all the complement detailing and control over Revenue and expense with respect to Product A and Product B individually.
2. If you don't want to maintain that kind of detailing the common expense and keep track of it through project, then have cost centers accordingly and make an assesment/ distribution with respect to expenses accumulated at those cost centers for the period to the respective WBS under each product. Then execute the period end processes for the project.
Or
You can try with have two more line items in the costing sheet as an overhead against common expenses with respect each product.
