Change language settings

Hi there,
I have a problem with my log in, it seems that all my data dictionary / class / FM are in german now! I'm refering to the description of the fields / methods, etc...what can I do to reset my language preference to EN? I already logged in as EN!

the transaction you are working on is SE18
if you check the menu and choose 'Goto' end then choose 'Translation' you should be able to change the language....
Original language DE German
Target language .. fill in EN
The 'Target language' enables you to change the language key:
Language Key
The language key designates the language in which you:
Display texts
Enter texts
Print documents.

Change language settings creative suite CS5

Hi everybody,
I am new on this forum, just bought the design premium creative suite 5.5 and I have issues with language settings.
I bought the pack in France (I am french), live in the Netherlands and wish to use the software in English.
At the first installation I filled France as country on my profile but that resulted in an installation in French,I thought I would be able to choose the language settings, but seems I couldn't change it. So I desintalled the pack, and try to reinstal, but the country question did not appear anymore, seems like I am stuck now.
Could somebody help me?
Do I have to fill a UK or US address to be able to use the suite in English? that seems a bit weird...

Edit: I have cleaned up the computer with the clean up tool, and erased all I could find, but I still have " Language: French" when I enter the serial number...

You can reinstall in English if your package supports it, otherwise there is no way to consistently switch languages. Photoshop can be tricked by installing in English without a serial number, then run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and installing again with a serial number in Spanish. After that you can choose the language in teh PS prefs. This method does not work with other programs, though...

Changing language settings don't effect international websites on Safari

I live in France, but I'm an American. My language settings in system preferences/international is limited to English. Nothing else is on the list. Still when I visit websites which have multi language options, Safari keeps picking the french ones, where Firefox does not. This is extremely annoying, for almost every website I need to find the language settings and change to US Eng one by one and save cookie for that.
Is there a way to fix this with Safari?

Actually, it's supposed to be in Safari already, that's why I said language settings in Preferences in my OP. It's supposed to make Safari decide which language in websites it'll select too, but it's just not working.

You may need to use the Edit button to add British English to the list in system prefs/language & text/languages. Also check Safari > Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar.

It should do it automatically but otherwise just select select the text:
Menu > Edit > Spelling & Grammar > Show Spelling & Grammar > Automatic by language > change to your prefered language

I am a native English speaker living in Korea. I am currently using a borrowed laptop while mine is in the shop. It is running Korean Windows (XP, I think). When I downloaded Firefox, as far as I could tell, I had no options of language preferences. It automatically gave me the Korean version. I need English. Is there a way to change that setting? (of course, the menus are all in Korean, so I'm not even sure where to find "settings.") Or should I uninstall and start over with trying to download and English version?

Uninstalling the version you have is your best bet. Open the control panel, click on Add/Remove Programs, and select Mozilla Fireox, or Firefox. After uninstalling Firefox, re-download it by visiting http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html. Scroll down to the English (US) version, and click the download button (The one with the windows logo next to it)I hope this helps.

How to change Language settings in Pages

When i installed ipages 08 i made the mistake of selecting english instead of british english as my language setting. I was wondering if there is any way to change it permanently to british english, its driving me mad having american corrections. I know how to change the language on selected parts of text but wanted to know if i can make my default language british english as its really annoying having to change it for every document i make. I've tried moving iworks into the trash can and reinstalling it, but i never got the option to change the language.

Welcome to Apple discussions.
Pages looks at your system preferences > international > language setting to determine your preferred language. If it's set on "English," then you've chosen American English. If British English isn't in the list, click on the Edit List button, then put Brit English at the top of the list.

Certain addons are appearing in spanish. How do i change language settings?

I noticed that a few of my extensions were in spanish, specifically adblock plus and fasterfox. I just downloaded flashblock and it showed up in spanish too. I have other extensions that are showing up in english though so i'm not sure what's happening. i cant find any settings for language either. I'm using firefox on a mac by the way.

