Hello Team,
We have query regarding log changes made to Compensation Management tool. Is there any possibility to track the User Name/ id who has done
changes in Compensation Management tool while doing Compensation adjustment. (I.e. updated salaries).
Can you please help us with Standard report or transaction code to find change log for Compensation tool.
Best Regards,
Rajas

Hi Praneeth Kumar,
Thanks for response.
With the help of Standard Report S_AHR_61016380 / RPAUD00 we could see master data changes or log changes made to Infotypes. Our question is how to track the User Name/ id who has done changes in Compensation Management tool while updating salaries for employees in Comp tool.
Can you please help us with Standard report or transaction code to find change log for Compensation tool.

  • Change log issues-2 images for a single requests

    Hi ,
    in change log table for a single request i found 2 before images and two after images, is this normal behaviour if not when can we see the such type of scenarios.
    because it leads to zero records when it isn updated in to the further data targets.
    thanks.

    the listener is NOT involved with any existing session.
    stopping & restarting the listener has NO impact on existing sessions.
    I suggest it is better to control network access to any system using a Firewall which is the best tool for this task.
    Yes, it is possible to have more than 1 listener. It is also possible to poke yourself in the eye with a sharp pencil.
    I suggest that you should avoid both of these possible activities.
    Simply put having multiple listeners is wrong for multiple reasons & should be avoided.

  • Error in Change Log of Sales Documents

    When i try to see the Change Log of sales document (Tools> Change Log) I get an error message
    No matching records found " (ADOC)(ODBC - 2028) [Message 131-183]
    What can it be ?

    Yes it should, but maybe those documents were created before the "History / Log" in General Settings > Services were changed from 0 to (example) 99.
    Only after this action, information will be recorded in the Chang Log.

  • Change log

    Hi,
    Is there any difference between the programs RSTBHIST ( Table history) and RSVTPROT(Evaluation of log changes)?
    regards,
    Beena

    RSTBHIST
    Description
    You can record changes to table contents in the SAP System.
    For each change to a table entry, a change document is written in the table log database. The change document contains information such as time of the change and name of the user who made the change.
    Using the service functions, you can generate a list of all the change documents of the current day or a chosen time period.
    Furthermore you can display a list of all the tables, for which change documents are written (i.e. all tables with history administration).
    The administration of the table log database is supported by various functions:
    Determining the number of change documents in the table log database
    It is possible to select by time period and by table.
    Deletion of the oldest change documents from the table log database
    Enter a key date.
    You can select by table. Be careful: After deletion, the change documents are no longer available.
    Archiving of the oldest change documents
    Before deletion from the table log database, the change documents are archived in a sequential file.
    Creation of change documents
    Change documents are written for a table if:
    the table has the technical setting Logging
    the function Write change documents is active in your system
    To find out whether a table has the feature Logging, either choose the service function Tables with history administration or perform the following functions beginning with the main menu:
    Tools -> CASE -> Development -> Data Dictionary -> Display -> <tabe name> Display -> Goto -> Techn. setting
    The function Write change documents is controlled via the profile paramter rec/client. The following is possible:
    rec/client = OFF --> Function inactive
    rec/client = ALL --> Function active
    rec/client = <md1>,... --> Function active for chosen clients
    Comparison of current status with history
    For tables with change logging, it is possible to perform a comparison of the current status with the contents of the table at an earlier time.
    The table contents at both times are compared. Various field contents are highlighted.
    You can switch the display from vertical split (objects alongside one another) to horizontal split (objects below one another).

  • On an iMac I can't enter any text in safari or Firefox header bar. In all my program's I just have the arrow cursor and can't change to any tools in the tool bars - please help!

    I cant type any text in safari or and in all programs i have the arrow cursor and can't change to any tools in the tool bars - please help!

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Tracking change log by workstation ID along with username

    Hi All users,
    I am using SAP business one 8.8 and want to track changes in the system in such a way that along with user name I want to know, from which workstation (or PC) the user has made changes or created any document? Every PC has its unique IP or ID, can I see this in change log in any way? that from which workstation or client PC, the user has made changes?
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Farhan Sufi

    Dear Gordon,
    Thanks for your reply, Actually I need only workstation ID along with user name when tracking transaction log from the tools option "change log".
    I am calling it workstation ID, but you can tell me about any thing from which I can track, from which client or PC the user made any transaction. Whether It gives me computer IP or computer name or any identity of PC by which I can know which PC (among server and clients) is used by user to make any transaction.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks,
    Farhan

