Change modulation channel in event list

When I just started with Logic Pro I made some mistakes I like to correct now.
I hope that is possible…
I draw modulation curves under the pianorol on regions in a track in channel 6.
But I forgot the set the channel menu to '6' and now the modulation events are on 'any' and so unwanting modulating channel 5 as well.
• can I copy and paste events like I can do with notes in the piano roll? (to copy events and put them under my notes in correct channel setting)
or
• I can edit the channel number of a event one by one in the list. But is it possible to select all events and change the channelnumber at once?
any help is welcome,

You should be able to make use of the Filter button in the Event List to "filter" out all other types of event (notes, pitch bend etc), so that you are left only seeing Controller events. Select them all, then change the MIDI Channel

Event listing shortened in iCal

When I enter some events in iCal they do not appear in their entirety in the calendar. Some events use two or three lines, some cut off in only one line. The only solution I have found is to keep changing the 'name' of the event until I hit on one that does not cut off. Surely there is another solution! Any ideas?

There is no event list option on iCal like the one on the iPhone.
That number means that you have an event invitation. Use iCal>View>Show Notifications to choose what to do with the notification.

Old How to find total number of events in an event list?

I am developing a j2me application. i Want to find the total number of events in an event list.(ie, If it contains 15 events then it should return length as 15).
Not the length of EVENT LISTS i want to find the Length of EVENTS.

How do you change the color of events on ICal.

How do you changed the color of events on ICal? I was able to do this when I utilized ICal on the Snow Leopard system but can no longer do this with Lion.
I know that I can select the Calanders list, but when I create a new "Calander" it doesn't allow me to choose a color and it doesn't show up in my list when working within an event.

Right-click on the new calendar and select "Get Info."
Make sure that the ✓ mark is selected.

An error occurred when attempting to change modules Lightroom 5 CC

I've seen other users pose this question but haven't seen any solutions that work for me. I get the error: "An error occurred when attempting to change modules" when I open up Lightroom 5 on one user, but on another user it opens up fine. I've tried moving and trashing preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling the program. It's the same whether I open an existing catalog or try to open Lightroom while creating a new project. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This occured after updating to Mavericks on a 2011 iMac. All other Creative Cloud apps seem to have installed just fine.

An error occurred while attempting to change modules

I installed Lightroom and when starting the program I get, "An error occurred while attempting to change modules." I get this message within the program when clicking on any of the top right menu items. Also, importing a photo is not listed in the file menu. I deleted the preference file and Lightroom folder in my user preference and reinstalled. I tried many reinstalls, it still has reoccurring error message. Anyone now a fix? I'm running 10.5 on a Core Duo with 2meg of RAM on a 320 gig hard drive with lots of room.

For what it is worth, I was unable to change to the Web and Print modules, and I was also unable to record new presets (though I had successfully done it many times before) though I could still use already created ones. I was baffled, but found a workaround using hints from this and other forums. Much thanks to those who provided me with a starting point as I never would have figured this out on my own.
My wife is a separate user on the same computer, and I tried switching our catalogues and preference files, ... nada. Looking at her folder structure under user/library/application support/adobe/lightroom, she had folders for Web Templates, Web Galleries, and Print Templates but I didn't. So, simply copying her folders (not creating new ones of the same name, which may still have worked) into my own lightroom directory worked.
Where I screwed up initially was tryiong to use my own presets under her install of lightroom and then creating new ones (which worked) but then trying to import them back into mine. I had the new presets working under my own install, but still couldn't create new ones under my own setup. Finally, I realized that it was the "Develop Presets" folder under my own install that was in some way corrupted and copied her Develop Presets folder into my own install and every thing was fixed. I could even copy the subfolders from my own Develop Presets folder directly back in without issue.

Error msg. Changing Modules

I just downloaded Lightroom 2.6 and when it opens I get "an error occurred when attempting to change modules". I'm running LR on a MacBook Pro running OS 10.6
I tried shutting down and restarting but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

I just spent the last hour and a half of my life trying to get a trial version of 2.7 working on my intel mac (10.5.8).
Adobe support was totally useless. Customer support can't help because it's "not an installation problem", and product support (where they transferred me to) can't help because "it's a trial version". They sent me to www.adobe.com/go/supportportal, but that doesn't help because it's not a registered product on "my list".
I see lots of people in the forums having this problem, but no solutions.
This is really encouraging me to switch from Aperture to Lightroom —— NOT!
Adobe support, WHERE ARE YOU ON THIS?

Change from screen processing to list procesing

I am working in a program where I have changed from screen processing to list processing, in the PBO of screen '0600', that way:
module screen_0600 output.
SET PF-STATUS '0600'.
 LEAVE TO LIST-PROCESSING AND RETURN TO SCREEN 0.
perform header.
perform body.
 LEAVE SCREEN.
endmodule. " STATUS_0600 OUTPUT
My problem is that there is no resizing of the window where the list is displayed, and I don`t know to change the LINE-SIZE.
Any Ideas??

UI not getting change update when working with LIST and INotifyPropertyChanged

i was trying to know two way data binding. i have simple car class which extend INotifyPropertyChanged for notify the change to update UI. bind List object to few textboxes and notice when one textbox value change then other textbox value not updated. all
textboxes bind to same property. so one's value change should propagate to other textboxes.

