Change logo in form F140_CASH_DOC_01

Hi Experts,
Requirement in Receipt printing in tcode FBCJ.
In form F140_CASH_DOC_01 which is assigned with program RFKORD80 in tocde OB96, I want to change the logo. There is default logo which i want to change to the company logo. How to do this? I have already uploaded the logo through SE78. Please provide me the solution.

select your logo in tcode se78 and check if it is color or black and white logo , after that copy your smartfrom to zsmartfrom then goto tocde samrtfrom and click the logo window and change the name.
otherwise goto smartform check logo name and upload the new logo with same name . it will disply new logo. before overwrite the logo check this logo was using some other forms alao..

Adding and Adjust Size of New Logo on Form in SE71

I have an existing form on which the logo needs to be changed. The form is SAPscript using tcode SE71. I uploaded the new logo (.bmp) using tcode SE78 but when I put it on the form it is extremely large. How do I adjust the size of the logo so it is more compact and fits into the upper left hand corner of the form? We are on ECC 6.0.

Its simple.
This is the general formart to handle the size of a logo. In your case you have specified it as a Bitmap file so use the syntax below,
BITMAP <Logo name> OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BCOL DPI <resolution>.
You can have different resolution namely 75, 100, 200, 150, 300 and 600 dpis.
This varies based on the printer settings. Try using this friend.

Critiical - Oracle Contract Breach by Changing Logo, frmall_jinit.jar file?

Hi Guys,
We want to display our own logo instead of ORACLE logo in forms runtime applet that is loaded in web browser.
I know how to do it, adding the logo in frmall_jinit.jar file and in formsweb.cfg, setting logo=<our logo>.
And this is working perfectly fine.
The query i have is -
By doing so do we breach Oracle's contract? As we are modifying a jar file provided by them?

Ahhh, I thought you wanted to know if it is allowed to change the frmall_jinit.jar to add your own logo hence the link to the documentation ;).
So you are saying you are replacing the oracle_logo.gif located in /forms/icons? This doesn't sound right as to my mind that's misusing of the Corporation Name "Oracle" (on the other side I'm just a developer, not a lawyer).
But anyway: if you change the logo via formsweb.cfg (logo=something) to something else, and pack your image in a different jar file you should be good in my mind. They give you the possiblities to change the logo of your forms app and they document it. Sounds valid to me (again: developer, not lawyer).

How can i check for posted but not yet commited changes in a form

Dears
I make changes programmatically in a form then i post it using (Post built in).
If the user exits the form, i make check for any changes in the form to commit it using the system variable :system.form_status
Unfortunately the value of this system variable is 'Query' not 'Changed' because of using the post built in.
Is ther another system variable ( or any another way ) that check for posted but not yet commited changes in the form ?

I had faced similar situation. Using of package variable which identifies, what is the user's latest action.
This is just a workaround.
Capture what the user has performed into a variable say, PKG_VAR.ACTION,
This will be assigned values like List L, and Create C, Update U and Saved S.
If commit is executed,assing the status S to the variable.
So while closing,
IF :system.form_status = 'CHANGED' or PKG_VAR.ACTION in ('C','U') THEN
-- validate the data, n perform commit.
else
-- just close the form.
end if;

Changed Outlook Contact Form back to IPM.Contact - now I can't save contact in Public Folder

I recently changed the Contact form that we were using back to the default IPM.Contact. I did this so that it would be consistent for only a few of us had a custom contact template to use and it made it difficult to share contact information. After
changing the contact default back to IPM.Contact and changing all the contacts to reflect the default Message class, no can add a contact to the Public Folder contact file. I have tried several different setting for the permsion. Publishing Author, Publish
Editor, Owner, it still gives the error
The item cannot be saved to this folder. The folder was deleted, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the degfualt folder for the item.
When I changed the form back to IPM.Contact i ran the omglass.exe to change it on all the contacts in the public folder.
Please advise for no contacts can now be added to our company contact list

Please right-click this public folder, click Properties. In the General tab, make sure the field of "When posting to this folder, use" is set to IPM.Contact.
Please restart Outlook with Outlook /checkclient switch(Start > Run > type Outlook /checkclient and enter) to have a try. If it fails, please create a new Outlook profile to have a try:

Changes in standard form

Hello,
I have a standard transaction MI21 for physical inventory.
I need to change the standard form and attached back to this transaction.My first query is how to find the form name in standard program? program name is RM07IDRU.
Can i copy the original form in zform and make a changes and attach it back to standard program.
How to do this?
Please let me know as its an urgent.

Forms are INVENT and INVENT_VKBW you can use either of these accrding to your requirement.
But if you copy it to Z form then you will be needed to copy the program and then change form names in OPEN_FORM.

This should not be handled by ABAP. If they were able to change it in the sales documents, they should be able to cancel the invoice in VF11 and create another one. That's the best practice.

This is very simple, create all the logo's with the actual name of the person or perner.
Use a select query on your table and pass the value of the seleceted record as the name of the graphic in the smartform node.
Something like this:
MAPPING TABLE"
PERNER    IMAGE_NAME
0001           0001
0002           0002
in se78, you logo name should be '0001' , '0002' and so on....
in smartform, based on ur pernr, select a record from mapping table and pass the value of the image name to a variable in the graphics display node.
this should solve your prob.

I am new to hr-abap..And I am working on HR form editor..and I wanted to generate a pay-slip using the hr forms..I had copied the standard form..and I am making the changes into that..
I want to add my own customization into it..like I wanted to display total in words...also, i wanted to display a message at the end of my report..This message should be allowed to change to end user...like for eg..Some Seasonal greetings...
I am using Tcode pe51 to make changes in my form...
Please tell me how to go about and where to implement all these changes so that they will get displayed in my form...Its urgent...

When you go into HRFORM tcode, double click on your form name.
It will take you to Customization window where you can drag and drop all additional data yo want on form.
For designing and coding purpose click on the LAYOUT button on top of that window.
This will open the form in SMARTFORM.
Dont try to go directly as your Form name dont exist in Smartforms.

Detect changes on tabular form

HI guys!
Is there any way to detect that there were some changes made on tabular form? My Client wants me to create items which are conditional upon changes made on tabular form. IE button X is only visible if there were no changes made on tabular form.

OK. This is the simpler scenario.
The button should be rendered upon loading the page, as at this point there are no changes to the form.
You should leave the checkbox column, which selects your rows, unchanged (event free), as it doesn’t affect the visibility status of the button – it should remain visible even if rows were selected (without changing any other cells).
As I suggested in my first post, you should use the onchange event with all the other editable columns. The event should call a JavaScript function that hides the button, because when fired it means something has changed in one of the cells.

Unable to save changes to Interactive form

Hi All
       I am designing an Interactive form in the WD Java application. This form is in DC which belongs to TRACK1.
      After making changes to the form I try to save the changes by clicking "Save All Metadata" but that has no effect. when i close the form and reopen it, the all changes made are gone.
      From some threads i got that Interactive form should not be kept blank. But even after assigning all the attributes to Form I am unable to save the changes to PDF.
      While as changes made to PDF in another DC belonging to TRACK2 are getting saved.
      Does that mean the track in perticular has to be given some perticular authorization? or does that depend on authoriztions of userid which created the track?
Please help me in resolving this issue

actually when i tried to modify the XDP file, i found that for all DCs in that particular track no XDP file has been generated. also that the templateSource property of the InteractiveForm UI Element is blank while as it should point to the template on file system.
i checked the SAPNote 822198 as suggested on this thread Link: [Adobe Document Server issues - cannot save metadata of interactive form UI; but it has not solved my issue.
can you please suggest wat the issue might be??
