Change language after installation

When I start Encore cs3, for some reason, the language is set to Japanese ... how do I change this to English? is it possible anyway? the only thing I see is squares instead of text.

When we install encore in some other language then the workspace gets created in that language and is saved under the preferences. Even when we uninstall and install the application it is still saved on the machine. Delete the workspace.xml from C:\Documents and Settings\mona\My Documents\Adobe\Encore\3.0\Layouts manually and then launch encore.

You can run the Photoshop CS6 Installer again, and choose English (Arabic) as the language instead of English (North America)
Then in Photoshop Preferences > Interface, select English Arabic as your "UI language". Restart Photoshop.
If you use the Creative Cloud desktop application manager, click on the gear symbol,and select Preferences. This will install the English Arabic versions of all trial apps.

I'm writing on behalf of one of our students. Our (German) university provides colleagues and students with a legit disc of Adobe CS4 Design Premium, provided by a central IT department.
Unfortunately at setup time, using this DVD, no language choice is available except German, which proves problematic for most foreign students (either from other European countries, e.g. France, or farther, e.g. China).
Activation and registration of this German-only version succeeds with the provided serial, however this very serial number does not allow any later "on top" installation of another language, for instance from international ESD versions of CS4 (LS1 or LS3). We expected to add some Chinese or at least English language.
Browsing the various forums does not give very clear answer as to the language-switching ability of these various Creative Suites setup files. It is not even clear to us if our installation medias are language-locked, country-specific or such.
To the questions:
• are (legit) serial numbers language-specific? is there any restriction as to which languages a serial number allows to install?
• is there any way to "unlock" additional languages from our CS4 installation DVD? or are there any language packs to install, for Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator?
• in case our license is language-restricted, what pricing options are there? (upgrade discount, separate language disc?)
I'm asking on these forums hoping to get some enlightenment, but will gladly contact the customer service if things prove more complicated than expected.

Yes. You only get the language you paid for - German.

No and no.

Your only option is to upgrade to CS5.5 and make the language switch to European/ International English.

Just wondering if this can be done without uninstall and re install. I tried to change my preferences in the creative cloud manager, but there is no place to save and it didn't do a think to my existing program. Is there a hidden switch in photoshop to do that?

we have an ME system installed with german language settings in the Netweaver config tool. We would like to change this english. I found in the installation guide the following remark:
The u2013Duser.country and u2013Duser.language values must be set to the single, supported language
for the SAP ME installation and cannot be modified after initial data has been loaded in SAP ME in
the Loading Initial Data section below. For more information, see your SAP ME consultant.
Can you tell the tables which need to be changed?

We were having a R12.1.3 with NLS supplement media with us. We have installed it on on one of our development server.
We have selected 14 languages at the time of installation.And after installation when the login page appeared , we were able to see all the languages but only English is enabled.Rest other languages were disabled.
Question 1: Steps to enable rest of the languages in R12 and 11i environments.Is there any relation with localisations?
Question 2: How patches(one off , mini packs, family packs and maintainence packs) are applied for this type of environments.
Detailed Steps required.
Question 3: If only India localisation is in use do we require to apply patches for other languages as well at this point of time.
Question 4. How CPU patches are applied for this type of enviroments.

But some machine, all in german, install the agent in english but why.

I have installed the full, multilingual version of Adobe Acrobat XI pro. The installation process was in English and I was never asked to select the language. Then, to my surprise, the software runs in German. How do I change the language? Now, I don't understand the menu.

Please go to Acrobat's Edit>Preferences > Language and change the Application Language from English to "Choose at application startup".

No. Actually its a not uncommon practise in iOS. See the app "Where is my Water" for instance. You can freely select what language you want to use in the game.
Another iOS app where the app does not offer this feature but should is XCom. For me the app uses German text with US-English movies and ingame speech. I would rather have complete english than a language mix, but I cant switch the game. I could swich my ipad to english, then the game would use english. But this would lead to other problems and its not really user friendly.
Speaking of language support. It is also ok to download languages after installation. After all it is only data, no executable.

It looks like your phone was originally meant for use in the Middle East and the dealer who sold it to you installed an alternative language pack before he sold you the phone. When you updated the firmware it reverted back to its original intended language.
Language packs can only be installed by Nokia Care Point, so I reckon the best thing for you to do is to contact your nearest care point and see if they will do it for you.

uninstall id, open your cc desktop app>click settings (the gear icon)>preferences>apps>app language>english>reinstall id

It cannot be changed after you have installed the SAP system
You have the option to chose before you setup the system ie, during the installation.

SLD: Duplicate Technical System after Installation Number change

We changed the installation number for a system. After this, inside SLD there are 2 entries for this system, with 2 different installation number (new and old). What is the correct procedure to remove one of the entry (old one).
Please advise.

Its ok even if you have forgotten to register to the SLD during installation.We can regaister after installation.Since SLD runs on java engine then if you go to http://<ipaddress or hostname of the server>:5<instancenumber>00/sld

Difference between technical systems and business systems is that business systems are used in PI/XI.Whereas technical systems are nothing but your ECC , CRM etc.You have to use business systems only when there is a case for connecting to XI/PI.Hope i have answered your quesries if not please let me know.
