How do i activate Logs for an Org Infotype ? Can I do this for Custom Infotype too ?
    Thanks in Advance !!
    Naveen

    Hi Naveen,
Please refer the following steps in SPRO
Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Define Relevant Object Types for Change Log
Here, you can define the object types for which you want to monitor the changes
Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Define Infotypes Relevant for Change Log
Here, you can define the infotypes that you want to monitor.
Finally, make sure the change log is activated at the below step
Position Budgeting and Control ->Automatic Commitment/Budget Creation ->Basic Settings ->Activate Recording of Financing Relevant Infotype Changes ->Activate Change Log for Infotypes
    I hope this helps you.

  • How to delete HR Infotype Change log

    Hi,
I would like to know if there are any means to delete the HR infotype change log. I've already executed the standard program RPUDELPN to delete all the employee records every time an environment is refreshed from the production image, however both the long term and short term infotype change log can still be access. I need to remove those change logs as well to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential data.
    Thanks a lot.
    Francis

Thanks. However, I'd like to know if I can delete the change documents that were already logged.
My scenario is that in production environment, we have turn on the logging and change documents are already created. Now we have refresh the development environment with the production images, so I've to delete all the employee records as well as the change documents in order to prevent unauthorized access to these confidential information.
The standard program RPUDELPN already delete all the employee records but not the change documents. Where and how can I delete both the long and short term document as well?
    Thanks.

  • Infotype Changes Log Report

    Hi,
I’m trying to trace the changes made infotypes using the report RPUAUD00, if some changes made in the Infotype 0000, 0001, 0002 then the changes are not traced in report. I have checked the viewV_T585A,V_T585B,V_T585C .
I need to know why the changes are not reflecting in the report...

  • Change log in HR (Table PCL4 Cluster LA)

    Hi @ all,
when infotype logging is activated changes made in infotypes are logged into table PCL4 cluster LA.
    We have the following problem:
HR masterdata is stored into our system from an external system via ALE. But the problem is that no change logs are written. But we absolutely need this information!!!
Now I have coded a RFC function module which reads the log data from the external system. This also works fine. But how do I have to store the data into <b>our</b> PCL4(LA)???

nope - I didn't try this because I don't know about the data which is needed to store the change log correct.
Other question: I've found the function module "HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_CREATE" which seems to do what I want. But the problem is that there is no documentation available. The FM has four table parameters - does anyone how how to fill them? Has anyone used this FM? It is not used within standard programs - the "where used" function does not report any hits.
    Thx in advance

  • Change Log for OM

    Hi,
I have to record changes made to OM infotypes like 1000, 1001, etc. It seems dynamic actions are not supported for these. Report RPUAUD00 is not an option as it does not support OM as well.
Is SCU3 the only option available? I believe setting up rec/client will increase load on the database quite substantially. Any comments???
    Regards

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. The task at hand is to record changes to our own table online. Based on the changes made to OM, I have to log entries in a specific format in my own Z table for later processing. That is why I was particulary interested in finding about an EXIT/configuration option for OM to record changes.
Any way, the options that come to my mind are:
    1. field-exits (need to see if they meet requirements)
    2. events (If I could register an event for "Position/Org Unit created/modified" e.g. and then call my own routine, that might help.)
    Any thoughts???
    Regards

  • RPUAUD00 Change Log Issue on Table T585B

I added some new infotypes to the RPUAUD00 change log on tables:
    t585a
    t585b
    t585c
Everything seems to be working as expected, but I received soft errors on t585b:
"! All data fields 0006 01 will be deleted"
when I used * (all fields).
This did not happen when I used actual field names.
Does anyone know what that means?
    thanks!

It's just a warning for this specific view if you put '*' in field name. What it means is that if you currently configure audit changes
for specific fields of this infotype, all of these entries will automatically be deleted by SAP when you use '*' (all fields are marked for audit). Therefore, there should not be a concern on the message.

  • Change Logs for TCODE -- FILE

    Hi Friends,
Please help me in finding the change logs  for the TCODE  FILE,
i.e  The changes made to the Logical paths
I had tried  Utilities---->change logs , but unfortunately i cannot find any changes logs
But there are changes made to the logical paths in my system but i cannot see them in change logs
    thanks
    chandrasekhar j

rec/client is a profile parameter, you can view the settings in transaction RZ10.  However I find program RSPARAM more useful, the report lists all system parameters with their default and altered value.  Also if you double-click on a parameter you can get to the full help text for its meaning.
The parameter essentially switches on table change logging for configuration tables (based on the technical settings of the table) and has to be set before the changes are made.
    Hope this helps.

  • Filled fields become blank in DSO change log

    Hi experts,
I find an unusual behavior in DSO activation.
For some records for which I find in PSA, new data table (and in debug also!!!) correct data, when the request is activated I find in change log table all characteristic fields empty; the key fields and key figure fields are ok and correct in all tables.
It happen randomly for some orders and for a few requests.
It happen when I have one storno record, for example:
PSA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, X, -25
DEBUG (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, X, -25
CHANGE LOG (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, , 25
    10000, 10, , , X, -25
ACTIVE DATA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, AAA, YYY, 25
    In some other cases:
ACTIVE DATA (order, item, customer, material, storno, quantity)
    10000, 10, , , -25
Have you some ideas? It is very strange.
We are on a 7.0 BW system, but with 3.5 data flow (update rule).
    Thanks in advance.

    Vito,
    This happens some times...
    1. Did you transport any change to this DSO where characteristics were added and are these the ones that are blank...
When this happens - see if you can clear the change log ( if this is an option ) and then reactivate the cube.
Also there is a program to regenerate the activation program, I am not able to locate this - but then usually reactivating the ODS will usually clear this issue because it regenerates the activation program.

  • Need suggestion to get data from change log table of ODS.

    Hello,
There is a case where i am loading opportunity header data from header ODS and opportunity item data from item ODS in the opportunity cube.
Status (1= OPEN, 2= WON ETC) of the opportunity are available only in header ODS and not in item ODS.
While loading data from header ODS to cube, I am loading it directly but while loading data from item ODS to cube i am using active data table of header ODS as a lookup in the update rule from item ODS to cube. I am selecting status from the active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
Since active data table will have only after image records, there is some data mismatch in the report as i am selecting data from active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
I need to select data from Change log in order to get before image also instead of active data table in order to overcome this issue. Is there any way by which i can do selection from Change log instead of active data table as change logs are generated at run time.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
    Regards,
    Sanjay Chaurasia.

    Hi,
You can use the changelog table of the DSO.
Right click manage the Header DSO, go to the contents tab and click Change Log table. There you can see the technical name of the Change Log table.
In the update rule Routine, give the tech name of Change log table instead of Active table name.
    Hope it helps.
    Krishna
