Change Infotype - History

Hi Experts,
I'm facing issue with SAP HR : I'm using PA30 to change IT0002, IT0105 and IT0315.
I'm using the "change" icon and I'm adding a new start date : I'm expecting SAP to create a new recording so I can track the history.
Nevertheless, it overwrite the existing current recording (I don't have multiple rows in PAxxxx tables).
I know a workarount would be to use the "create" icon but I would like to understand why this is happenning.

Hi Thibault,
When you click on the change button in PA30, it means you are directly changing the record, history is not maintained by changing the record in this way. By entring new start date SAP doesn't create a new record.
You can use copy option (Shift + F9) to create a copy of infotype record and then change data. In this way history will be maintained.

If i login to bank ffox removes id & pwd. ffox wont save changes to history or cookie settings.

when i log onto my bank it prompts for id and password. i key them in hit enter and the page comes back with id and password empty. i tried changing settings for history from remember history to use custom settings for history, deleting cookies and restarting ffox. when i check the settings they say remember history again. i do not use ffox password save feature. stuck.

The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all history and cookie settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Did you check the cookie exceptions?
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
*check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Production Order Change Documents - History

please give me one solution for PP Module. i want change documents history for production Order (PP Module) same like Material master chnage history display in MM04.

Dear,
All major changes in order will be tracked through the status management. Hence if you activate status management in order dependent parameter in IMG, I hope it will solve your problem. However OCM is the best way to get the changes happened to order, but main aim of OCM is to track the changes of BOM/routing w.r.t. change number or sales order and effect the changes.
Hence depending on your requirement you can take a decision between OCM or status management
Production >shop floor control> master data>order> order dependneent paramater

Does change log history get lost in RAR AC when you move from 5.2 to 5.3?

Since we upgraded to version 5.3 is appears as though we don't see any change log history for our functions under Rule Architect tab after we moved to 5.3. Does this make sense?

You should not lose any entries. 5.2 to 5.3 upgrade would not remove anytning from database. You need to finish all the post-installation steps before you make any changes into 5.3.

Change infotype 2003 when changing infotype 2001

Hi,
When changing some infotype 2001, I need to make a change for the same date in infotype 2003. So, I'm using BADI HRPAD00INFTY, method BEFORE_OUTPUT so I can change infotype 2003.
I already can change the infotype in that BADI, but after changing infotype 2001, which means on PAI, it seems that the old value of infotype 2003 is saved in memory, so it does not assume the new value there, and it gives me a warning message that I want to avoid with this development.
When I leave the transaction, infotype 2003 is updated, so that is working.
Do you have any idea how can I save the change in infotype 2003 in memory, so when changing 2001 it will recognize it?

You can try using the function call 'HR_INITIALIZE_BUFFER'.

Change Documents history

We are looking for a change document history report which can list all the accounting documents which have been changed for a period of time. I know we can retrieve the change documents for both parked and posted documents from the change history from the document itself.
I checked in the system but couldn't find any report whch can give me all the changes for all documents in one place. Does anyone have any idea on this issue.

Change track history for Ztable?

Hi,
I have created a ztable with more than 30 fields and I want to maintain the change track history for the ztable( if record modified or deleted or field values changes I need to maintain the history who changed and when and new values) .
What is the best approach I can follow to maintain the change track history for the ztable?
If I want to maintain the change track history in another ztable how can I do this?
Please let me know.

Where can we see the " Change document history " of internal order .

Where can we see the " Change document history " of internal order .
which are the tables help us to get the change document history .
Eg : The   Order From CRM get replicated to internal order in ECC . When   we do
some changes ( addition of new line item ) in CRM , it will update the internal order in ECC. I want to   see the changes in Internal order .

Thank you Rupesh   for your updation and   Answer . i still have some doubts . i tried the same in system , here are some of   my findings ,
Will   it gives complete date wise log of   changes in I/O. - I am not able to   see the full   log
Eg : When ever make some changes in   The CRM   order , the   changes get replicated to ECC as the CRM REMOTE as the user , But   here i could not get that complete history of change .
If you have any other solution , pls let me now .

