    Today Ireceived a message when I was updating my app at my iPad that I should change my payment method that was rejected (???), I try to update and keep the same message... So now maybe better to use address and card from Qatar.
    I could not understand how can I change the country and shop since everything at the address is linked to Brazil.
    Also I'm afraid to lose the installed app...

    You won't lose apps that are installed.   You will lose the ability to update them
    Business with the App stores is restricted to those stores in your formal country of residence (your billing address) and a bank supported credit card from that same country.   You can buy and update apps with those details only in that country.
    If you have established residences and bank supported accounts in other countries you can also use those.   You can buy and update apps in those countries using those details.
    You cannot interchange them.   You cannot merge IDs or purchase details.

  • Need to change my Country. Appalled with Adobe Customer Service

    I am absolutely shocked at how far Adobe's customer service has fallen. In the past i could simply call up their toll free line and get an answer to my question or have my isse resolved. It seems those days are LONG gone.
    On Black Friday I wanted to buy lightroom which was on sale. I live in Canada. I always have. For some unknown reason my country was set to the US. When i tried to buy Lightroom none of my payment methods (paypal, creditcard) could go through because my payment methods indicate I live in Canada.
    I immediately tried to contact Adobe. First i must comment on their terrible phone system. I have to wade through menu after menu, none actually representing my need to change my Adobe information. Finanlly i got to an option where i could talk to a live person - but wait - there are callers ahead of me and i'll have to wait an estimated 2 hours (is that a joke?). Lucky for me they have a call back option. But the call back option DOES NOT WORK! After i enter my number the automated message says my number can not be regonized. I tried it every way possible, multiple times and it never went through.
    Eventually I gave up. I chalked it up to Adobe being busy because of Black Friday and just created a new account to buy Lightroom.  That went through no problem (it seems Adobe is good at TAKING my money). I figured i'd try back next week and have my Country changed and consolidate both my accounts into one.
    MORE THAN A MONTH HAS PASSED. I have tried several times over the weeks. THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A TIMELY MANNER!! The phone situation is the same as above. Often the 'Chat with a live rep' option is not even available. When it is I CONSTANTLY get this message in the chat window :
    We are still assisting other customers, thank you for your patience. You can also try ourcommunity forums, where experts are online 24/7.
    Even as i type this message i have been on hold on the phone for 30 mins, and still no response in my chat window. This is ridiculous.
    WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO EMAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE???!?!?!?
    At this point I'd be happy with returning my Lightroom purchase and changing my country to Canada on my original Adobe ID. I have lost all faith in Adobe.

    I am trying to get Adobe to rerelease the software and registration number for my CS4 suite but my email & ID has changed from [email protected] to [email protected] for some reason the ID link now says I am in the US not Australia. I get the same message:
    To change your country, contact Customer Service.
    But that has not been possible online.

    I only want the dreamweaver and adobe pdf creator & editing software but the links on US site don't work either.

    You should be able to do it yourself, log into your account (e.g. by tapping on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your iPad) and put your US billing address on your account : Change the country of your iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account
    You won't be able to change your country on your account if you have a balance on it, or if you have unexpired rentals or season passes.

    I had a similar problem, and it was quite a challenge for Adobe. Their online systems, shall we say, have a few issues. 
    I had two Adobe IDs in different countries (one dated from Macromedia days and was set to US, the other was UK).  I had some products registered on one, some on the other. 
    They couldn't change the country of either Adobe ID, but after a series of long on-line chat sessions and phone calls (It totalled over 5 hours - no kidding). They moved all the products to the UK ID. 
    I suggest you might have to do somthing similar.  Create a new ID in Oz and get them to move products over.  However, go talk to them, and expect it to take a long time. 
    One gotcha to be aware of: don't change the email associated with an account, or if you do, allow many days after before doing anything else.  When I changed the email associated with and ID, it changed immediately as far as I was concerned, but the agents online were still getting the old email and account details on their systems for several days.  It caused huge confusion.  It appears some changes happen only in batches overnight - and not every night! 
    Edited to add: if you don't have any product registration info on the trial account ID, do you need to change the country?  It might save you a lot of pain and grief just to create a new ID in Oz, and forget about the old one. 
    However, you can't create a new ID with the same email address as an existing one.  If you want to use the same email address on a new ID, you'll still need another one temporarily.  Change the UK ID to a new email address.  Wait at least 24 hours.  Create the Oz account with the original email (if that's what you want), which you should be able to do after a day or two.  But as I say, it takes several days for changes like email address to trickle through Adobe's systems.  The speed of light is rather slow in Adobe.

    One way is to go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores, click on your Apple ID at the top, then "View Apple ID".
    Sign in, and change your Country / Region there.

    Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
    In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
    You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

I want to use it and i know that in iTunes is an option for changing the country. I did a bit of research and i found that there can be problems with redownloading the apps and updates.
    On my iTunes account i have only free apps and 8 paid apps, from reedem codes: Infinity blade, Draw Something, Angry Birds, Angry Birds Space HD, Paper Monsters, GarageBand, Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope HD. I think they are all in the Romanian iTunes store.
    I don't have any music, movies or books.
    I want to know what problems I'll have.

    The other thing is if the install messes up the computer, it isn't covered and they typically require you to return it to stock os to work on it.
