Change language without re-login

Hi Gurus,
May I know is there anyway we can switch to another language without using the option at login screen? Means when I'm is SAP Menu(let's say default is English) and would like to change the current session to Japanese language without re-login. Is it possible?

I think I'm really only interested in the UI and really the entire UI.
I suspect this is unreasonable because we're talking about resetting environment variables, and I don't see any way to do that. Still, Apple could have done something interesting on top of the Unix underneath.

I'm just wondering if it's possible for Mac-OSX to change the language for the keyboard, without the user doing it himself.
The admin here at my Uni told me not to change the keyboard to USA. I told him that I hadn't - and it's true: I didn't. I've been using French on my keyboards for the past twenty years. He said that I'm the only one who uses this eMac.
Is there a known bug that makes the language change?

It's quite possible. You can check in System Prefs/International/Input Menu to see what boxes are checked. If there is more than one, then accidentally hitting certain keyboard shortcuts could switch from one to the other. Even if only one is checked, random changes in the layout are not unknown. But you would certainly notice any such switch yourself, since azerty and qwerty layouts are so different.

My iTunes has changed languages, without me doing it. How do I change it back to English?

I was using my iTunes yesterday, and it was in English, today I opened the program and everything was in Russian. Why did this happen? and how do I change it back, as the language options are also in Russian.

How can I change language without logging out?

All,
I'd like to create, say, an icon on the desktop which changes the current language (e.g. English) to a new one (e.g. Russian) when you click on it.
I'm not sure this is either easy or possible on OS X, but it sure would be convenient.

Changing language in login or password window

Ok, this is very important question for, maybe, all russian speaking owners of iphones or ipads. In russia and other russia or other russian speaking countries many sites implemented new service ( you can type your login or pass in russian). But iOS doesn't have the option to change language in these login pass windows. If its possible, and I really hope thats it is, fix this problem please. Appreciate

I don't think you can change the language in the programs individually, at least you didn't use to be able to. If am wrong I am sure someone here can correct me. You can however change the language for all the programs via the settings in the CC app.
I had a similar need, being a teacher teaching both in the Swedish and English versions of the programs. I simply installed one language on my laptop and the other on my desktop. Maybe won't work for your need, but a tip none the less..

You can't change languages in any of the movies offered in the store. Some movies have subtitles but it is in the same language as the movie.
Depending on what country you are in, you may get movies in that countries native language.

How can I change Firefox language without having to download it again?

I'd like to know how I can change firefox language, without having to download and re-install it again. I read there is a way to do it, but I just can't find the language file I have to download. (I have firefox in french, and i want to set it in spanish)

You need an English language version and there is no en-US language pack in Firefox 3.6. If you do not want the download the en-US version then you can install the en-GB language and switch to that version and remove the Spanish es-ES language pack from the chrome folder in the Firefox program folder.

You can install language pack just like extensions.<br />
You can set the pref "general.useragent.locale" to the preferred language ("en-GB") on the about:config page.<br />
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, like you open a web site.<br />
Use the Filter bar at the top of that page to quickly locate the pref.

Errorlog filling with changed language setting and changed database context messages

On one of my servers, the ERRORLOG is filling with messages for "Changed language setting to..." and "Changed database context..." for every single connection. They are generated for any kind of connection--such as Management Studio.
How did this get turned on? How do I suppress the messages in the errorlog? This is the only server that's having the problem.

How can change language of application dynamic?

In the dialog I have combo box in which I can select desire language for application. When I select value I save this value in the config file. But language change ONLY when I exit and again enter to the application. How can change language of application dynamic (without exit from application) ?

How can change language of application dynamic (without exit from application) ?I guess your application sets the locale at "startup", based on the contents of the config file, using a call to java.util .Locale.setDefault(Locale). Did you try to call this method in response to the selection in the combobox?
This won't refresh all widgets already created however. You probably have to re-create them all.
There may be case-by-case way to refresh them, for example Locale-dependent layout may be taken into account dynamically. Try and tell us.

If you are talking about the menus and dialogues, go to system prefs/language & text/language and move Czech to the top of the list and then logout/login.
If you are talking about the keyboard, let us know.

Hello, I have a similar problem, but in JSF application and the mine is more frustrating. When I put my language (catalan) in the locate configuration int faces-config like this:

the application appears in english instead of catalan. In spide of exist a class called BLAFBundle_ca wich contains the needed texts in catalan for show the ADF components, I coulden't do work. When I put "es_ES" instead of "ca" the components are showed in spanish correctly, and if I put "de" is showed in deutch correctly.
I decided decompile the class MessageBundle_es_ES from adf-faces-api.jar, put it in my source project without change its package. I modified a validation message and it worked. I decide the same for change the ADF components literals ("expand all", "select all", "next"...) and I found it in BLAFBundle_es_ES, I found it in adf-faces-impl.jar and in uix2.jar (this last not used in my project). I do the same steps with the previous file, but doesn't works !!!

Change language in After Effects CS5

I have AE CS5 and installed the whole thing in German (because I am German^^) but now I realize that for tutorials and so on it would be much easier in Englisch. So is there a way to change the language without reinstalling? I had a look for some answers, but the "Languages"-folder isn't located at
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\After Effects CS5"
I use the 64-bit-Version

This is as easy as it gets. Sorry to disappoint, but you rather be glad it is actually there and it's not like in other programs where you cannot switch languages at all. For all intents and purposes, this is not meant to provide an all out solution for flexible language switching, it is merely a fallback measure when the user needs to use prefab projects from the web or follow tutorials as wel las providing a compatibility fix for some plug-ins and scripts thatr do weird things in foreign language environments. Your program is still tied to the serial number you bought it with and that ultimately dictates any language settings. This also means that you cannot enforce other languages other than English. Would be pointless, anyways - you would have to have the proper Asian installer in the first place to even get the specific language files on your system. Same for otehr languages - a US/ North America installer will never give you Italian or German, just US English, Canadian French and possibly Spanish.

My itunes changed language and shows squares. HELP PLEASE.

One day I opened Itunes and there were a bunch of boxes where the nav. bar is and i can't read anything because it just changed language. I figured out which tab goes to Edit>Preferences or whatever it is, and I tried changing the language, and they all look exactly the same; nothing changes.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Didn't work.
I tried again, this time, searching and deleting every bit of itunes/quicktime/apple software on my computer. Stil didn't work.
Can someone help please?!