Infotype History required in Report

Hi.
We have a requirement to fetch the history of change done in Infotypes(2001,2002,etc), we have stuck with the following fields at where to retrieve.
Requirement Example:
Consider the employee taken a sick leave half day on 25-Apr-14. The entry created in 2001 info-type. After that the Change done as Full Day on 25-Apr-14 for the same employee. In this case, the following change done.
Change done:
Field Name : ENDUZ
Old Value : 14:00
New Value : 18:00
Fields need to be captured:
Info type Field Name
Old Value before change done
New Value after change

Change infotypes end date when delete leaving action for employee

Hello,
I created new infotype and when employee leaves its end date is changed for leaving date.
When leaving action is deleted ther is some least of infotypes that user can sign so the end date of selected infotypes will be changed to 31.12.9999. How can i add my infotipe to this list?

Hi,
Maintain IT 0041 where in that table maintain employee start date of hiring and leaving date of employee bze in IT 0000 the dates will change as per action lets say if employee hire that date will be in IT 0000 action and if employee gets promotion date or leaving date that will store in IT 0000 by delimiting other actions
So maintain IT 0041 where you can pull dates from there if you maintain
End date will always be 31.12.9999 so check action start date you will get in sequence

Need suggestion to store change log history or creating a zlog table

Hello,
My requirement is to create a Ztable which will store the Hisotry / change log of data.
I have a program where i am using insert / update for a database table LFBW and displaying the log in the ALV ouput.
I need the same to be updated on Transaction level of FK02 (where entries of Table LFBW gets reflected).
so can any1 suggest me how this can be achieved?
If there is no way to store change history while insert /update on database table from prgram level then what type of z table(Type of Delivery Class ?
Data class ? i should create for the same

requirement: CS02 must input Change Number
configuration:OS25: BOM Usage-BOM status -history requirement flag selected
issue: CS02 change BOM, only warning message: Enter change number -BOM has history requirement
how to meet my demand? any other configuration?

Engineering Change Management Setup
This are the basic IMG settings in order to used the engineering change management
features.
x refers to a tick.
First setup the control data in OS54.
Revision sections
Fields :-
Revision level active            x
Ext. revision level              x
Higher revision level            x
Object Management Record sections
Fields :-
Object maintenance               x
Assign alternative date          x
Overide value/assignment date sections
Fields :-
Only with leading change mst.    x
Setting the Revision level active is to activate the engineering change management for
material master. If you do not want the engineering change management for materials,
remove the tick.
With a tick in "Higher revision level", the new revision level has to be always higher
than the old revision.
Secondly, setup the external number range in OS53.
If you use the internal number range, then remove the external number range.
Third, define the status for the change master records in transaction SM30 - V_T419S.

prompt your for an ECN number as is compulsory.
Lastly, define fields selection for routing in OP5A.
PP task lists: initial screen -> Change number -> Transaction code -> Tick Req.
Setting the Transaction code fields Required indicate that you have make the ECN number
compulsory when changing the routing.
Finally, do a test by making changes to the Material Master, BOM and Routing.

Logged changes infotype data

Hi Experts,
I have configure the Logged infotype tables(V_T585A/B/C) and getting the output.
My requirement is to display the additional column for subtype text.
After running the report RPUAUD00 we get the Logged changes in Infotype data and if we click on particular row in the output we will get complete details. Then the first column is Subtype.
Can we get Subtype text to display(in another column)??
Is that possible?

Yep,
some pretty straightforward customizing:
Check IMG: Personnel Management --> Personnel Administration --> Tools --> Revision --> Set up change document.
Be aware that this will turn on audit logging from the moment the transport hits PRD, so historical change documents will not be created.

Firefox keeps randomly changing Clear History settings to also clear Saved Passwords.

I have "Clear history when Firefox closes" selected but the "Saved Passwords" option is unchecked.
After a couple of days the "Saved Passwords" option becomes automatically selected. I am certain that nobody is manually changing these settings but the change happens nevertheless.
This breaks my Sync and it drives me crazy. Any ideas how to fix this problem?