I would have thought that'd work with List<t>, in fact I think there must be something wrong in your code there. I can't spot it though.
I recommend use of ObservableCollection rather than BindingList.
The default on bindings is that changes are propagated from the target ( view ) to source ( vm ) when the control loses focus.
If you want to do the equivalent to a keydown event handler in a viewmodel then onpropertychanged is the way to go.
You want to avoid creating bindings in code unless you really really have to, it's way easier to put them in xaml.
Even if your ui is dynamic, you can build xaml and use that to create the ui objects:

What probably isn't very obvious is that BindingList fires an event - iirc itemchanged when properties on objects in it change.
Maybe you did something wrong in your implementation of inotifypropertychanged. I must admit, I can't see anything there though.
You don't really need those magic strings since .net4.5 and you also don't need to explicitly implement inotifypropertychanged you could use:

If you try that sample you can have:

And you can see it still notifies change successfully to both windows.
Most wpf devs will use observablecollection rather than List or bindinglist.
Observablecollection notifies addition or removal of entries. It can be used to notify an entry has changed, but does not detect change of property. You would have to raise the event in code if you want to tell it an item changed.

How to solve "An error occurred when attempting to change modules"?

Ok so first of all, it seems that Adobe has terrible customer support when it comes to Lightroom, because it wasn't listed in any of their automated phone menu options. Seems like they really wanted me to post here.
Anyway, I just installed Lightroom and opened it, and I immediately get the above error message. I've read the Adobe solutions article on this, as well as other threads in which users have discussed the same problem. I've tried every possible solution to no avail. Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Issue changing modules

Hello everyone
I had to reinstall LR and every time I start it now, I get an error message saying "an error occurred while attempting to change modules". I get a blank grey screen, no side panels, but at the bottom it lists how many photos are in the catalog and in the folder. There is no filmstrip. Clicking on Preferences does nothing; no dialogs or anything. It used to run fine.
OSX 10.9.5, The only software issue I have had is not being able to update to Yosemite.
Any suggestions?

This is what fixed it (I think. I hope!) for me:
Solution 5: Set correct permissions on Lightroom folder inside Application Support
NOTE: Use this solution if you are asked for your serial number after you relaunch Lightroom after getting this error.
The Lightroom folder inside Application Support could have the wrong permissions preventing Lightroom from writing to it which can cause this error.
Navigate to the following folder: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom
Highlight the Lightroom folder and chose File > Get Information
Under Sharing & Permission, verify that your have Read & Write Privileges. If not, click the padlock icon at the lower right, enter your password when prompted, then click the Read only entry and select Read & Write.
Important: (Mac OS) Apple made the user library folder hidden by default with the release of Mac OS X 10.7. If you need access to files in the hidden library folder to perform Adobe-related troubleshooting, see How to access hidden user library files.

"error changing modules" on mac

I have Lightroom 1.3.1 running on a 2 GHz intel mac with 2GB Ram, OSX 10.4.11.
I recentley got a new Sigma dp1 camera and shot some images in RAW, used the supplied software to process that into a tiff file that I tried to load into lightroom. The image showed up in lightroom in a different library, but when I try now to get to all of my old images I just get "an error occurred when attempting to change modules". All that shows up now is a grey screen (no side panels).
What I am really worried about saving is the settings that I have in the develop modules for my previous photos. Is there some way that I could at least save those if I need to uninstall/reinstall lightroom.

Having same issue on Leopard 10.5. 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo. 4 gb 667 ram.
Have tried reinstalling, but to no avail. Also tried to find plist file, but could not find a plist file that related to LR specifically, only a big list. Used Appdelete to uninstall. How do I find the plist file for LR?
Want to try installing 1.3, but am not able because some residual files on the computer won't let me install an older version. Any ideas on finding those files?
Any other suggestions?

Okay, I'd be really grateful of any input here. I am on an imac, running leopard 10.5.5.
I have and love CS3. I've previously ran Lightroom 1 on a PC. when I changed over to a mac, I attempted to run lightroom 1 on it. it wouldnt run - up came the error changing modules message. a little web browsing led me to think that was because I was running such a new OS. so I left it, {trashed the install} until I got this lightroom 2.
ligthroom 2 will not run, I get to upload the software, but the screen is just the black background, no full menus and the error message ALL the time I click anything.
I've been working my way thro the troubleshooting here, and deleted the com.lists. trashed the uploda dn reinstalled. still the errors. I've finally got it uploaded on a test user name, logging myself out. however, I cannot copy or drag, or access the correctly running version once back in my 'real'user name. I have tried deleting the correct upload afterwards. . nope.
I have tried so much I'm really losing heart.
I'm totally sure that somehow uploading or attempting to upload the lightroom 1 has somehow caused this.
what do you think?

many thanks JOhn, last night, I copied all the module folders from the working version on a different user name and put them in the {empty} modules folder {in application support/adobe/lightroom} under my name. this made the full screen of library light up, have full menus and I got very excited I'd fixed it. sadly I hadnt, when I attempted to change to slideshow or any of the other options up popped the error message again. :( I'm now off to see if I can find this .lock file.
can you tell me how to find it? where is it ? my apologies for being a little dim here, I'm way outa my depth already...