Your user agent shows a Catalan (ca) language setting.
It is quite likely that extensions that do support that locale switch to a locale in Spanish instead of English.
You can check the language setting in Firefox > Preferences > Content > Languages

How change language settings in add-ons? FF mostly gives german directions; want to change it in dutch

I'm using FF 3.6.12, and I'm using about 10 add-ons; they all give directions in the German language; I want to change that in Dutch; please help! thanks in advance

Hello andon, Please re-download Firefox from the Mozilla.com website and try to install it.
# Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html the Firefox site for international versions] and re-download the desired installation file.

SharePoint Foundation 2010 : Changing language settings

My employer would like to offer our clients the ability to specify a preferred language in-which to use our SharePoint solution.
I.e. Clicking on a national flag on the dashboard will consequently display the system text within the associated language.
Ideally this feature will be bespoke to each given user. I.e. Default language will be English. Each user thereafter will be able to specify their unique user session within their desired language.
Is it possible to configure our solution to offer this feature? If so, how?
We are currently using SharePoint Foundation 2010.

The ability to display prompts in a different language in SharePoint 2013 is called the
Multiple Language User Interface (MUI). The issue with what you are attempting is not building an interface to enable or disable a specific language in the MUI. The problem is that the available languages are completely dependent on whether
a SharePoint Language pack for that language has been loaded or not. If they have been loaded then its just a matter of writing your application to take advantage of Localization support through the use of resource files. But localizing your application
without loading the SharePoint language pack for that language probably won't work well. here's a couple articles on the MUI and localization.

Change language settings for ipod

I just bought an 80GB iPod and accidentally press the wrong language selection on the screen of the ipod and now it only displays japanese or something! I mean I can't even tell what it is, can you please help me? I am getting frustrated!

Change language settings via URL in CRM ISA B2C

I have external product catalog, and I use the following format of URL to access ISA B2C in English:

Now I need to access the Spanish version of the site. I know I can do it via this URL, http://<server>:<port>/b2c/b2c/init.do?language=es. However, instead of going to init.do, is there a way to use the format of the first URL and in Spanish flavor? It does not work if I simply append &language=es after the first URL.

try to run the report "rscpinst" in tx se38. Just "ADD" the entry "DE - German" to this table.
The first entry in this table should be the default value for the Logon Screen.

IPhone Update changes language settings

I just updated my iPhone 4s from 4.3.3 to 6.1.3
Took some time to upload but finally it was finished
But...
On start up to promps me to configure the WiFi settings ...
IN VIETNAMESE !!!!!!!!!!
WHAT the "XYZ@#!!" is that all about
I am trying to restore from a back up, made befre the update,
but is is taking a long time & the 1st time stopped due to
not having enough memory
Any answers.. or do I ask a VIETNAMESE person to do it ?

FIXED it myself ...
Had to restore to factory settings
Lucky I backed up everything to the PC
But, still had to configure EVERYTHING !!!!
Emails, Passwords iCloud .. the lot
I can tell you that at 5.40am in the morning..
I'm NOT A HAPPY PERSON just because the iPhone
needed an update

I've been sucked into the Mac product universe! Just this week my wife and I bought new iPhone 4s (16 and 32 GB) and today I bought the wifi and 3G 64 gb iPad. I had the hardest time setting up an iTunes and AppStore account, which I assume is an apple account?
I'm currently living in Germany but I'm an English speaker. This makes for a very frustrating app and iTunes experience when EVERYTHING is in German! How can I set it to where all my iTunes and AppStore menus and things are displayed in English?

aye, in order to open a US iTunes store account, you need

Items on any particular country's iTunes Store are available only for distribution to customers who use a credit card, debit card, iTunes Gift Certificate, or iTunes Gift Card issued in and for that country.+
edit: actually, you should be able to create a US store account even without a CC by following these instructions: _*Create an iTunes App Store account without a credit card*_.
however, that will only give you access to free content - no rentals and no purchases.
