Change in resource in Confirmation

Dear All,
Scenerion is at the time of Confirmation actual operation is done on diffrent resource that planned resource in Process order. If i confirm the process order using the actual resource(A) which is diffrent from resourcer (B) in process order, system is booking cost for the resource (b). I couldn ot getting correct cost .How can correct this.
And is this the right procedure?

I have oracle resource connected to IDM.
The users are created directly on Oracle.
These users already exist in IDM.
When running the recon need to link them to IDM.
the linking is fine, I need to also push the password in IDM to the oracle database.
I used change password workflow

Hy Satish,
As Mr. Prashobh has said there is only two ways two do the same.
One is change by BDC or LSMW and
Second is by capacity leveling.
One more option is don't change the Resorce in Process orders , but during the Phase Confirmation by Current Confirm Resource.

Error while changing the Resource Object Status

Hi,
I am trying to change the resource object status from Waiting to Provisioned for a self service task. Before approval I see the Resource Object Status as " Ticket Sent To REMEDY" on the administrator's web console and at the Requestor's web console I get the following error message-
???en_US.global.viewProfileForm.Lookup.Ticket-Sent-to-REMEDY???
But after approval, based on the completion the task, the process on both the consoles is set to provisioned. That is what I want to display but the problem comes when the requestors sees the error status message on its console before approval.
Can any body tell me the reason of the above error and how to resolve it?

do you have any custom written event handlers getting triggered off after request submission or during approval?
It might also be due to either a browser issue or you might have missed any entry in the xladmin properties file for a custom label/error message etc.

Change Batch during TO Confirmation

I am looking at a problem regarding batches, we have a Warehouse with materials that are batch controlled, and they need to be that, but our problem is that there are several different batches in one bin, and the FIFO princip is not necesary, since this is mostly steel components like plates and pipes, and we need to now which batch went where, we trried the LIFO set up, but the handling of the materials are a bit random so this does not work, so I am trying to find a way to change the batch during confirmation Is there any way, or must i call in the abap man?

I'm not sure if this will help you but I solved a similar issue once before.
For an intercompany PO, we had different quantities on the outbound and inbound deliveries. When they tried to recieve the outbound delivery in MIGO, the inbound delivery quantity (what was ordered) would default instead of what was actually shipped.
I implemented BADI BADI_LE_SHIPMENT so that when an outbound delivery was goods issued, the corresponding inbound delivery quantity would update if applicable. BAPI_INB_DELIVERY_CHANGE was used to modify the delivery.
Seeing your post, I looked at EKES. The quantity was updated to the quantity of the outbound delivery. Maybe this will work for you?

There are 2 values. The default and the maximum.
It starts at the default and can be increased up the maximum.
If you want change the value persistently and machine wide, you can put a config option
in /etc/system. Something like
set rlim_fd_cur = 8129
set rlim_fd_max = 8129
If you want to do it for your account only then, just put those lines into your profile.
But you'll still be only able to increase it up to the max.
The max can only be increased by root or in /etc/system.

How to change delivery date in confirmation tab in item overview in PO

It is even updating the table EKES.
Now my requirement is to change the delivery date from the above PO. Is there any function module for the same.

Network resource wise confirmation

Dear All
Is it possible to confirm production on resource network? Such as I have a plant that contains three parallel resources producing same product. I want to create a single process order and enter Goods movement for individual work centers production.
Please let me know if is it possible and how to do it?

Goods movements are done for the order; there's no way to distinguish between the individual WCs. The only way would be to have the manufactured material batch managed and enter the WC info in the classification of the batch. Not recommended, if you have other options.

Change Default resources Assignment Owner in Project Professional, in the checked-out Enterprise Resource Pool?

i'm not able to change the default Assignment Owner (massive) in the Checked-out Enterprise resource pool in Project Professional 2013.
I've also unlocked the "Windows account edit" in the Register Editor.
Do you know if is this possible or i have to change it for each resource one by one???

Hello Daniele,
I think what you are seeing is by design behavior. Per below article you can set the Default Assignment owner in Project Web Access and it appears in various places in Project client.

If you want to set the same default assignment owner for multiple resources then you can try bulk edit option in resource center.

Changes in resource name in Monitor Matrix for SQL Database @ Azure portal

Exact 4 months after starting of new SQL database tier, Resource Matrix changed.
old names :
CPU percentage
Log Write percentage
Physical Data Read percentage
new names are:
CPU
LogIO
DataIO
My question is they are equal :
CPU percentage = CPU (looks OK)
Log Write percentage = LogIO (Log Writes means IN but IO means both (in and out))
Physical Data Read percentage = DataIO (Read means OUT but IO means both (in and out))
If they are different then what is change ?

And now, we upgrade the monitor metrics name for CPU and IO activity of SQL Azure database. If you add the metrics of Data IO or Log IO individually in Monitor Page, it will show the same name with Physical Data Reads percentage and Log Writes Percentage,
you can refer to the following screenshot.
After I adding the Data IO, it will show as Physical Data Reads percentage in Monitor Page.

How to change the resource of an old project from 7830r to 7841r for a NI FPGA module?

Could you please tell me what is the easiest way to change the target resource (the device
information) for the FPGA in a old project? We are using a 7841R board, but the
old LabVIEW project always treat the board as 7830R and I therefore can not complete the compiling and run
the project.

You need to add the new board as a new target to the project. If you're using a recent version of LabVIEW you can then drag all the resources from the old FPGA target to the new one (I don't know if this works for IO items). In older versions of LabVIEW, you may be able to drag the files but you'll need to recreate the IO, FIFOs, memory blocks etc.

Change of Bin while confirming TO (Picking strategy FIFO)

Dear WM experts,
We use FIFO strategy for picking. Now for an outbound delivery we have the requirement to generate TO automatically. During confirming of the TO we should have option to change the suggested Bin (in the source storage type).
Could you please confirm what settings in IMG should I take care of for achieving this.

I'm afraid it isn't possible...
You can set destination storage bin change for your storage type in SPRO:
Logistics Execution ® Warehouse Management ® Master Data ® Define Storage Type
You can find a field called 'Dst bin ch. during confirm'...BUT SAP help says:
'No destination bin can be entered during confirmation for
- dynamic coordinates
- return items
- Lean WM (if the destination bin is defined in the movement type)
- posting change TOs
- inventory based on putaway
- additions to existing stock in storage units
- transaction Confirm single item'
I guess you are using dynamic bins for outbound deliveries...
