Change language of CC Desktop

How can I change the language of the CC Desktop App (Win) to English when installed on a German system?
Thanks.

Hi,
CC Desktop App will always pick up the OS(system) language. So its UI will always be German for you. However you can get other apps downloaded by it in English. To do this, click on gear icon in top right corener of CC Desktop App and then on preferences. Click on apps tab on the preferences and dialogue and change the App Language dropdown Selection to English.

    Things changed recently with the introduction of the "mintlocale" package in Linux Mint, which now handles this in Cinnamon.
    For now, to add new locales you need to still use the /etc/locale.gen and locale-gen way of adding them.
    To change language used, you need the mintlocale package installed.

  • How do I to change language to English in PS CC ?

    How do I to change language to English in PS CC ?

    In Photoshop CC Preferences:
    Interface > Text > UI Language > English
    If English is not available, you must download it using your CC Desktop app and choosing English as the language. The app list should show an Install option for Photoshop. This example is for German, but same idea. You get to CC Preferences by clicking on the gear icon in the screenshot below.
    After you install it, English should be seen in the UI Language menu. Select it and restart Photoshop.

    Hi BulKa59,
    Thats strange. Could you share a screenshot of the CC desktop app preferences panel?
    May i also know the operating system on which you are working?
    Try to sign out from CC desktop app and then sign in back and check if you get the option to change the language.
    Also, what is your operating system language?

    change to english on pro8600

    Lets start with you helping by identifying your notebook completely.
    HP has produced and brought to market more than a thousand different models of notebooksmodels of notebooks and desktop PCs over the years. It is difficult to help you if we don't know which one you own..
    Method #1: If the notebook will boot into Windows, you can retrieve your Product Number by pressing Fn + Esc key.
    Method #2:
    Remove the battery and look in the compartment where the battery was installed. You should see a Service tag with printed part number and a product name. Please post the p/n (with all alphanumeric characters here). If you live outside of North America, it helps us if you post the country of purchase.
    Don't forget to post the name of the installed operating system,  if you haven't already done that.
    In your case that is the most important thing besides identifyin your notebook that you can do to help us help you.  You won't be "change language on pro8600" .You will be changing the display language of your Microsoft Windows operating system. Whether or not we can help you with that depends on the version of the Windows Operating system that is installed.

  • Itunes automatically changes language

    Hi guys, the itune store on my iphone just changed language automatically.. I cant read it now...i tired to go to general and change the language of my phone to another language and change it back to english, but it did not work..HELP!

    Hi!
    Thanx for the message. I'm also sorry for bothering you on this! Sniff
    Well, I've tried clicking directly on the NateOn icon from the program files, but it didn't work. Somehow it still gets iTunes to automatically reinstall itself.
    I've also tried deleting all the Korean language files in the iTunes program files, but once I click on that messenger icon, it goes back to the very beginning.
    Things could be just simple if I could stop using the NateOn, but it really is a good messenger (even far better than MSN) so I couldn't...
    I've also tried contacting the NateOn service team, but no replies yet-since last six days...
    I hope I don't have to choose between these two programs in the end, 'coz both are great.
    p.s. I've also tried creating a new NateOn desktop shortcut, and it still reinstalls iTunes.. I'm going crazy...

    Hi, try this...
    Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
    Move these files to the Desktop for now...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.HIToolbox.<12digitHexNu mber>.plist
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.HIToolbox.plist
    Reboot & set it up again.
    PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.

  • How to Change language after installation?

    Hello,
    Kindly I need to know how to change language of adobe photoshop extended cs6 v.13.0 from English to English support Arabic?
    Your prompt reply will be so highly appreciated...
    Thank you
    Rehab

    You can run the Photoshop CS6 Installer again, and choose English (Arabic) as the language instead of English (North America)
    Then in Photoshop Preferences > Interface, select English Arabic as your "UI language". Restart Photoshop.
    If you use the Creative Cloud desktop application manager, click on the gear symbol,and select Preferences. This will install the English Arabic versions of all trial apps.

  • How to change language to french

    Hi, I'd  like to know how to change the language of photoshop CS6 from english to french please ?

    Sorry, my mistake.
    I think Photoshop CS6 did not offer free changeability of language yet – at least with perpetual license.

    what key(s) do it type to change language from english to other? i am writing a story in dual languages. I was told to click command and space bar together but it is not working.

    Command Spacebar opens Spotlight as you have found out. If you want to change languages you need to say what app you are using to write the story in, I'm guessing you are using Pages or MS Word. If that's the case
    Pages: Open Inspector - Click the T tab - Click Language and change your language.
    MS Word: Tools Menu - Language - Choose your language.

  • How to reload the screen when changing languages in JavaFX 2?

    I'm beginner with javaFX and i need to change language of the screen. but i have no idea how to reload the screen when the language was changed. The application have a button where have the language available. I want just refresh screen when the user change language.
    Here is the start method to show the stage.
        @Override
        public void start(Stage stage) throws Exception
            this.stage = stage;
            Locale locale = Locale.getDefault();
            ResourceBundle rb = ResourceBundle.getBundle("resources/Label",locale);
            loader = new FXMLLoader(getClass().getResource("FXMLDocument.fxml"),rb);
            root = (Parent)loader.load();
            FXMLDocumentController controller = (FXMLDocumentController) loader.getController();
            controller.setMain(this);
            scene = new Scene(root);
            stage.setScene(scene);
            stage.show();
    here is the function to change the language(in the same class with start function),the rb is the new ResourceBundle:
        public void refresh(ResourceBundle rb)
              //change the language here
    1. I don't want to use the resourceBundle to get value in resource file and set label in scene one by one.like following:
    this.btnLabel.setText(rb.getString(key.test));
    2. I don't want to reload the scene,like following:
        public void refresh(ResourceBundle rb)
             try
                loader = new FXMLLoader(getClass().getResource("FXMLDocument.fxml"),rb);
                root = (Parent)loader.load();
                scene.setRoot(root);
                FXMLDocumentController controller = (FXMLDocumentController) loader.getController();
                controller.setMain(this);
            catch(Exception err)
                err.printStackTrace();
    So do we have a solution to just set the resourceBundle and reload the scene easier?
    Thanks and best regards!

    Your option 2 (reload the FXML for the scene using the new resource bundle as a parameter), is the way this would normally be done and what I would recommend.
    Failing that, you could use option 1 of individually resetting the label text of labeled items (I don't really recommend this).
    Why don't you want to use option 2?
    Perhaps it is because there is some internal state of the UI which differs from the initial state when the the UI is first loaded (e.g. user has typed text in a text field and you want to preserve that).  If that's the case you will need to either go with your option 1 of individually resetting the label text of labeled items, or implement something which preserves the UI state and user data by saving it in memory or to disk, reloading the UI via the FXMLLoader (essentially your option 2), then restoring the UI state and user data to what it was before the language change.  Preserving and restoring the modified state seems complicated to me if you have a lot of state, so I wouldn't really advise this approach unless you really needed it.