  • Help with change log subscriber rights

    Can someone help me give my change log subscriber object rights to see changelogs?
    I am using OID 10.1.2.1.0 on RH Linux. I followed the directions for creating my change log subscriber in the OIM Integration guide under "Synchronization with Third-Party Metadirectory Solutions". I used the Oracle Ldap command-line tools from a windows box.
    The cn=orcladmin user can see the changelog entries, but my subscriber object account get's "insufficient_rights" when it tries to see cn=changelog, although it seems to be able to browse the rest of the directory tree fine.
    Here's a listing of my subscriber object:
    C:\D\ldaptools_oracle>ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -s sub -D cn=orcladmin -w xxxxx -b "cn=Oracle Internet Directory" "(&(objectclass=*)(cn=miis_change_subscriber))"
    cn=miis_change_subscriber,cn=Subscriber Profile,cn=ChangeLog Subscriber,cn=Oracle Internet Directory
    orcllastappliedchangenumber=2600
    orclsubscriberdisable=0
    objectclass=orclChangeSubscriber
    objectclass=top
    cn=miis_change_subscriber
    userpassword={SHA}8wNdwBiIGL4+QyKn06u...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5}ah1tJyQf8lp...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5-DN}Lt3/8l2R...
    authpassword;oid={SASL/MD5-U}1XmqsqH9...
    Here's my query for trying to see changelogs.
    ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -D "cn=miis_change_subscriber,cn=Subscriber Profile,cn=ChangeLog Subscriber,cn=Oracle Internet Directory" -w xxxx -b "cn=changelog" -s one "(&(changenumber>=2600))" targetDN
    ldap_search: Insufficient access
    But the same query substituting the superuser gives me a list:
    ldapsearch -h lynx -p 389 -D "cn=orcladmin" -w xxxxx -b "cn=changelog" -s one "(&(changenumber>=2600))" targetDN
    Changenumber=2612, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    Changenumber=2613, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    Changenumber=2614, cn=changelog
    targetdn=cn=instance1,cn=odisrv,cn=subregistrysubentry
    etc...
    Is there a particular group he should belong to?
    Thanks!

    Here I am answering my own question, after 10 days without a single response. Thanks, Oracle!
    Through oidadmin (Internet Directory Manager) I added my change log subscriber account to the group: cn=odisgroup,cn=DIPadmins,cn=Directory Integration Platform,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext.
    Don't know if this is the correct process or not, but this group has rights to see the changelogs. Now I can see 'em.
    Thanks again!

  • OID - Help Reqd(Integration Server/Change Logs)

    Not sure of the terms. I have been approached to
    troubleshoot the following scenario.
    Using OID. Intergration server is used besides 3rd
    party tools from Sun , IBM. The change logs need to
    be picked up by the 3rd party tools. How do i do it.
    TIA

    Hi Stephan,
    I think this is not the correct approach because development and productive systems are different. You must register your technical systems by means of RZ70 transactions. If you have two different landscapes (DEV, PROD) you must register on two SLD servers.
    Doc about SLD: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b09fe69e-46be-2a10-9fb0-9c11aeaa3557

  • UDO Change log error

    Hi,
       I created a UDO in B1 2007 and enabled the option to log changes i.e. Change log functionality. I created a custom form as the UI for the UDO. The following functionality works without issues:
    1. Able to add/update data via the custom screen into the UDO tables
    2. Every time i make a change a new instance of the record is avaialble in the AXXXX tables i.e. the log tables.
    3. When I click on Tools --> Change Log i see a line there for each instance in the AXXXX table.
    My issue is:
    When I select 2 instances on this window and click "Show Differences" button, I get a red message on the status bar saying "Internal error (1) occurred [Message 131-183]".
    My questions are:
    1. My understanding is B1 will show the differences like it does on any other document form i.e. Sales order, quote etc. Do we need to do any custom programming?
    2. In stnadard sales order, you have the ability to double click on each instance to see the details of that record. Is it possible with a UDO or does that have to be custom programming?
    Thanks,
    Gopal

    Hello Viswanathan,
    I am trying to use the change log on my UDO & custom form as you are doing, but I have not had as much success as you have had.  Regarding your list of 3 items, numbers 1 and 2 also work fine for me, but number 3 (selecting "Change Log" from the tools menu) is impossible because the change log option is disabled.  I have tried enabling it when my form is displayed, but that does not work.
    I was wondering if you could offer me any advice on what you did to get step 3 working?  I have posted a question regarding this on the forum.  If you care to respond to it, then I can give you points for the answer:
    [Can change log be used with UDO master table/lines?;
    Thank you

  • Read Change Logs of KP26/KP27

    Hello,
    How to read change logs of kp26 transaction. I am unable to view the change logs in CDHDR table. COST table contains all the information, but i need changes log history by date.
    Thanks
    -Always Learner

    Hello Rob,
    Thanks for your reply. If the changes are not available in CDHDR table, then that means that changes logs are not available for these transactions.
    We are able to see all changes logs in KP26 when we select any item and click on line item on application tool bar
    Could you please let me know if there is any way to capture changes logs for these transactions.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Change Logs for TCODE -- FILE

    Hi Friends,
        Please help me in finding the change logs  for the TCODE  FILE,
        i.e  The changes made to the Logical paths
       I had tried  Utilities---->change logs , but unfortunately i cannot find any changes logs
       But there are changes made to the logical paths in my system but i cannot see them in change logs
    thanks
    chandrasekhar j

    rec/client is a profile parameter, you can view the settings in transaction RZ10.  However I find program RSPARAM more useful, the report lists all system parameters with their default and altered value.  Also if you double-click on a parameter you can get to the full help text for its meaning.
    The parameter essentially switches on table change logging for configuration tables (based on the technical settings of the table) and has to be set before the changes are made.
    Hope this helps.
