Change language in wiki and personal pages

The default pages when a user starts his own wiki and personal pages are in english. I need to change it to start in Portuguese, even if I need to edit the php files (files that I have no clue where they are). Please, can anybody help me?

Maybe you run the statement with 2 different users and there could be some policies enabled for those tables ( VPD )

Other language for Wiki and blog?

The subject pretty much says it all. Is there a way to change the language of the menues in the wiki and blog? If not it´s pretty useless features for a large percent of Leopard Server buyers.

The wiki and blog are displayed in the system language of the client. In other words, if you're operating Safari from a German system, the software will display in German.

When I change my Internet (proxy) and home page settings and then close and reopen Firefox, they are not saved. Why is this happening?

I am going under Tools and Options, then Advanced -> Network -> Settings and changing the automatic configuration script for my work network. When I hit OK everything works. But when I close out Firefox, and then reopen it at a later time, it does not save the setting change I made and I have to do it all over again. This is also happening when I change my home page information as well...

Yesterday I was working on my computer and I changed English to Lithuanian language on the keyboard. I shut down my computer. Now when I want open it, I can't type correct password to access my account . There is left Lithuanian language on keybord, with has no numbers. And I need numbers to use for my password.

It does have numbers of course, they are made by first hitting the ` key (top most left most on a US keyboard) and then the usual number key. Have you tried that? Such combos often don't work in password fields, but you never know.

Powerpoint: change language, delete notes and no proofing

Hi all,
Could anyone assist me for these 3 little scripts?
1. Set the language of all slides to French or English (if it helps, I don't mind having to manually select the first slide to start the script and have a message error as the script reaches the last slide)
2. Delete all notes from slides (if it helps, I can put myself in Notes Page view)
3. Set all notes text to no proofing (so as not to be bothered during spell check: however I just realised that (no proofing) is an option in Ppt for Windows, but not for Mac, so is there a work around?)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where are wikis and people pages stored?

Does anyone know how to delete people pages, I deleted the user but the people page still exists. I would like to find out were the data is located so I can remove it.

The data is located in the PostreSQL database called "collab".
Maybe you just have to restart the wiki service?

How do I change my search engine and home page to google?

Hello the search engine drop down arrow has no search engines attached to it so i can't pick a default engine from there and when i go to "Manage Search Engines" the restore default button if shaded and inaccessible. Google also isn't an option when you click "Get more search engines" either, But i can manage to add some websites like You Tube to the search engine list. I also cant search anything on the Firefox homepage bar because there is no search engine connected to it. I can switch the homepage by going to options and typing in Google, but then the Firefox logo goes away and its still no in sync to the search engine bar. I have no recollection of how it disappeared, but Ive been using Firefox for a few years now on various computers and never had an issue I could fix. I'm hoping i don't have to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it because ill have to open internet explore which still gives me Toshiba adds and surveys from my previous computer and has a "22find search engine"... what ever that is?... and I slow internet (130Kbs PEAK!) at the moment so its just all going to be a hassle.

How to change default layout of "personal pages"?

Hello everybody,
I configured my portal instance to automatically create new "personal pages" for new portal users. This works fine.
However...
can anyone give me a hint whether it is possible to change the initial layout of (i.e. locate and edit the template for) these new "personal pages"?
And, in addition, is there a place to configure that users are redirected to a custom start page after logging in?

To change the template used for Personal pages, follow the path
Page Groups > Shared Objects > Templates
and edit the "Template for Personal Pages" template.

How to view new comments on Wiki or Blog Pages?

I am trying to find a way (either via RSS, via Email or via a custom search) to be able to identify OSX Server Wiki- and Blog-pages with new comments easily. Unfortunately this seems to be somewhat of a problem, since most searches I tried do not include comments. Plus, I could not figure out if there is a RSS feed for new comments on posts (the usual RSS feeds do not include the comments on the pages). Does anybody know a way to get this working with the 10.5 Server Collaboration tools?

I have searched this forum extensively and found lots of people with the same issues.. but no solutions. It seems like this just might not be possible with the Server Wiki. If anyone does find a solution I would love to hear what it is!
In the meantime.. I have been telling users to add a comment, then click the edit button, add the text "Comment Added" as the comment about the page edit, and then click save. This makes it so that the page has been "updated" and will show up in an RSS feed with the title "Comment Added". It is a silly solution and adds extra time and complexity for people.. but so far it is the best solution I have come up with.

Command Spacebar opens Spotlight as you have found out. If you want to change languages you need to say what app you are using to write the story in, I'm guessing you are using Pages or MS Word. If that's the case
Pages: Open Inspector - Click the T tab - Click Language and change your language.
MS Word: Tools Menu - Language - Choose your language.

I have chosen a persona, but when I start up Firefox, Mozilla start page with Google shows, and persona is just barely visible only in the toolbar area. How do I get the persona to show, and not Google start-up page?

I checked out the Mozilla Personas, saw one I liked, and added on. When I start Firefox, the Mozilla start-up page shows as usual with Google on it. The Persona I chose barely shows, and only in the Toolbars area at the top of the screen. Can I modify the start-up page to not show Google, and access Google another way, so that my Persona will show on the whole start-up page?

If the Library folder is not shown in your login directory, then open a Finder window, and press command+J. This will open a Finder View Options panel. On it, there is a selectable entry to Show Library Folder. Once this is selected, the Library folder will appear. Now, follow the instructions in my May 6 post. You will have to right-click on com.apple.iWork.Pages and choose Show Package Contents, before continuing.
Correction: login_directory/Library/Containers/com.apple.iWork.Pages/Data/Library/Applicatio n Support/User Templates/
The host software persists in changing the correct Application Support text above to Applicatio n Support, which does not exist.
