If you are dealing with a G5 Power Mac, your internal drive interface is SATA. The only jumper issue there might be if your drive is a Seagate or Western SATA-2 or SATA-3 drive, in which case you will need to have a jumper in place to make the drive recognize the SASA-1 interface. (I bought a couple of 1TB Seagates a couple of years ago and they came jumpered for SATA-1 already, it turned out.) Master/slave won't be an issue with the SATA drives.

Oh, and as an after thought, it would be better to use SuperDuper! or CCC to clone the drive, as Disk Utility restore may leave visible things on the root volume that are better left invisible (some Unix folders). The free SuperSuper! will work just fine doing the basic clone operation.

You can store your iTunes library on a Time Capsule. So that you can access on your local (home) network (I wouldn't recommend access via the internat), (off site.....to slow).
If you do decide to put your libray on Time Capsule I'd recommend doing this.
Option 1:
1. Don't use TC as a Backup (Time Machine).
2. Connect a USB drive to your TC or Computer and backup to the drive. Backup when a change is made to the library (adding Apps, Songs you get the idea).
Option 2: (What Im doing)
1.   Two Time Capsule's connected via ethernet cable (roaming mode, bridge).
2.   Use TC1 as a Time Machine backup
3.   Use TC2 as network drive. (The information on TC2 does NOT get backed up to TC1).
3a. Connect a USB, FW, drive to your desktop computer (if you have one) use SilverKeeper to schedule backups.       Silverkeeper will look at TC2 and back it up to a external or internal HD. I've been doing the or some time now. Or connect to your TC and do an archive.
I have this setup because I don't trust Cloud base services and I want access to my files (in Sync) on TC where ever I am, as long as there's a internet connection. It's expensive, but does exactly what I expect.
The most important thing is to safe guard your data in case of a failure.
In your situation it would probably be better to get a high speed SD or thumb drive, however I've never been successful in backing up those type of drives with TM. What ever you decide to do make sure you have a GOOD duplicate (backup).

Agentry: Trigger action when changing main screen tab

I'm adapting Work Manager for iPad and in my main screen I have 4 tab screens: Work Orders, Notifications, Time Sheets and Crew Manager.
I would like to trigger a List Selection action step when the user navigates to the Time Sheets tab in order to select the current day of the week automatically. I already created and tested the action with a button and it's working fine but I don't find a way to trigger an action when changing main screen tabs.

In the screen definition there is not much I can define... just the icon, size and styling...

Regarding Bill suggestions I think there are too many possible actions in the main screen where to apply the selection step.
And to apply Jason's workaround I need to do a major UI change and user's are too familiar now with the solution that has been in production for a while...
I think I will set the date after transmit. It won't work on the initial load and when user manually selects a different day and comes back to the tab, but I think it will cover more than 90% of application uses since they are supposed to synchronise every morning and register time for the current date usually.

Watching in a bigger size a received Video through RTP

so here is the thing,
My code was based on AVReceive2, I received a rtp stream, then play the video in a player.
I tried to change the size of mostly anything I could, the player visual component, with the panel it was added to. Or setBounds etc... it seems like the visual component gets bigger for a really really short moment, then go back to the original streamed video size.
Is it something I should add in the repaint() function of the player ?
I just want to watch the video in a bigger size, like a fullscreen mode.
Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks a lot

First, you need to make sure you're using lightweight renderers...

Second, you're going to want to add the visual component to the center region of a JPanel with a border layout manager.
Third, you're going to want to set the size of the outside JPanel to be the size you want the video to be. Resizing the outside JPanel should cause the video to resize...

Can you change the units used for size and position in layout editor?

In Aperture 3.4, does anyone know if you can change the units used for size and position in layout editor? The page is set in inches, but the image size and position are given in centimetres and I would prefer to work all in inches to create custom layouts. I can't see any way to change this. If anyone knows how it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Aperture uses the unit settings defined in the System Preferences. Set the "Measurement Units" in the "Region" tab of the "Language & Text" preferences to "US"; the Aperture will display the Size & Position in inches, if it is the "Book" layout manager you are asking about.

First, you added a message to a thread called "How to change main window view" which makes it look like you had information to add that thread, and you did not. Second, people who can help you are more likely to read a message that has your problem in the subject than they are to read this message. I.e., you won't get what you want if you ask for something else.
That being said, when you repost your query in a new thread, you'll have to be more specific. A "Frame" is not in the regular Aperture terminology.

Thanks Winston, restarting my router worked for me too. Seems that somehow the DCHP (maybe due to the Mountain Lion upgrade?) had assigned the same IP address to both the AppleTV and my iMac. The AppleTV stopped appearing as an AirPlay device for my iPhone and Mac, but still the AppleTV had Internet access.
Restarting the router reassigned IPs and without fanfare, the AppleTV is now available to AirPlay.

I'm afraid you can't do this. Once you've chosen the main @icloud.com address when you set up the account you can't change it (other than by creating a completely new account); and you can't make an alias the main address in the account it's in or any other account.

Ok then it sounds like your primary key of 8 fields and secondary index of 3 non-unique fields appear somewhat similar to the database and it wrongly uses the secondary index. Perhaps you can try to declare the table as a SORTED table with index fields as key. I doubt this will do any good, but you can try.
You can try to deactivate the sec. index if it is not being used.
Or by far the best but also debatable, try to pass hints to the SQL parser by %_hints statement. Please refer to SAP note 129385 for details on hints in general and note 772497 for various hints statements for ORACLE DB. This will surely make the DB interface use the primary index and the update would be faster. But with 1 million records, hopefully you are not looking at response time in micro seconds, are you?

I've spent several days crafting 54-page 11"x8.5" book in Aperture.
And was going to print in special photo lab.
But unfortunately due to their requirements I need to bring the book
in a different size/page proportion.

You can choose to change Theme and then choose one you made yourself with other size and proportions (Custom Theme), but I would not recommend it since text you had placed in you book most likely would disappear. The same goes for custom layouts you made in your book. And finally, picture scalings and position adjustments you have made will be lost as well.
